Would you pick the Luxor, Treasure Island or the Monte Carlo and why? They are all about the same price.

I would pick the Monte Carlo b/c it is not a tacky theme but it is nice enough and a good mid-strip location. If I were taking a kid, I would do one of the more theme-y ones, probably Treasure Island - but w/o kids I would skip it since it is usually overflowing w/ kids/families.

I would pick T.I.--the last couple times I've been there, it was more of a young adult crowd than a family crowd. It's in a good location and has a good vibe. Luxor isn't bad but if you book it make sure to get a Tower room, not a pyramid room. I have never been inside Monte Carlo, so can't comment on that one.

I'd go with either TI or the Monte Carlo. I wouldn't go with the Luxor - I'm not fond of it's location. I like that TI is bang in the middle of the Strip where I like to hang out and shop. :) (Right across from the Fashion Mall, down the street from the Forum Shops, across the road from the Venetian Grande Canal shops...)

That's tough actually. I probably would stay at TI because of the location. Monte Carlo is nice, but nothing really special. Luxor is seriously cool, but it's way at the far end of the strip.

We didn't love the Luxor and we stayed in the main pyramid. The rooms in the towers were much better and the gym is incredible. But inside the pyramid, rooms are loud, you can hear other doors closing in the middle of the night/AM and it's at the end of the strip.

I like TI as well!

I vote for TI mostly for the location. I would rather not be all the way on the other end of the strip at the Luxor. And I don't know very much about Monte Carlo so TI it is. We stayed there a couple years ago and really enjoyed our stay.

of the 3, i've only stayed at TI. i liked it there and it's not theme-y, really. i think they must have remodeled it over the past few years because the first time i was in vegas ('97) it had much more of a theme going on. now it's a young crowd, has nice restaurants (the mexican place was quite good) and it's a good location--especially if you like to shop. the poolside cabanas were nice too.
