I'm getting ready to put my DS in a twin sized bed and was wondering if anyone new of any web sites that sell cute boys bedding. I've looked in a few stores like walmart, target ect and haven't seen anything that i just love. I'm not really into the whole spiderman, spongebog thing yet. I'm sure when he gets older he will want something like that but for right now he has no idea who they are.

Thanks

Just bumping this up to see if anyone else has any more suggestions. We're looking to get DD a new bedroom set for her birthday and so far cannot find any bed that suits her. She's not a prissy little girl and most of the websites I've looked at have lots of frills, lace, butterflies, and roses. That's not Ava at all. I want something bright and bold and fun. Any ideas where I could look?

I got wonderful Dinosaur themed bedding at Target.com (http://www.target.com)

They have other kinds too. It was a great price.

Lauren: Sorry to hijack, but are you moving Ava into a big girl bed? I can't wait to hear about it!

Maggie: She seems to be getting ready for a big girl bed and my parents offered to get her one for her birthday or Christmas, so we're going to try it then. I figure it can't hurt to try and if nothing else, we'll have the bed whenever she is ready.

DS has the pirate bedding from Olive Kids (http://www.olivekids.com/). It's held up well so far and I like all of the matching accessories you can buy.

bumping this up. We converted DD's crib to a toddler daybed and I'm looking for a quilt/comforter for her. We have a baby quilt that's too small, but a twin would be too big. What size bedding should I buy and where can I get bedding made specifically for a toddler bed?

Natalie: Helena uses a down comforter that's a lap blanket. I think my mom got it at Kohl's and it's the perfect size. Everything else we had was either too little or too big.

maggie Great idea! I'll look this weekend at Target-I know I've seen some lap size blankets and throws there. Thanks!

I had gotten some toddler bedding from Target.com in the past. It came with a bottom sheet, top sheet, pillow case, and quilt. Just make sure it says toddler bedding and not twin. They sell toddler size blankets too.

I don't know if they have it in their stores. I have only seen the toddler bedding sets on their website.

posted by genndan100502 over in FYI sale:

there's a new line of kids bedding and wall art. Take a look! www.kukunest.com

i received an email from teri (who created giddygiddy hairclips) to let me know about her new company and coupon code she has distributed to her customers of giddygiddy. she said to feel free to pass it on!

kukunest will officially launch on Jan 31, but from now until then, if you call her you get FREE SHIPPING and $20 off when you purchase
any Duvet Set with a Coordinating Sheet Set.

just call her: 510 530 5858 and mention "giddy friends", OR email her at teri@kukunest.com

These are the key points to Kukunest bedding:

1) super cute designs
2) cool themes that kids and parents alike will
appreciate and love
3) oko-tek certified
4) formaldehyde free (believe it or not, most kids
bedding have formadehyde)
5) we don't use any plastic packaging for the sake of
our landfills (and earth)
6) created by two moms
7) everything coordinates beautifully across themes!

I just bought DS a toddler sized down duvet at Pottery Barn Kids and bought discontinued PBK airplane bedding (duvet cover, pillowcase and shams) brand new on eBay.

I'm looking for toddler-sized ladybug bedding - any suggestions? I just looked through all the sites listed in this thread (and many other sites) and am not having much luck. TIA.

Rosenberry Rooms (http://www.rosenberryrooms.com/baby-bedding.html) has some cute bedding

For ladybugs, here's a cute one--

Thanks, TOMama! I hadn't checked either of those sites, though I did see the one you linked to on beyond-bedding somewhere else. I appreciate it, though.

twinnyme - I was just browsing BabyAge.com and came across this ladybug bedding (http://www.babyage.com/bedding/lady_bug_yard_twin_bedding_pem_america_collection. htm). Looks like it's on sale too.

Oh, I love that, TOMama - thank you! I have already ordered the Hungry Caterpillar (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000SETHFC/002-9440781-2718418) (Eric Carle) bedding instead - I figured it was close enough to ladybugs and it fits the book-filled theme of her room quite nicely. I will keep the one you posted bookmarked, though, just in case - it's the best ladybug bedding I've seen.

DD1 has had the Olive Kids Mermaid bedding for almost a year. I even bought a second set at Kohls.com for DD2 (which will be in the closet for a year or so). A good price with 30% off coupon, I couldn't pass it up.

I too am looking for toddler bedding... more specifically, just a toddler quilt/comforter. We will continue to use our Caden Lane bedding but I need a bigger blanket than the one we have been using but not as big as a twin. So it needs to match the bedding colors of pink & brown- or just pink or just brown. I found restoration hardware has some toddler duvets that would work but wanting to see if I have any other options. Any suggestions for buying toddler blankets on their own in pink and/or brown?
