Curt got so upset at me the other day when I told him that I'd checked our registry. Little does he know I've checked it more than just once. He was horrified when one night we were in our office and I said "oooh, hey, lets check our registry". He wants it to be a complete surprise. But I *remember* the registry lady saying to check it once in a while to make sure it's kept up to date (that's my excuse, lol)

I know I'm not alone.......

I totally checked out my registries. For my wedding and baby.

I did the same thing. I did it to see if we needed to register for more items. I mostly did it to see what we had coming!

I just want to know when our first gifts are bought...
Not only do I peek at my registry- I peek at yours too, Sarah!

I checked ours pretty regularly and it's a good thing I did; a third of the items on the stupid Crate & Barrel registry were discontinued within 2 months of signing up. DH thought I was crazy at first, but when I told him about the discontinued items he saw my point. He still got mad at me if I told him ahead of time to expect a present from so-and-so. ;) I did try not to look right before my shower - I updated everything right when the invitations went out, and only peeked once (or twice) before the party.
My mom was unstoppable - she checked constantly. Not that I minded; I had someone to talk to about the "progress." :)

I have 5 weddings this summer, and I check everyone's registries too! Yours included as well :p :p

I look at mine often. I don't have any showers for at least a month, but I check anyways.

I did it before the showers, and I'm sure that I'll do it even more when the big day gets closer! Who says it's a bad thing?! lol

I accidentally peeked when I added something to my registry recently. But I only saw that some items had been bought-- I forced myself not to look at which ones. My shower is on Saturday and I really want to be surprised when I open gifts.

However, after the shower all bets are off. I'm totally going to peek!! :D

I totally checked out our wedding registries - and, I'm sure I'll do the same thing once we register for baby stuff soon! ;)

ALL THE TIME!!! It's so much fun! I don't like surprises, and I have my shower next week so I wanna see what ppl are buying me! I can't wait to get everything! The most exciting part for me is that someone purchased a VERY large selection of our bedding (that isn't cheap!) so I can NOT wait to get that and dress up my bedroom!
Off to peek again!

I was a horrendous registry-peeking-offender!! I liked knowing what we were getting. We were still surprised by WHO gave us the stuff, so it wasn't like it was taking the fun out of anything. I mean, we did register for the stuff... and people these days generally buy from the registry... so where's the surprise anyway?

Oh yeah, I checked my registry a lot. It was an addiction. I started out just checking to make sure there were still items left (uh-huh). As it got closer to the wedding, I didn't check as much because I was busy.

I have 2 friends getting married soon. I've been checking their registries NON STOP ever since I found out where they are registered. I love seeing what they picked out and what they are getting - or already got at the shower.

How pathetic am I? LOL

I guess I'm the wierd one then ;) I only did the stupid registry because my mom and MIL were nagging us to do it for the people who wanted to buy us a "thing". We didn't actually need any of that stuff. So as soon as I created it online (there was no way I wanted to waste time going to the actual store) I forgot about it and didn't look at it until today, two weeks after my wedding :D

BUMP....
Did anyone NOT peek? I LOVE surprises and don't want to know what has been bought, but I'm kind of obsessive about looking at registries. Has anyone actually stuck it out without looking?
