I'm looking for a toaster oven to use in the summer so our house doesn't get too hot when we turn on the oven. I want to spend $100 or less, and I've narrowed it down to either the Cuisinart Toaster Oven/Broiler (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=12924216) or the DeLonghi Large Capacity Toaster Oven (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=14159673).

If you have one of these, what do you think of it? Or if you have another suggestion, I'm open to those as well.

I have the Black and Decker Toast-R-Oven Countertop Oven and Broiler. (http://www.bdappliancestore.com/product_detail.asp?T1=APP+TRO651&SKW=APPTOASTOVEN)

I really like it a lot. We do lots and lots of cooking in it because our apartment (which is really just a floor in the house DH's grandpa owns) does not have a 220 line, hence no real oven or range. It can handle a 9" round cake pan, 6 cupcakes, enough tater-tots for two, and I'm sure a small chicken or chicken legs, though we don't cook meat in it often. I'm sure if you get a large capacity one of any kind, it will work very well. It doesn't heat the place up too bad, either!

I was shopping in the same category, and found the Delonghi had really bad product reviews on Amazon. Based on reviews and it's features, I went with the Oster non-digital six slice. I've had it for a couple months now, and I don't believe I've turned on my 'big' oven - this works fabulously for the two of us.

bump!
My toaster oven is about kick the bucket and I refuse to take it to the new house.

Any recommendations out there?

We bought this one about 2 months ago at Best Buy and we love it! It can do so much more than the average toaster oven, so it was perfect for my small kitchen.

We registered for a Krups toaster oven for our wedding 5 years ago, and it's still going strong! We use it at least once everyday, sometimes more. It was $100 and I think they've since replaced it with newer models. I also have a Krups coffemaker & espresso machine, and I highly recommend any of their products.
