With a baby on the way - I have a feeling I'll be getting the Live Feeds to keep me occupied during all of those late-night feedings. Might need to look into getting a laptop with wireless internet! haha (only half-joking!) - we may move the computer up near the baby's room though.

Yeah - it's our guilty pleasure too - hope there's a good cast!

Rose, You never know what twists they'll pull out. I've read several different rumors on various boards, here's one I read on another board (in white):

Will and Janelle come back to be the "houseparents" for a few episodes.

There's speculation that there might be 20 HGs b/c the symbol for this season is a palm tree and the sun with 20 arms/rays. I can't even imagine 20 ppl in the house!

Wow, the guys looks like total sleeze bags. Looks like they are trying to sex things up a lot. I like it when it is a good mix of normal people with just a touch of sexual tension. Not when the whole house is a raging bag of hormones. One of the girls looks just like skinny Anna Nicole.

Okay... I just read their bios (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother8/bio_soft/amber.shtml) on CBS.com. First of all, only a few of them listed Big Bro as a fav TV show. Duh. Second of all, who on earth lists Three's Company and Golden Girls as fav TV shows?? :confused: Yeah, they were funny... in the 80s.

I wasn't sure where to post this but...

I went to the CBS site and looked at all of the contestants. I'm a little sad that there are only two players over 30 and only one minority. It seems like a lot of the contestants this year are young and single. I suppose that might be okay, but I always liked seeing players of different ages and backgrounds together.

So what are everyone's thoughts about the HGs? My .02:

Amber ~ Don't have much of an opinion of her just yet.
Carol ~ She seems nice enough - "normal".
Danielle ~ She seems sweet, laid back and smart.
Dick ~ I actually kind of like him. I didn't think I would.
Dustin ~ Like him so far.
Eric ~ He was cracking me up last night - trying to get the wrong answers. I think he has a great personality. Good pick for America's Choice.
Jameka ~ Seems nice - no opinion of her yet.
Jen ~ Okay, can I just say it sounds like she has a load of something in her throat? Yeah, I know, totally gross. I don't care for her personality. She's not as great as she thinks she is.
Jessica ~ She's freaking weird and immature. Plus she looks like plastic.
Joe ~ Cannot stand him. He's too mouthy and shared way TMI.
Kail ~ Dislike her the most - wouldn't give up her seat for a PG woman b/c she's been PG 3 times? WTF? Rude much? Plus she'd be pissed if one of her children was gay? Is she 87 or 37?
Mike ~ No opinion of him yet; seems nice.
Nick ~ Ditto above.
Zach ~ Ditto above.

I'll add in my .02! It's so early, but here's what I think so far.

Amber ~ Is she the one w/ the child? She seems nice, that's about all I've gathered so far.
Carol ~ Seems ok.
Danielle ~ She is different from how I thought she'd be. She seems quiet and down-to-earth. I like her so far.
Dick ~ I kind of like him too! I hope he and Danielle can work together.
Dustin ~ I like him- I wish he'd been in the house first.
Eric ~ I really like this guy- I hope America's Choice doesn't mess up his game.

Zach ~ I'm kind of biased b/c I know him, but I was SHOCKED to see how quiet he was in the house. He has a huge personality IRL and I'm amazed that they found people more obnoxious than him. :)

Actually, I think he was a safety on a Canadian team. I forget where I heard that, though...

eta: my husband was the one who pointed it out. Apparently, he was wearing a hat or shirt or something with the team's logo on it. It was a football shape with an "S" in it. They don't have professional football in Australia. It's called Australian Rules Football there.

I'm not sure I love this cast. It seems like many of them are wannabe actors/ models. What happened to the Bunkys and Kents of BB? I want regular people that are there for the game.

Is anyone watching Showtime's BB after dark? Some of it is boring, but I've picked up a few tidbits. I think it'll be awesome when people really start playing and scheming. :)

I second the Nick is the poo comment. However, the stache is kinda weird. I watch Big Brother After Dark and he really made me fall in luv with him. His comments about not needing the money and why he was in the game were respectful ( I dont want to go in great detail because I dont want his comments to be considered a spoiler, i dont think they will, but I do not want to take a chance ) Anyway, he has seem to really fallen for Danielle, DANG Blonde ( joke )

Jessica is back and was signing autographs at a local sport shop. A co-worker/friend's husband took the two kiddos to get her picture and an autograph. She says that she and Eric are still together!:eek: He was in town visiting her last weekend.

Has anyone heard about there being a BB 9 soon? They are already taking applications for the next show. I thought since the writers strike is going on that they are going to have a BB to replace the shows.
