Charting Our Course to the BFPs
http://www.ripleysorlando.com/images2/fertilitystatues.jpg
The fertility statues are known to work for some who rub them around the time of possible conception.
It is said that the baby is the most potent part of the statue.
So rub away! :D It's worth a shot!
Who we are:
This is a group of women using charting (temperatures, CM, CP, OPK/FM results, or a combination of these) to try to conceive and, along the way, are learning a heckuvalot about their own bodies! Many of us use a software program to keep track of our charts as well as allowing us to share them with each other. The most common ones are FertitlityFriend.com and Ovusoft.com.
Your threadmistresses for this thread are sea74 and missy329.
To our members:
This thread gets very busy at times, so in order to keep things less overwhelming and a bit more organized, we start a new thread every month. A link to the new thread is always posted at the end of the current thread to help everyone find their way over. The threadmistresses would really appreciate it if everyone would post their updates in Red. That way, if we get a bit behind, it is much quicker to get the thread up-to-date.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
Want to join the fun??
We welcome one and all. It doesn’t matter if you have never charted before or if you’ve been charting to avoid. I am sure you will find lots of help and support in this group.
If you would like to join, CD1 is the time to do it! That way, we can cheer you on throughout your cycle, rather than 2 days before you test! (Also, note that if you join us during your 2ww and you get a BFP that cycle, you will not be listed as a graduate.)
Please don't be discouraged by the number of posts in this thread. You don’t have to read the whole thread to join. Feel free to just jump in on the last page. Just read through these first couple of posts and post a reply with the following information and we will get you added right away. Of course, none of this info is a must but we like to know a little bit about one another.

How to link a chart from Fertility Friend:
Go to My Chart. In the Menu bar on the left hand side go down to Sharing, then Home Page Setup. The link will appear in a text box under the heading "Your Charting Home Page Web Address." Highlight the link and copy it to your signature or a post.

Things I Have Learned About TTC
by WC's Sherylb
* TTC is a journey. You will discover things about yourself that you never expected. You will face fears you never thought you had. You will find joy in little things.
* TTC can bring you closer to your DH, or it can pull you apart. If your marriage is not solid, you will find out quickly.
* No one understands exactly what you are feeling at any given moment, but someone can empathize at least a little bit.
* You will experience an emotional roller coaster ride. There will be highs and lows and fast moments and slow. Sometimes you have to wait in a very, very slow moving line. You may not even get the seat you want. It is not always fun, it can be scary, but in the end it is worth it.
* "Just relax" is the last thing in the world you want to hear from someone, but it is OK if you say it about yourself.
* There will be moments when you question your own decision to start TTC. You will wonder if you should wait or if you should just give up. Those are normal. But you will get past those feelings.
* The blue and green turtle likes to pop its head out! You will hear of someone's pregnancy and turn green with envy and blue inside because it isn't you.
* It isn't fair, it isn't easy, and it isn't pretty. But you keep doing it because the reward is worth it.
* You will be your best friend and your worst enemy. Your body will surprise you and yet disappoint you.
* Some women do get lucky and conceive right away. Others aren't so lucky and have to struggle to get there. Hopefully you will be in the first category, but prepare yourself to be in the second.
* Once you decide to TTC, there will be babies and pregnant women everywhere! You could swear there is a baby boom going on!
* You will have questions. No one will ever be in exactly your position, so don't be surprised when no one can give you exactly the answer you are looking for. But there are people that can contribute, so don't be afraid to ask!
• Two lines on a pregnancy test is not the end of the struggle. Pregnancy has lots of struggles in and of itself.

- Common TTC abbreviations
This is a list of some of the more common TTC abbreviations. I know as a newcomer to the TTC threads, it can be hard to keep them all straight. I hope these will help, and if anyone has any they would like added, please let me know!
•2WW: "2 week wait" - The approximate time from possible conception to menstruation due date; Pregnancy tests should be taken near the end of the 2WW.
•AF: "Aunt Flo"; Your period; Menstruation
•AFNW: "Aunt Flo Not Wanted"; the day your period is expected to start, but you are hoping it doesn't!
•AO: anovulatory (cycle without ovulation)
•BBs: "boobs"; breasts
•BBL: "be back later"
•BBT: Basal Body Thermometer; This is used to measure your basal body temperature, when you wake up in the morning, after at least 3 hours of sleep, before you start to move around; Use a special BBT thermometer to take your temperature because they measure the small changes in temperature from day to day more accurately than the regular fever thermometers.
•BCP: Birth control pills
•BD'ing: "baby dancing"; baby-making intercourse
•BFN: "Big Fat Neutral" or “Big Fat Negative”; Negative pregnancy test.
•BF'ing: breast-feeding
•BRB: "be right back"
•CD: cycle day; a particular day in your menstrual cycle (example: CD1 is the first day of your period)
•CL: Cover Line; a visual tool used to separate the low (pre-ovulatory) temps from high (post-ovulatory) temps; a coverline is typically based on the temperatures 6 days prior to ovulation.
•CM: cervical mucous; one of the most useful clues your body can give you in predicting your fertility; it can range from dry, creamy, sticky, or (the most fertile) egg white/watery type.
•CF: cervical fluid; same as cervical mucus
•CP: cervical position; an optional, but sometimes really useful, fertility sign; CP will generally be low, firm and closed before and after ovulation, and high, soft and open during your fertile time.
•DD: "dear daughter"
•DH: "dear husband"
•DS: "dear son"
•DPO: Days Past Ovulation; number of days from your post-ovulatory temperature rise. (Example: 1DPO is the day after your ovulation)
•Endo: endometriosis (can be a fertility problem)
•EDC and EDD: estimated date of confinement (antiquated, but still used by physicians) and estimated date of delivery
•EPT: a brand of pregnancy test, or, generic for "early pregnancy test"
•EW or EWCM: egg white cervical mucus; the most fertile quality CM; it is slippery, clear and stretchy, like egg whites; also EWCF
•FAM: Fertility Awareness Method; the method of fertility and/or birth control that correlates the physical changes you experience during your cycle to predict when you are most fertile
•FF: Fertility Friend, an online (free, for basic services) fertility charting site (website); (could also be formula feeding; check context)
•FM: fertility monitor
•FMU: first morning urine
•FP: follicular phase; the phase before ovulation, where the egg matures in the ovaries
•FPS: false pregnancy symptom(s)
•FRED: First Response Early Detection (pregnancy test)
•HCG: human chorionic gonadotropin; the hormone that is present during pregnancy and what the HPT's and blood test measure to determine if you are pregnant
•HTH: "hope that helps"
•HPT: home pregnancy test; a urine pregnancy test you can take at home
•IMHO: "in my humble opinion"
•IMO: "in my opinion"
•IUI: intra-uterine insemination
•IVF: in vitro fertilization
•KU: knocked up
•LH: leutenizing hormone; the LH surge is what is measured by the OPKs; this hormone signals the egg to burst from the ovary
•LP: luteal phase; the phase of your cycle that begins just after ovulation and continues for 10-18 days, ending with the start of your next period; during the LP, your body continues to build up the lining of your uterus, and produce hormones which would support a pregnancy; this is the time when a fertilized egg can implant into the uterine lining
MBFP Mystery big fat positive- When you see a BFP in someone’s chart but they haven’t announced it yet
•NFP: Natural Family Planning; similar to FAM, but with abstinence during the fertile period
•O, Oing, Oed: ovulation, ovulating, or ovulated
•OPK: ovulation predictor kit; tests for presence of LH surge that usually precedes ovulation by 12-48 hours; these tests are quite expensive and not always accurate (if you take medication or depending on your age); these are optional when charting with FF, but if your fertility data is not clear it can bring more light and help interpret difficult cases
•OS: Ovusoft; charting software based on TCOYF
•PCOS: polycystic ovarian syndrome (a fertility problem)
•PG: pregnant
•PIAC: pee in a cup
•POAS: pee on a stick
•RE: reproductive endocrinologist
•SA: semen analysis
•SH: "sweet husband"
•SO: "significant other"
•SYS, SYL : See ya soon! or See ya later!
•TCOYF: Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler; a book and website about charting and fertility.
•TMI: "too much information" - There is no such thing when TTC!
•TTA: "trying to avoid"
•TTC: "trying to conceive"
•TTFN: "ta-ta for now"
•TTYL, TTYS: "talk to you later" or "talk to you soon"

Wow, you girls are fast. I barely finished and you were already posting! :p I agree there are some good looking charts out there. I am excited to see what tomorrow brings.
Lee- not sure about the spotting. At first I thought maybe implantation since you are 7DPO? Sometime I get random brown spotting too.
JLRenhoes- I agree, let's start June off with a bang!

Nothing new here. I'm on cd#14. My bbs are sore for some odd reason. Af has been over for a week now & they're still sore. Who knows what's in store for me this month. I wonder if it's because FF said that I O'ed on cd 42(5/11), which at that point I was already taking my 7th pill of Provera. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, there was no bding near cd 40-anything. Gawd, I hope I don't O late this cycle. This process is just way to slow. At least I know that I ovulate.
Since I interrupted this cycle & ended it w/Provera not knowing that I was going to O on cd 42, could I have messed up this current cycle. It feels like I'm ready to get Af again.
lee where's the link to your chart?

05-31-2007, 06:40 PM
Thanks Missy! for starting our new thread! :D
JLRenheos: I don't have anything to tell you because I've never taken the provera and the only annov. cycle I had was the first just after I started taking the pill.
I'm sorry!
Hoping to see a couple of BFPs in here tomorrow morning!
lee60657
05-31-2007, 06:56 PM
JL It's on the first page :) I need to add it to my signature though.
Missy I was wondering that too - is 7DPO too early for implantation? I need to do my research on this one. If it is just random spotting hopefully it is not a sign of a problem - I swear I am so obsessed with my cycles - any weird or out of the ordinary thing causes me to worry and run to the computer to post or research  !!
I have say that I have a good feeling about tomorrow :) Good luck to all the testers!

I have a feeling I'm out. Cramping is starting like clockwork, and I used a cheapie this evening that doesn't even have an evap line. Still holding out hope though, as I drank a lot of water today, and I can't remember how long I held my pee this afternoon before I PIAC. I think it was just over 2 hours. So maybe that's all that is, and tomorrow morning will be ok. Guess we'll see what my temp is in the morning eh?
I'm sleeping in late probably by the way, like 9 or so. Just fair warning for the chart stalkers out there. ;)

Hoping to see a couple of BFPs in here tomorrow morning!
Ditto that!
lee, 7 DPO isn't too early.. I think the spotting is a good sign!
Jess, I hope the cramping is part of your early signs. My fingers are still crossed. Try with your first morning one.

Hi girls!
Thanks TM for the new thread!
Annette Hope you were able to get your appt moved up.
missy Sorry AF showed.
mel Hope your DH feels better soon!
raven Hope you find a dr you like that will deliver at the hospital you want.
kanga Sorry the town didn't leave a good impression on you.
dancn Hope your interview went well today!
Diane Hope you get more than low readings soon!
sparkle Great FPS! Let's hope all 3 of us get BFP's tomorrow!
JLR Weird your bbs are still sore. Hope you don't O late this cycle! Also the Provera will make your temp look like you O'd because it's progesterone and tricks your body into thinking you O'd, so that "O" on your last chart may just be from the meds.
Jay Yay for dr confirmation tomorrow!
t3h Crossing my fingers for you tomorrow too! Hope the cramping goes away and that tonight's test was just due to drinking too much water.
lee I really hope that's implant spotting!
OK as for me, I'm driving myself nuts today. Been having some FPS's, but they could be my imagination. Such as having to pee about every 2 hours (tried to make it 3hours this evening and almost didn't make it to the bathroom in time!) but I've also been drinking more water than usual today. (very thirsty! is that a pg symptom? :p ) Also had a few mild bouts of feeling extra warm and somewhat queasy... but it's when I was really thinking about this and getting nervous/excited, so maybe I was just working myself up. Also no trace of spotting yet, and that usually starts a few days before AF. Anyway, I'm trying not to obsess (but it's not working) because I don't want to be disappointed. But I did get 2 Equate and 2 FRER tests today so I'll start testing in the morning!

Go, girls, go!!!
Can't wait to see what happens in the am!!

I have a good feeling about this month!!

Thanks for the new thread!!
Jess I am so hoping that your temp stays up. Hopefully it was just a crappy test and not diluted enough urine.
ABirney ~ I have been thirsty like crazy also! I keep having hot flashes and I have the WORST acid stomach and burps tonight. I am also worried that I am just getting myself worked up over nothing. Keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow!
I will be 11dpo tomorrow and will test unless my temp dumps. I can't wait to see if any of us has any luck!
I'm on the west coast so I won't be checking in until around 6:30ish my time.

FWIW, I've been ridiculously thirsty as well, drinking tons of water, peeing non-stop. Because of the pregnancy? Maybe. Who knows. I can speculate all day. :)
Test! Test!

Thanks Missy for the new thread!
T3, sparkle and ABirney - fingers crossed you ladies are going to start our June off with 3 more BFPs. What a week that would be!!
lee - ohhh brown spotting sounds promising! Implantation can be anywhere from 4-10 DPO. usually around day 7 so that's a great sign!
CD14 and DH is finally feeling better!! Slight line on OPK so I am guessing I may get the first positive tomorrow.
Here's to a great June with lot more BFPs!!! Lots of BABYDUST ladies!
ABirney
06-01-2007, 05:15 AM
Well my temp went down a little bit and I had a glaring BFN. I probably won't test tomorrow but we'll see what happens Sunday.
Good luck to the rest of the testers!!!

ABirney - Sorry for the BFN. :(
Well, I got the job offer yesterday and turned it down. I hate to do that but DH and I decided that the town was not a good fit for us so we are going to keep looking.
sea74
06-01-2007, 05:46 AM
ABirney Sorry for the BFN. Stinky AF!
Kanga: I know that it must suck to turn down the job offer, but if the town's not right, in the long run it was a good idea. This just means something better is right around the corner for you and DH!
Mel: I also got my first "slight" line on the OPK last night and this morning my CBEFM reading was still High, but the line on the test stick was also getting darker. I know you're not supposed to "read" the stick after you take it out, but I've started checking them anyway.
raven: I've heard that other women are really thirsty before they get their BFP :)
sparkle: looking forward to west cost time ;)
t3h: hope the cramping went away.
ME: got a slight line last night on the OPK and CBEFM is still high but when I look at the test strip after it's done, that line is getting darker too! Should get my Peak tomorrow or the day after at the latest.
My temp did a little dive this morning but I think that's because it was the first time we slept w/the ceiling fan on. Based on teh OPK and CBEFM I don't think it's the "pre O dip"
Happy Friday Ladies! :D

06-01-2007, 06:04 AM
Good morning ladies! Thanks so much to those who weighed in on my spotting. No spotting today so far and my temp is still up where it should be. I am only 8DPO so its way too early to speculate :)
AbirneySo sorry about the BFN :( But it is still pretty early to get a + and your temp is still up there - a slight drop does not have to mean anything. Hang in there and keep us posted!
Kanga - sounds like you made a good (but tough) decision not to take the job. But congrats on getting the offer - that must have felt nice!
Sea and Mel It sounds like you two will be Oing just in time for the weekend - I always like it when my O falls on a weekend :) Good luck catching the egg!
T3HI hope the cramping is not AF!

ABirney~Sorry about the BFN. Heres hoping it was just to early.
lee60657~I really think that must have been implatation spotting for you. I hope this is it for you!!!
sea74~You should have a fun weekend of lots of bding. I here you about the fan, I had mine pointed on me all night as well.
melandtim~I hope you catch that egg this weekend!!!
Th3~Do you recall Delsol, she said she thought AF was goign to come any minute and ended up with a BFP....I have a good feeling for oyu.
Not much new here at all. Just sitting here at CD 14. DH and I were pretty crazy this week. Doing the bding before we were even close to o'ing. So he is alreayd getting all excited, thinking I am pg. I had to tell him that he better slow down, because he is going to get bored by the time we really need to bding. He is just so cute though. He said there is no wya he will ever get bored, he is stuch with me for life. To cute. Anyhow, got up in a panic this am. I took some bedryl lastnight because my allergies were kicking my a$s. So I was totally out of it this am, and go tup like 20 min late. So I forced myself to stay in bed late and take my temp. I have to get back into this. I really need to know when i o'.

Congrats Sparkle! Don't feel guilty that we aren't going along with you. :)
I'm definitely out. BFN this morning, temp drop, and cramping is increasing quite a bit. I do think that the egg fertilized and implanted this cycle, but it just wasn't sticky. I've never had such a good feeling before for a cycle, and then all of a sudden it disappear for no reason (before the cramping started up).
Oh well, I guess it's on to injectibles for us. Man that still scares me some.

This is so true, I seriously thought AF was coming, temp was down, had cramps and I even bought OPKs on ebay Friday night, Saturday I got my BFP.
sparkle&shine ~ Congratulations! Happy & Healthy 9 Months!
ABirney ~ Sorry about the BFN, I'm hoping it was too early.

Angie, boo to the BFN. Keep us posted. I’ll be sneaking peeks at your chart this weekend!
kanga, things happen for a reason. It’s good that you realized that the town wasn’t for you BEFORE you invested time and money into things.
sea, just reading that frequent peeing is an early sign too. Weird. Thought that would be later with more pressure. Good luck with catching the egg this weekend!

Diane: You can look at my old charts (but forget last month, I only got highs) and see when I got my peak reading in relation to my O date. I would get peak right before Oing.
I I remember correctly, I think only 1 month I got a low reading at the beginning of my cycle. Other than that I've started out with highs for a few days. I think this new cycle I'm on I'm getting more high days than usual. I think I"m going to O a little late this month, maybe around CD 11-12?

sea ~ It sounds like it's time to get to BDing! I wish I could share some of my fertility with you!
lee ~ Ohhh sounds like it could have been implantation spotting!
dancn ~ I hope that you guys can keep up with the BD fest and catch that egg!
JennZ ~ Super strength Baby Dust to you!
Jess ~ I am seriously so bummed out. All I kept thinking about last night was how excited I am for you. I am so hoping that it was a fluke and AF doesn't show.
Diane ~ I wish I could share some of my fertility with you. I am rubbing the screen and sending baby dust through the internet! I hope that you O soon!
katie ~ Thanks, I feel a bit guilty that we got PG so easily again. I really do hope that my body cooperates this time!
I know that I am going to go crazy because I tested so early. The line really is much better in person. I am hoping that it just gets darker and darker. I know that I won't really believe it until Monday when AF is late or until I get a great line.
I am sending you guys to most super powered ~~*BABY DUST*~~ ever.
Wanted to add...
I am a bit superstitious so I did everything the same as I did when I got PG before.
Pomegranate Juice on CD 14 and I know that some will laugh but I literally rub those fertility statues on the first page everyday. I even went so far as to go to the official Riley's page (http://www.ripleysf.com/ripley/exhibits/Fertility.html) about the statues. I guess it is all just dumb luck though.

Sea~I know what you mean. Its just so crazy how its so easy for some. Do you wnat to here a really Sad and Sick story. I was watching the news lastnight, in Chicago. There was a lady who called the ambulance to her house for excessive bleeding. Well they took her to the hospital to find out she had a baby, she denied it the whole way. Well the paramedics went back and found the baby boy tied up in a garbage bag in the closet. How sick is that. And IL has a new rule where you can leave your baby at any firestation, or shopital or police station, no questions asked. How sick is this person. Just give the baby up if you can't handle it, Don't kill it. Then to top the BS off about this, she hasn't even been charged with a criminal act. How about attempted murder. Made me so sick to see this lastnight. Knowing what some of us are going through, it wanted to make me puke!!

hey, I wanted to add myself for this month and hope you guys will have some advice... here is my info:
CC Name: helen22
Me: helen/31
DH: michael/37
Married since: 2004
Off BCP since: n/a
TTC since: 5/2007
Charting since: 12/2006 (sort of...)
Known issues/test results: none
Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/98478
Current status: waiting to O (AF started today - boo)
and here is my weird situation - I seem to have a strangely inconsistent LP. if you look at my ff page you can see two charts; one (4/30/07) is my most recent cycle TTC - my LP was ~14 days (had some spotting starting 3 days ago, but AF didn't really start until today). my usual LP is much shorter - see previous chart (4/1/07) when I was TTA while we were on vacation, where my LP was 10 days. anyone have something similar? so far the two cycles where we have really tried to time BD correctly - this last one and one in December - have both had these really long LPs (the December one was 16 days). months where we are TTA, my cycle is v regular with a 9-10 day LP.
so my questions are...could these be v short chemical pregnancies? (never got a BFP with either of them, but I didn't get my BFP for my first DD until DPO 17, so wondering if the tests aren't sensitive enough for me). is there something I should do differently? I started taking B6 today, and am going to see an accupuncturist next Wed. any thoughts and advice very welcome!!
OK now I am going to catch up on the previous posts so I can get to know everyone.
thanks!!

Same here! I bought the lifetime VIP membership back in 2005, then only charted for 2 cycles before getting PG! "What a waste!" I thought. Well, as it turns out, I'm getting my FF money's worth two years later during this odyssey known as TTC #2.

Welcome Helen!
I also have luteal phases that vary from 10-14 days. I don't know why. I did find out I had low progesterone, so that would explain the short LP, but not the long ones.
Hope your stay is short and sweet!

Does anyone use www.saveontests.com the ovulation strips?
I thought I had ordered the sticks, but I guess I ordered the strips accidentally.
My question is, which line is the test line? The one closest to the green end, or the other one?
(I know that's a stupid question, but I can't figure it out!!) LOL

Welcome Helen! I hope your stay in here is short. :)
Jenn The one closest to the green in the control line. :)
Cramping has mostly disappeared. Every now and then it'll pop back up for a minute and then disappear again. Weird. No spotting or flow yet. DH of course is being is always optimistic self and thinks that maybe I just drank too much water. That, and I did get up to pee at 5 am, and I tested when I got up at 8 am. I don't think it would make much of a difference, but hey, you never know right? I guess nothing's over until the witch actually shows up. We'll see how tomorrow morning goes I guess. It's just hard for me to be optimistic at all.
We also talked, and if we need another cycle, I'm just doing Femara again. I'm not ready for injectibles and IUIs yet.

t3h: Hoping this is just a random temp drop and your BFP is still waiting for you!
I totally don't blame you for not wanting to do the IUI next month. I've put mine off for two months and I'm so glad I have. At first I wanted to give my body a chance to regroup and also I'm just not emotionally ready for it and all it entails. Also, I kind of have this nudging feeling like God is telling me to hold off. We'll see what this month brings and then IF I need to make a decision for next month, I'll take it from there.

JennZ I came across these instructions if you want more detail - http://babyhopes.com/instructions.html - I think that sounds like the same sort of test. I was going to order some - if anyone's had bad luck ordering from that site pls warn me off :)
also you may be right, I am starting to think I may have low progesterone - going to talk to my MW to see about getting tested. she called me yesterday at work, but since I sit on a trading desk, ah, we couldn't really have a good discussion :o
katiems118, I just starting taking B6 yesterday - wasn't taking them at the time of the odd LPs. really the only difference I can see is TTC v TTA, but I'm sure there is something else going on that I'm missing...
t3h, hope AF stays away

Diane Yay for EWCM, hope you get a peak reading soon!
helen Welcome! Sorry I can't help you with your questions though.
I think I may be out but not entirely sure... I'm having my typical pre-AF tenderness in my lower abdomen but still no sign of spotting at all. Maybe the femara made my O better and my progesterone higher so that I won't spot as much beforehand? Anyway I don't plan on testing tomorrow, but if my temp is still up with no spotting Sunday I'll test then. (AF is due Sunday.)

jess: I'm so sorry. HUGS to you. :(
JayJay: I was in the same boat with EDD when PG with #1. I O'd on cd18, but the doc went by LMP, which made my EDD earlier than I thought it should be. In the end, it only meant a difference of 3 days. All along, the baby was actually measuring on track with the LMP. The weird thing is that my daughter was born exactly on the ovulation based EDD, but she had physical signs after the birth that she was overdue (peely skin). So who knows! My whole point here is that I think I'll always be OK with going by an EDD based on LMP because a couple days here or there doesn't really matter. ;) I'm so happy for you - best wishes!

ABirney ~ Where is your temp! Don't you realize how many people are chart stalking you ;)
Me ~ My temp went down a tad this morning. I think I know why though. I have been much more warm and I didn't use the comforter last night. I normally sleep with a comforter even in the summer but I didn't use it at all. For the last few days I was a bit anal about making sure that nothing would impact my temps so I made sure everything was the same night to night. Last night I said screw it. I got another BFP this morning no BFP glasses needed :D Much better line. I am so freaking excited!

As for me, my temp stayed the same but I'm having red spotting today, so I'm sure AF will be here soon. I'm actually doing much better with it than I thought I would. I really think it's the Femara that made my chart so pretty. (which is good, means that it's helping me O better.) DH and I talked about it today and he will call to see about getting an SA done just to make sure all is ok there. I'll be doing the Femara again this cycle.

Congrats to all the positive tests! I'm only online sporadically, and never really have time for shout-outs- sorry!
I'm on CD 16, and don't know if I O'd or not. I didn't think so, but then I discarded one oddly high temp from last Thursday and then FF said that I O'd 4 days ago. The weather here has been really hot, and I didn't make any specific notes about Thursday, but it's possible that something happened to make my temp higher than it should have been. This is my chart with the odd temp discarded:
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1a83e6
My cycles are usually 26 or 27 days long, and I usually get EWCM around CD 12ish, so that would fit the O date they gave me. This month we've been BD'ing more than before so I haven't been able to "read" my CF at all really, so I was just looking for a temp jump. I don't know whether to believe FF or not, I guess if I stay up above that coverline for the next couple of days I will...

ABirney, Sorry about spot. Hope everything turns out ok with DH.
Bamboo, Hmm. It seems a bit odd to still have that much EW after O. I'd be more inclined to discard Wednesday's temp and count O from Thurs on. Maybe you're just having a slow rise. Are your temps usually pretty low even after O? Give it another couple of days to see what they do.
bamboo
06-03-2007, 07:18 AM
raven- my temp shot up this morning so FF moved my O date to CD14 (Thursday, like you said!). I haven't charted since before I had DD, so this is all new for me (I'm assuming my body works differently somewhat so previous charts wouldn't really apply, especially since I'm still breastfeeding). I didn't actually have any EWCM this cycle that I could determine- I kept entering "watery" on FF because that seemed closest but really it seemed like it wasn't CF but rather uh, DH's deposits since we were BD'ing every day. Things definitely seemed to dry up around CD15, which would fit with their new O date. This stuff is tricky to figure out!

Just a quick check in! Weekend has been crazy and this coming week will also be very busy.
I got a + OPK this morning but CBEFM is still reading High. I looked at the stick when I took it out of the monitor and it both lines were nearly equally dark. I'll have to see what happens tomorrow. I did reset my monitor so it shouldn't be looking for the highs I got on clomid. We'll see. But I think today is CD11 so this means I'm Oing late this month. I've also had NO EWCM this month which is starting to worry me. :( I'm chugging the green tea and have been for while. I'm glad I have the preseed in the house.
Hope you're all having wonderful weekends!

sea,
I bet you get a Peak tomorrow.
Did you do them at the same time, or the OPK later in the day?
We used the preseed this month, too. I had virtually no EWCM on the Clomid, so I'm really glad I had ordered it.

sea,
Maybe you'll get another + OPK tomorrow and the monitor is just waiting for a higher level of LH before it shows Peak? Maybe?
I will be interested to see what the monitor does tomorrow!

AF just stopped yesterday. I've made a dr appt to get another round of Clomid, but I think I'm going to wait. I think we're going to try without Clomid. AF is coming on her own now (this is the 2nd month) so maybe I'll O on my own. I won't know until I try.

Sea - hope you get that peak reading soon!
T3 - I am so sorry :( (((HUGS)))
Bamboo - I think a couple more temps may give you a clearer picture of when you O'd. SInde your temp shot up yesterday it may be that you O'd Saturday.
ABirney - I am hoping that spotting stopped
JLR - wow still sore BB's. That cannot be fun. Hope you O soon!
dancn - hope you O soon!
Sparkle - yay for the darker line!!!
CD17 and no O yet but positive OPK the last 2 days. With the sharp pains around my right ovary and a little spotting this morning I think I am O'ing today. That would make it a day earlier than last month. :) I think my body is just really slowly adjusting to being normal.

mel: Our cycles seem to be on the same schedule! Good luck!
sea: I bet you'll get your peak this morning. Any news? Today my +OPK & peak monitor reading coincided, so how strange that your monitor only said "high" yesterday.
May: Good luck w/out the clomid!
Jenn: How's the 2WW going? I busted out the Preseed yesterday morning, too! ;)
bamboo: Welcome! Best wishes in the 2WW!
Me: I got a Peak reading this morning on my CBEFM! I still have some Answer OPKs left over from the last few cycles, so I decided to start using those yesterday just as a cross-check since this is my first cycle using the CBEFM. I also got a + OPK this morning. I hate it when this happens on a work day for me because then I have to wait until tonight to get home to DH! Please wish us luck.
I think it's interesting that I only got two high readings before my peak reading. I thought I'd have more than that for some reason. Any insight?

Hi Ladies! It's nice to be back! As usual, I wonder why there is no activity in our thread until I realize we are onto a new month and new thread! :)
Congratulations Sparkle!
t3h and ABirney...Boo on the BFN :( Hopefully this will be a luckier month for all of us!
Me: Still in the 'what the bleep is going on' category. On CD61, which is the longest cycle I have ever had, yet. It does look like I ovulated due to the unquestionable temp rise (with no attempt to catch it...that egg would have been OLD!) If I am making correct assumptions, AF should be here early next week. I can't wait, because this last cycle was horrendous and a total wash...prolonging my progesterone tests and hsg. I am very anxious to get a new cycle here, pronto.

Jess - I'm so sorry. I was really thinking this was it for you.
May - I hope a cycle without Clomid helps. It doesn't hurt to take a cycle off now and again and just let nature take its course.
Heidi - I'm so sorry you're have a long and confusing cycle. Here's hoping next week bring AF and a fresh start!
Me - Well, I put in another application over the weekend for a new job, same company, same town. DH and I decided that if I get this job we will definately buy a house. We're both tired of living in rentals because our neighbors are always party people. I really hope this works out because I think we'll both feel more "at home" when we have a place that is ours (and we've already got a place picked out that we'd like to go see). Oh yeah, please move me toThink I O'd testing 6/10-6/16. It will definately be more toward the end of that week.

lee,
Your chart is looking very nice!!
Diane,
I usually get one or two High readings before my Peak days. I think that is totally normal for the monitor to be that "smart". At least I feel like I'm getting my money's worth if it can narrow my fertile days down to four. You know?
Good luck! It always stresses me out, too when the Peak is on a work day! I'm paranoid that I'm going to miss it. But in reality, there's plenty of time!!
(This coming from a person who made their DH come home at lunchtime last week because I was POSITIVE I felt O pains!!) LOL :D
kanga,
Good luck with the job!
Heidi,
Man, what a strange cycle! I hope AF shows so you can get on with the testing!

Me11DPO with my highest temp EVER. A nice dip at 9DPO along with spotting...please cross your fingers for me :) Tomorrow's temp is crucial. If I am pg this month, my EDD is Feb. 14 (2 days past my EDD with DD!). I am trying to keep it in check, but I have to admit I am sort of excited. TTC is SUCH an emotional rollercoaster:rolleyes: I am also worried about another chemical pg.....I am SO tempted to call my dr if my temp is high tomorrow and see if she will see me - I am worried about low progestrone - can they give me something now if it is low? Or is it too late?
JennZ
06-04-2007, 07:48 AM
lee,
They can give you a blood test for progesterone and start you on suppositories right away if the results are low. It's definitely not too late to start the progesterone. Some docs don't even prescribe it until pg has been confirmed, but it won't hurt you to use it even if you aren't pg.
BUT, I think you are pg!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck!!
(My DS2 was also born in February, so I'm partial to Feb as well!!)

Threadmistress ~ I'm ready to graduate.
We told my mom & sister yesterday and will tell my dad & step mom this week, then my INLs on Saturday.
I couldn't keep it a secret any longer after I heard my sister's news, she’s pregnant and due in January. Of course after that I told DH I wanted to tell my mom and he knew I wouldn't last very long keeping quiet. So we're only going to tell immediate family and then everyone else will know after my doctor appointment.

Diane: You got your Peak :D And I got mine today, too! Usually you're a week ahead of me. But we got further apart when I had that REALLY long cycle, but then last month I Oed on CD8 and only had an 18 day cycle so now I guess we're cycle buddies! Hope we both catch that egg!
May: Glad AF is on her way out! Hope you get a BFP this cycle w/o the clomid!
Kanga: Good luck w/the job and hope you caught that egg!
dancn: thinking good thoughts for you! Hope you O soon!
Lee: Ohhhh!!!! Things are looking good for you! Hope tomorrow's temp is way high and you get your BFP!!!! :D
Del Sol: Congrats Again!
ME: Well, this morning I got another +OPK and a peak reading! Maybe by Oing late this month I'll get a better egg and we'll conceive? Maybe ;) I can't wait to get home from work and get on DH.
The only bad part is I had to take our kitty to the Vet this morning because he had a goopy eye. Well, it looks like he has a little infection in his mouth so he has to have a procedure. I left him at the Vet and he won't be ready to come home until 7:00. I feel bad for him. We adopted him as an abused kitty about 5 years ago and he's TERRIFIED of people who are not me and DH. The the whole process of going to the Vets is NOT. EASY. I feel even worse for just leaving him there and going to work. He'll be knocked out so hopefully that will make things go by faster for him :(

My Mom had a physical today, a whole workup of everything. She goes every year for her annual. Today, she had her mammo/annual.
They found a large mass in her uterus on the R side. They told my Mom it's about the size of a golf/tennis ball. The nurse wrote on the paper-a large adema/mass. She's also going through menopause.
She's going in for testing on Thurs. for an ultrasound & then I guess from there, we'll just have to wait. She may have more testing that day. I asked her if she's ever had any discomfort/pain that she's noticed or anything else that's been diff..
Think good thoughts for her. I'm not going to try & over analyze anything until I know futhermore.

Done ;) I'm posting from my bed with my legs elevated by a bunch of pillows.
aka: Thanks! Kitty is doing great!
JLRenheos: Your mom is in my prayers! Keep us updated! As my mom was going through menopause she had some large masses in her uterus and they turned out to be fibrods. They shrunk them but they came back so she had her uterus removed. That was 3-4 years ago and she's going great. Hope this is nothing serious. Keep us posted.
ME: Our kitty is home and doing well, even if he is mad at me right now. The visit cost us $575 and he has two follow up visits and 3 different meds. I guess even though we took the month off of fertility meds, we're still paying doctors bills
TMI Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DH would KILL me if he knew I was posting this. So we were DTD and the Stanley Cup Finals were on in the background. Just as DH was finishing up, the announcer yells, "He shoots! He scores!" It was all I could do to not laugh. But as soon as DH was done we both laughed and at the same time we bot yelled "he scored!" It was pretty funny. Then DH said, "you know, if it's a boy, we'll have to name him Stanley." Tee-hee. Hopefully we did score and win!

Diane~ after you get 2 peak days you can stop with the sticks even if it prompts you for another..it will probably prompt you for one or two more sticks until you go back to low...but you got what you wanted...use an OPK, since they are cheaper, but when i used the monitor I never fed it any more sticks after I got my 2 days of peak readings...I too think the sticks cost a small fortune. :D

Still waiting for AF to show up. Been spotting since Saturday (pink) and my temp is down. Was expecting her to show Sunday but maybe the Femara is lengthening my lp? I got my Femara for the coming cycle yesterday. Hope AF shows soon so I can get started! I also called the clinic re: getting DH in for an SA. They said we can just pick up a kit anytime and then just let the lab know when he is bringing in the sample so they can be expecting him. So we'll probably do that this week sometime.

Thanks to everyone for the good thoughts for my Mom. It means a lot.:) I'll keep you all posted when I do hear anything.
sea thanks for the reassurance & the info. you told me about your Mom. That helps. BTW, the story you posted was waaaay to funny! Hey, it can't be to serious all the time, right?!:p Don't you hate when you forget to temp or temp. waay later than usual? I hope you catch the egg!
DianeCourt omg, is your Mom o.k.? I sure hope it's not anything serious. I'm glad the CB monitor is working out for you! I hope this is your last cycle ttcing. Good Luck & I hope you catch the eggie.:)
lee I'm so sorry this cycle was such a bust for you. Hugs.
ABirney I'm sorry that Af showed up. How disappointing. I hope you recieve good news back from the SA. 4th of July would be a great time to test then!-I hope it works out in your favor!!
katiems sorry to see you take a break. We would love to still hear from you on occasion.;) I hope the Dr. appt. w/the urologist goes well & that you'll get some answeres. I wish you well.
dancn Good luck w/O in the next week. I'm right there w/you for my cycle as well. I hope this happens for us both! ;)
-I've noticed that I've been crampy a little yesterday & today. Today is cd#19.
My temp. went down on Monday below 97.0 and I wonder if I might've O'ed??. FF hasn't called anything yet. I also had ewcm that day too.
Today's temp. went up. With my first cycle (3/7), my coverline was at 97.05 & it was clear that I had O'ed. DH is working 2nd shift tonight, so we hope to cover our bases, just in case. ;) Also, my bbs are *still* tender & have been since I've taken the Provera(a month ago). uugh.
-What do you think? Several more temps. & I shall know.

Katie - hope the urologist can figureout what's going on (((HUGS))). Hope you will be back with us really soon.
ABirney - darn that AF :( Sorry she showed :(
JLR - I think a couple more temps will give you a better idea.
dancn - yay for some EWCM!!! Go catch that egg!
sparkle - good luck to you! Hope to be joining you in the Feb mommies thread!
Sea - you are too funny!! Hope you were able to get some BD time in :p
lee - hope your temp jumps back up today.
Diane - hope you caught that egg!
CD19 and my temp was slightly down today. Tomorrow's temp will determine if FF calls my O. With the pain and spotting I am sure I did on Monday. I think the lower temps are because DH is leaving the fan on and I am waking up freezing cold.

sea, your Stanley Cup story was cute! And totally something my DH and I would've done too. ;) Hope this is the one!
mel, hope you O'd!
Diane, yay for the 2WW!
kanga, you totally would. Hope it's a good town name. ;)
lee and Angie, I'm sorry about AF.
me, I guess I will do the graduating thing as well. My temps are still way up, no AF and another, darker BFP. My first appt. is July 3. I hope this one's a sticky kid. *{{Baby Dust}}* for everyone. I hope we squeeze some more winter baby BFP's out of everyone the next few weeks! ;)

katie: HUGS! I'm sure that news was kind of upsetting to hear. But I'm so glad you'll be in here cheering us on :D Don't give up either! Like polkadot said, her DH had the same issue and her baby boy will be making his appearance shortly!
Also, did you get my PM about Chicago?
Diane: I'm trying not to worry about the temp. I think I'm going to put a "fake" temp in. Today's temp was a high "after O" temp so I'm pretty sure that I Oed.
I wonder if your DHs are in the same league. I get the feeling we live kind of close to each other. My DH golfs at Fieldstone on Tuesday's.
JLRenheos I hope you Oed and caught the egg! A few more days temp will tell!
Mel: hope you caught the egg! I think it's great that your body is getting things back to normal. That's got to be a good feeling. Hope tomorrow's temp give you clarity about the O date.
Happy Graduation day Raven! and thanks for the baby dust! I'm lurking in on ALL the graduates in the different due date threads.
Missy: Thanks for doing all these updates! Work is just kicking my butt lately! Can't wait until things slow down at the end of July.
ME: Well, from today's temp I know I Oed. I think I'm going to put a "fake" temp in for yesterday. We tried to time everything "perfectly" but I think we're going going to get a "good" rating and not a "high" rating from fertility friend. But that's okay, right? We only need one good swimmer. I trying to be positive about our chances but I just don't have a strong feeling about this month. But I'm going to not let that stop me for being hopeful for a BFP soon. I'm not trying to be a downer, but it's just my "gut." I totally hope I'm wrong though. And if we are PG this month, I might be able to get an early BFP on Father's day. Wouldn't that be cool? And the baby would be due right around DH's birthday.
I think I'm ready to do the IUI next month if this month isn't ours.
Hope everyone's doing well!

HI everyone
Sea~I have a good feeling this is your month. Just keep your head up, beleive me, I know its bad to say that, because if someone told me, I would be angry because this whole thing is such a rollercoaster of emotions, but it will happen for you. I know it!
Mel~We are pretty much close to the same cycle here. I hope we both get those BFP's on the same day much less. HOw awesome woudl that be!!!
Diane~I hope you caught that egg.
OKay, as for me. I am carious on something. I had major what i think were o pains lastnight, but my temp was up just a bit today. So could I have o'd lastnight, and my temp only went up a bit because itw as like in the middle of oing. Yeah, Iknow I am pulling at strings here, but I am just really carious. Anyhow, DH and I have been covering our days pretty well. For some reason, I have a really good feelign about this month. I don't know what. Probably because when I will test, DH will be GONE on his annual boy family fishing trip. SO I would find out when he is gone, which would be a good thing to hold over his head for going (I get jealous when he goes, and I am sitting at home!). Anyhow, somethign about things have changed for me. I am at a differnt location working, and this girl otu here just had a baby, and she had him in yesterday, and just lookign at him totally made me decide I am SO OOO ready for this. Before I use to just be liek okay, if it happens it happens, but now, I WANT THIS LIKE NOW!!! So I just hope this works out!!:D

sea: DH golfs up in Holly on Tuesday nights, but we live, oh, about a mile from Fieldstone! :)
dancn: I hoping the best for you!
JLR & mel: You just may have O'd....waiting for FF to call it is hard, isn't it? I'm so impatient.
Please move to I think I O'd, testing Wednesday 6/20 if AF hasn't arrived by then. The CBEFM didn't ask me for a stick this morning and just gave me a high reading, so I'm pretty confident that I O'd yesterday. I won't be temping, so sorry that there's nothing to stalk!

Man I'm hopelessly behind in here too!
Sea Don't let that gut feeling get to you too much, as hard as that is. I know many people who have been trying as long as us who got pg on a "low" rating from FF. All it takes into account is how many times you DTD around ovulation. Hopefully neither of us has to move on to IUIs next month. :)
Dancn It's amazing how much seeing a newborn strengthens the want of having one yourself isn't it? I really hope this is the month for you!

Mel-Fingers crossed for FF to call O for you!
Katie-I'm sorry about those results but it seems like it is definitely something is fixable!

CONGRATS! CONGRATS! CONGRATS! PELICAN! What did your DH say? I'm thrilled for you! Take extra good care of yourself mama!
Not that this compares to Pelican's FAB news, but dancn: Here's some more drama to help you pass the day!
Today a coworker who is a HUGE gossiper and very much snaky came into my office and sat down to shoot the Sh!t. Now, her and I are not super close (see above for the reason why). After maybe two sentences of small talk (trying to figure out how much $$$ my DH makes  ) she asks if I’m PG or trying to get PG. She said that I’m dressing a little differently (um, no) and also I look like I’ve lost some weight (a little because I’m not on clomid and while on it I gained about 10 lbs Now that I'm off the drugs the weight is falling off).
So I just caught off guard and just said that we’ve been trying and are under the care of a doctor. She didn’t skip a beat and asked for details. I just gave them because honestly at this point I don’t care at all about people knowing. I’ve found so much support from people who do know and besides it’s not like I have something to be ashamed of. Then she goes on to tell me about a friend of hers who was on meds and was “just a complete waked out B!tch” because of them. I calmly explained to her that it was not wonder her friend was “out of control” I said by the time you’re doing injectibles you’ve most likely been trying for awhile and you’re on edge because this thing that you want more than anything might not happen for you. You’re on edge because you’re spending God knows how much $$$, you’re obsessed about timing and temperatures and THEN it’s topped off by tons of extra hormones being pumped into your body.
It seemed to click for her at that point, but who really knows. Then she said her friend adopted to siblings from Russia and THEN got PG. At least she was smart enough to now say, see … just relax!
Okay. Anyone else want to share?

Sea~Lets see, how can you handel a nasty person like that. I have already delt wtih an idiot like that. Its like come on people, get a clue. Okay so you want to here something else along these lines. Are whoel family keep pressuring us on the whole kid thing, and we keep telling people that we are NEVER goign to have kids, just to piss them off, you know what I mean. THe other day I was up visiting my grandma, and my mom and sister was up there, and the little baby sound went off, meaning someoen had a kid in teh hospital. My mom was like okay so when am I going to here that noise for you, and I said never, nad my mom asked why?? My sister then decided to make the comment that "The swimmers are to drunk the get there". Meaning obvuiously that my DH's little guys are to alcholed up to get there. Okay, now DH likes his beer. But by no means is he an acocholic. And it really pissed me off because we are having issues right now, and they are NOT his fault obviuosly, since the test came back that he is "perfect", as my dr. put it. Wow, after that, i just got up and walked away. She's and idiot.

06-06-2007, 01:36 PM
Sea~I know what you mean. DH and i had a conversation about it one day, because his mom always askes when she sees me, and he said I should jsut start saying that we are practing for when we decide we are!!!;) Nothing like that to shut her up. As fas as my sister is concerened, she is jsut an idiot, and obvusiouly very unhappy with her life. So whatever....I just know what to say to here when she finds that guy and is trying.....What coems around goes around.

Hi everyone. Hope I can pop in here even though I'm probably in the 2 WW (I think I'm 2 DPO today). I'm on cycle 2 and round 1 of 50 mg of Clomid. Both my kids are clomid babies. I CAN O on my own, but if I do, it can take anywhere from 7 weeks to 3 months. Last cycle was a LOOONG cycle and I did O on my own, and we had great timing, but no BFP. So here we are on cycle 2 (and month 3).
CC Name: Eliezrah
Me: Lisa, 32 but 33 on Saturday
DH: Scott, 33
Married since: 8/11/02
Off BCP since: 4/2/07
TTC since: 4/2/07

Known issues/test results: Possible PCOS, 2 clomid babies

We're off to meet with a realtor this morning to look at houses. We had one we REALLY wanted to see only to find out that the current owners rented it out last month and let the tenants sign a one year lease. Who lets tenants sign a lease on a house that is for sale? So now we're just looking at what's available. The web pictures don't look too promising but we're not in a big hurry.

I'm at work now, so quickly:
Welcome Eliezrah! Hopefully we can be in the same mommies group again soon! I can't believe what you told us about FF! That's ridiculous! I'll BBL to catch up with the rest of you.

OMG Annette!!!!!! I had no clue you were on CC at all!!!!!!!! How are you doing? I haven't really told too many people we're TTC #3 since we don't want the family to find out. I only posted about it on another board I'm on. Wow, it's been YEARS since we were on a message board together! LOL Yeah FF got all weird. They said I broek the rules by mentioning another website. Stupid! I can still chart and stuff, but have no community privleges!
May27, I don't want to have to pay for anohter software. I tired Ovusoft for the 14 day trial and didn't liek it s much as FF anyway.
Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Charlotte, congrats on officially graduating!

Hi girls, I could really use your expertise at looking at my chart. The background - I had very long and wacky cycles where I didn't ovulate the first time we TTC. Took us over a year and Clomid for me to get pregnant with #1. So in April, I went off BCP to see what my body was going to do this time around and prepare to TTC. I started charting again and it seemed pretty obvious that I wasn't O'ing. I stopped temping for a few days, I just got lazy. Well after the 6 day break, I started again temping and lo and behold, there had been a temp jump. DH and I had DTD during that time, so there was chance I could have been PG. But I have no idea when/if I O'd. I had bloodwork done at my OB's office and the pregnancy test came back BFN. I have felt all crampy for the past two days, like AF is coming. My OB's office prescribed Prometrium to induce AF, but I am nervous to take it because I feel like AF should be coming. She hasn't and my temp isn't going down. I don't know what to make of my chart and the days I stopped charting certainly don't help. Due to that break, I don't know you really can make much of it, but if anyone wants to give it a try, I'd be most appreciative. Here is a link to it, TIA!!
Oh, and the discrepancy numbers post-break are because I was temping a little later than I had been. But even the post-break temps taken at the old time are high, so I don't think it has too much bearing. Prior to the break, I'd been temping anywhere from 6AM - 6:30AM; post break, it was at 6:45AM.

Sasha: I don't think you have your chart linked right because when I click on it, I get MY chart.
Try and going to the left side of the screen there is a button called SHARING. click on there then go to HOME PAGE SET UPThne you'll see a plce that says YOUR CHARTING HOME PAGE WEB ADDRESS. Copy that and then paste it here.
In the meantime, because you are NOT sure when you may have Oed, *I* would not take anything to induce my period. I'd wait it out another week just to be sure. Because in the back of my head I'd always wonder. But that's just me. If AF in not here in 7-10 days and you're still not getting AF, then I'd take the stuff.

My Mom had her appt. today. We won't know anything maybe until sometime next week, unless the Drs. read the ultrasound tomorrow. I'll keep you All updated! Of course, the ultrasound tech. isn't at liberty to say anything.
I sure hope to see some BFPs in here in a few short weeks! There are quite a few good looking charts out there so far!
Sea74 I'm with you to. I'm just dying over here to see if/when FF is going to call 'O' for me for dpo. Good luck w/this cycle!
Ladies, what do you think of my temp. so far? Today I had some ewcm, but I don't know if it's from the previous bd.
sea74
06-07-2007, 12:26 PM
JLRenheos: Hope tomorrow you get a good report from your mom's doctor.
As far as you Oing. I'm not sure? Your older charts seem to show O with a lot of early temps over the coverline, but are you sure you really Oed then? I'm *SO* not an expert in that area unless there is an OBVIOUS temp rise. Maybe someone else will have something more intelligent to say about it. But even if you're not sure about the EWCM, BD until you are sure you're "dry."
Have you gotten any positive OPKs?
Sasha

Ooops, sorry about that! Here is the correct link, thanks! Fixing it in original post as well. :o

Probably the reason why I don't have any temps. above the coverline for this cycle, is because I've been sleeping with our ceiling fan on high & have been for the last month(I've been keeping notes on FF). In March, we didn't have the fan on then. This is what I'm assuming anyhow. Yes, we still are continuing to bd.;) I think this cycle is kinda showing some similarities to my very 1st cycle(3/7). FF said that the next 2 days are going to be crucial for me, since they are supposed to be my most F time.
Unfortunately, I'm not using OPKs. If this cycle doesn't work out, then I might try them. I also have a DRs. appt. next week for my annual, so I'm sure I'll talke to my Dr. then. BTW, my bbs are *still* sore & have been since I took the provera almost 5 weeks ago. I dont' know what the heck is going on.

06-07-2007, 12:48 PM
Another question- what would you guys do in this situation? DD was waking up every two hours last night (thank you 2 year molars  ), so when I woke up at 5:45 this morning, I'd only been asleep for an hour and 45 minutes at that point. I temped, and got 98.1, which I'm sure is too high. Should I just not enter it in FF at all, or enter it anyway and just keep in mind it's not accurate? I'm 7DPO according to FF, so I don't know that it matters that much- I'm thinking I shouldn't enter it at all.
sea74
06-07-2007, 01:09 PM
Bamboo At least in this case you're already past O so it's not *as* crucial to get a super accurate temp (at least in my eyes). I'd enter the temp and either tell FF to "disregard it" or you can click on the box "sleep deprived" and it will also flag it. Good luck!
JL:
BTW, my bbs are *still* sore & have been since I took the provera almost 5 weeks ago. I dont' know what the heck is going on. The first cycle I stopped clomid my BBs also hurt the whole month. I think it's just still in your system a little and that's what's causing it? Also the first 1/2 of my cycle my BBs were sore when I had taken progesterone the month before. It's probably just due to that.
sasha: Checked out your chart. I'll stick w/my orig. post and say give it a few more days before taking it just to be sure.

Sasha, I'd assume you Oed during the break and not take any meds until either AF comes or you get a BFP.
Bamboo, I've also had times wehre I got less than 3 hours sleep thanks to the kids. I did what sea74 suggested and put in the temp with the time I took it then marked Sleep Deprived. FF gave me an open circle for those times.

Hi girls,
I'm still in shock over Pelican's triplets!! I was trying to imagine what that would be like to hear, and I just can't even fathom it!! Wowzee!! :)
Welcome Eliezrah! Hope your stay is short and sweet! We have had quite a run of new members getting their BFP in the first one or two months, so maybe you can ride their coattails into the pg thread!!
ABirney,
Poor DH! I know my DH was horrified to even walk through the hospital carrying a bag with the cup in it. He was sure everyone knew what was in the bag! I told him he could have done his thing at the office, but the thought of that stressed him out, too!
kanga,
Good luck house hunting! We jsut moved in December, and I actually really enjoyed the looking part.
dancn,
It looks like you could have O'd Wednesday or even Tuesday. I'm sure FF will probably give you crosshairs tomorrow.
sea,
Have fun at the shower! My mom started dating someone last summer and they are starting to talk about marriage. A little weird. But I guess if she's happy that is the important thing. I really don't want her to be lonely the rest of her life.
When are you planning on testing?
JL,
Thinking about you and your Mom. Hope everything is okay!
Well, I got my progesterone results back today.
Last month- 4.2
This month 24.1 !!! Hurray!!
So at least I O'd this month!
Hope everyone has a good evening! :)

JennZ My Fingers are crossed for you! So far so good! Glad to hear that your results concluded that you O'ed this month!
BTW, thanks for the good thoughts about my Mom. I hope you're right!
Gawd, I sure hope my temp. continues to rise. So far, it's been a slow one. I remember FF saying that the 6th, 7th and 8th were crucial fertile days. Also, I've been a little crampy since Monday off & on. Hopefully, I'll O soon.

I keep forgetting to temp this month!! I guess I'm just going to try it on my own this month. I think I'm going to O soon b/c this morning I had a lot of EWCM. That's what that could mean, right? I have a dr's appt today to give her my last months chart so she can see how things went. I'm excited b/c Josh is coming with me so he can learn some stuff. I know he'll feel weird, but he needs to get used to it.

AKACharlotte - I'm so sorry for your loss. We're here for you when you are ready.
Me - Well, house hunting was depressing. There is really only one house even remotely close to our price range that doesn't need MASSIVE amounts of work. Of course, the one house that we both liked has an issue that we need to research but otherwise is large, has no carpet (yay for my allergies), and is a home we could easily live in for 20+ years.

Kanga: sorry the house hunting was not all it could have been. Hopefully something will jump out at you or the issue w/the house you currently like won't turn out to be a big deal.
Heidi:[B]It's nice to see you in here :)
[B]Me: Well, I have crosshairs. FF says I can test on Tuesday the 19th. My EDD would be Feb 26. I'm going to go add myself to the testing group. Here's hoping!

TTC Dumby question...
So does EWCM mean that you could be Oing soon??
Annette
06-08-2007, 07:23 AM
may-EWCM is the most fertile CM so it indicates O is approaching. Temp shift indicates that you did O, so you can't rely on that alone when TTC.

Sea~Yeah I got crosshairs to. Your edd is my b'day. That rocks. I have my fingers crossed for both of us this month. I have a good feeling.
Kanga~Sorry about the house shopping. I hate dealing with big life decisions like that. I am acutally going through some major life changes job wise, and i have no CLUE what I am going to do about it. I will be loosing my job at the end of the month, and I truly have NO idea as to what I will do. But whatever... I want my own dance studio. I am just so scared! So we will see.
Well, I got my crosshairs today as well. My temps just seem a lot lower than usual. When I o, in the past they have gone up to 98.20. Not even close this month. Not to sure if its from the clomid or not, but whatever. As long as it says I o'd that is all that it matters to me. Anyhow, i have to go get a blood test from my progestrone today. I am also getting checked for Lieden V which is a blood clotting disorder. So we will see. My mom has it, so she said we def. need to get checked especilly if either my sister or I are on the pill. My mom wsa on the pill about 5 years ago, and ended up wtih a blood clot in her leg. Luckly she was working for a hopstial, and she told her boss about how her leg was really bothering her, and she told her to go to the ER.
So anyways, I also started a new journal. Check it out.

Ok so I couldnt not know when Im going to O, seriously I tried ignoring it, and yesterday I found EWCM, so I thought well why not do an OPK, since it was CD 13, and non-medicated I usually dont O before CD 16, well it was positive, so I jumped DH last night, (he doesnt know it was +) Who knows, right? Anything could happen. He does have a high count so I figure, why waste another month. I also had to move up my HSG to June 29th, so its a lot sooner than I realized!

akacharlotte, I'm so sorry for your loss. {{HUGS}}
Kanga, good luck house hunting! We had the opposite problem... it took us 16 months to sell our place. In the meantime, we found so many houses that we loved and lost them all.. :-( BUT we finally sold and found an even better house that we're moving into on July 2!
Sasha, good luck with the clomid! Be prepared for hot flashes! I found that they aren't as bad if you take the clomid at night instead of the morning.
sea, if we both get PG them we'd be due only 1 day apart! Ohh maybe we can be PG buddies!!
Diane, ohhh we'd also only be 1 day apart if we both get PG. How cool woudl that be to be in the same due date month again?!
~~
Well I had the strangest, highest temp jump I"ve ever seen for 4 DPO today. It skyrocketed and I'm not sure what it means. I'm only at 4 DPO so I know it's way too early for triphasic. What is the earliest anyoen's ever heard of someone implanting?
Since I can't link my chart, I have to post it for you. Between both my kids and TTC this time, this is my 9th chart. I've never ever had one look like this before with these huge temp jumps!

katiems118 Good girl! I hope this was lucky for you. Since the 20th is about 2 weeks away, MAKE SURE you're NOT PG at the HSG. If there is ANY doubt, push it back.
Mel:
yay there are going to be a whole bunch of us in the 2WW together. Here's hoping we have another slew of BFPs!!!!
Your mouth to God's ear! That would be awesome! :D
DianeCourt Me, too!!!!! I keep clicking on your chart even though I know you're not temping. Just habit I guess! :p
May27JnJ Hope all the marathon BDing pays off.
dancn226 My coverline and pre O temps vary a lot so who knows. Hope all your tests come back a-okay.
ME: I know that I'm only 3dpo and it's FAR too early for FPS but man did I feel sick to my stomach until I ate something at lunch. And it wasn't from skipping breakfast either. I had a smoothie and 1/2 and bagel and cream cheese.
Also, I had almost no EWCM this month (thank God for preseed) but the past two days I'm getting creamy CM. I usually don't get anything CM during the 2ww. If this kind of stuff keeps happening, it's going to be a LONG 2ww.

My poor SIL! She just had a baby 2 weeks ago and apparently she had fractured her ankle but didn't realize it until she was at the hospital giving birth. So now she has to get a cast and she also has a 3.5 yo to watch as well.
