Within the 10 days after I gave birth to my son (my 2nd DC) I had what I described to my doc as a feeling of cement down in my ovarian area. It felt like a bruise that was constantly being pushed and it felt very heavy, to the point that it radiated down into the inside of my upper thighs and was moderately painful to walk. I wasn't incapacitated or anything, but it was uncomfortable. My doc said if I didn't pass any large clots, not to worry about it. She said it was probably my uterus shrinking. It went away. At my 6 week pp appt, everything was normal. Two months later I had my annual exam - my uterus had returned to normal size and everything else was normal.

My DS is almost 6 months old and the feeling has come back. It started yesterday and I assumed it was ovulation pain, but I still have it today. Has anyone else ever felt this? I've never had any female issues, other than HPV, but that never hurt. Any thoughts? I took some Tylenol today and will call my doc's office tomorrow if I'm still feeling this.

After I had my babes, I have noticed that ovulation has been MUCH more painful and my periods are much worse :( O pains for me now are anywhere from 3 to 7 days of pain in the ovaries.

However, take my personal experience with a grain of salt, as I may have other health issues that may be contributing to my pain which is why I find myself in the Health Issues thread today... :o
