How's this for a weird question? I walk quite frequently, and I've started getting water blisters on my left ankle. They've both been on the same spot, kinda near where my shoe meets my ankle. Is it from my shoe rubbing combined with the perspiration from the summer heat? Shouldn't my socks be absorbing the perspiration? What do I do to prevent them? Also (sorry if TMI) I drained them both with a clean needle, and it is only water coming out. Is that okay?

23 have read so far and nobody knows what to do with blisters, or why I may be getting them? ;)

I walk a lot too and have been getting the same thing. What kind of socks do you wear? I find that I get the blisters when I wear the short socks or low cut ones. Maybe you should buy some moleskin or big bandaids and put it on that area of you ankle before you go walking..it's a pain but it should help.
