I started dieting and exercising in May and to date, I have lost 22 pounds. My cycles were 30 days in May and June with no problems. So, this month rolls around and when AF didn't arrive last week, I didn't think anything of it. I was feeling cramps, bloating, some spotting, and had some weight gain, so I figured she was on her way!

Yesterday (CD 38), the spotting was still there and minimal, so I decided to test and it was negative. I thought about implantation cramping and spotting, but I am guessing that it is a little late in my cycle for that! No?!

I woke up this morning, still crampy, bloated, etc. and I am so confused! So, my question is...Have any of you experienced this with adding a diet and exercise to your lifestyle?! If so...were you regular before? I have never experienced a extremely late period like this except for when I was pregnant. I am baffled...I would think if I was pregnant and on CD 39, a line would have showed up, since my period is a week and a half late!

Thanks for reading my ramble!

Yep, it happens to me, even being on BCP. It's scared the heck out of me too, esp the first time it happened. I was terrified I was PG.

About 4 weeks or so ago, I ramped up the workouts and cleaned up my eating. AF was a full day and a half late (I know it's not like what you're experiencing, but I'm on BCP, and it's usually on the hour). Anyway, I guess I'd keep an eye on it, and see your doc if it doesn't come.

*They* say that safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs/ week. Losing more than that could definitely throw your body out of whack.
