I am invited to a bridal shower and the hostess wants us all to write a 'pearl of wisdom' to the bride which can be insight on the actual wedding date, or marriage. My mind is blank and I can't think of anything....suggestions??

I always tell brides to enjoy every second of their big day because it will fly by way too quickly. Simple, but the truth!

One the wedding day:
Don't forget to eat
Remember it's only one day in your lives. Expect problems. Don't let it ruin your day.
Dont forget to look at your guests as you walk down the aisle. But don't forget to look at your husband either!
For the marriage:
Never go to bed angry with each other
Allow for the possibility that it really ISN'T about you, even if it might be.
(Works for the small things that go "wrong" on the wedding day, that morning DH snaps or wakes up grumpy, when your toddler goes through a phase when the other parent is GOD and you are chopped liver....)

Always take time for a date night. Life gets crazy and you can sometimes forget why you have a ring on your finger.

My mom's best friend wrote a great one on our signature mat at our wedding which I have used again:
Together, forever
Wing to wing, and
Oar to oar
