Hey girls!

I was wondering if any of you know where I can find/order a mattress pad for a portable crib mattress that is 2" thick? I bought the mattress at Babies R Us and they don't sell the pads. The mattress is very crunchy so we need something. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks much!

Are you looking for like a crib sheet or a waterproof crib mattress pad? BRU doesn't sell the covers? Weird.

lady1297 - I am looking for a mattress pad. Like a thicker cotton one so that the bedsheet isn't directly on the harder mattress surface. I just can't find any that small. I know it is very weird that Babies R Us doesn't carry them. But they don't. I have less than 4 months to find one though!! :eek: I told my mom that if we cant find one we may just have to buy a blanket or something and stick that between the mattress and the sheet. I would hate to do that though. We will see. Thanks for posting!

Okay, that makes perfect sense! I had one for our bassinet, but it wasn't thick, so I know in theory what you mean. Did you try Baby Depot and Target or Walmart? They tend to have slightly difference things. Well, if you get desperate you can find a crib sized one, it could be cut down and resewn to fit. You may even be able to get 2 out of one crib sized one. (1 back up for the leaky nights)

I tried Target, but not Walmart or Baby Depot. I will do that, though. Good idea on buying a regular one and resewing it. I am sure I can find someone who sews. Good thinking! Thanks again! :)
