I'm 2 weeks post-delivery today and the stretch marks on my stomach are driving me crazy. They itch all the time. I've been using Palmer's cocoa butter on them but it doesn't seem to help. Can anyone give me some treatment ideas? I'm breastfeeding so the treatments have to be safe to use now.

I don't think there is really much you can do besides lotion and drinking plenty of water.

Ask your doctor if you can use Eucerine Calming Cream or Sarna's Original Anti-Itch Lotion. These have realllly helped my itchy pregnancy skin.

What about pure Vitamin E oil. I got a bottle from Target and slather it on any time my pregnant belly itches.

Sherb, I'd make sure to talk to your doctor.

I remember my stretch marks started itching on the last day I was in the hospital after DS' birth. It just got worse over the next week, then started to spread. Turns out I had a case of postpartum PUPPS. I had a second case about 4 weeks later.

You do need to be careful what lotions you use and what they contain, especially if you're nursing. My midwife suggested an oatmeal bath, which does help some women.
