Ion Television (which i had never heard of until I saw TWY on the tv guide) is showing all The Wonder Years reruns. After all these years, I still love that show.
They show 2 episodes a night, so set your DVRs!!

DH and I have been watching them all week. Today we just watched the one where Kevin gets nominated to the student council. He helped organize a rally to protest the Vietnam war. It was weird to be watching this show so many years later (what? almost 20 years?) and think/feel so differently about the topics they address.

Well, I may just have to give in and get the DVR now-I LOVED The Wonder Years! It was set exactly 20 years behind for me-Kevin was always in the same grade as me, graduated the same year I did, etc.

I've been driving DH crazy. I have been watching this weeks episodes on the DVR all afternoon.
Wow--do the episodes have the music in them? I was reading that the reason it's never on in reruns or available on DVD is the music licensing costs.

OMG...I love the Wonder Years. I saw it the other night (the student council episode too) but thought it was a freak thing and not on more than once. YAY!

Yup!
The DVDs are also available here.
I cannot tell you how excited this just made me, I am in fact sitting here with a huge cartoon grin on my face. I was looking for these around Christmas time and was so dissappointed that this show wasn't out there on dvd!!
Turns out I still find Winnie really annoying even 15 years later.
