I've been voting for Blake and I thought for sure he was going tonight. I think he'll be better off coming in 2nd but I really don't care who wins just because I. also think it would great to have the beatboxer win.

So to me it really doesn't matter. Next week I'll probably vote once for Blake and that's it.

First, I'll say that Blake and Jordin were my favorites all along. I'm so glad they're both in! But for your poll, I voted for Jordin winning. Like others have said, I think Jordin is a better fit for AI. I would be thrilled for either of them.

I'm not a regular AI viewer, but I've seen a few episodes this year and every time I've thought Blake was just awful. I had no idea how popular he was until I skimmed the CC thread (and I suppose I sort of guessed as he kept not getting eliminated, but earlier on Sanjaya was still there as well, so...).

So I voted for Jordin in this poll.

I voted Jordin. I said it in the other thread, I think Jordin needs the win. Blake (and Melinda) will be fine, if not better off, going out on their own. I can't see them doing well being constrained by AI.

I really like Blake a lot, which is exactly why I don't want him to win.

I voted for Jordin because I just really don't care for Blake's voice or his style of music. I wouldn't mind hearing Jordin's songs on the radio. Blake, however, not so much.

I would think that they would restrain Blake too much if he won. ~ Oh, they'll restrain him either way. Remember Bo?? They completely ruined his CD (at least IMO). They didn't let him use the songs he wrote, except for one, which incidentally was the only one that I really liked. The CD was totally NOT his style of music, but the type of music *they* thought would sell.

They'll still have a major hold over him, even if he doesn't win. But, I guess that's the price they pay for selling their soul to AI! ;)

I read somewhere that Blake has been recording songs all along this season. He was talking about it in an interview. He has about 6 or 7 songs that he says are ready to be released. Apparently, he's been spending the little free time that he has doing this. He was saying some of the songs are collaborations with other contestants.

I like Blake better as a performer, but that's the same reason I don't want him to win. I think he would suffer if he won b/c his style would get squashed by the American Idol constraints.

I don't LOVE Jordin. I think she's okay, and she's had a couple of great performances. But she definitely needs some polishing, which is most likely related to her age.

Overall, I guess I hope she wins only b/c I don't want Blake to get stuck with the AI record. :p

I wouldn't buy Jordin's music, but I would consider buying Blake's.
