Refund from Amazon.com for HBP?

Did anyone else order Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince from Amazon.com? I got an email from them tonight saying that I was getting $2 refunded to my credit card and it referenced my HP order. I'm leary of anything that comes through email regarding my Visa, so I went online and checked my Amazon account. Sure enough, it confirmed the refund. I don't have the first clue why they're giving me money back - it was here on time, I got just what I ordered, etc.

Did I just not realize they had some kind of promotion going on? Anyone else getting a refund?

Did you get it on time? I heard at one point there weren't going to be able to get out everyone's books on time. That *could*be it, dunno.

I also got the refund. They lowered the price about two days or so before the release, so those who had it pre-ordered at a higher price got a refund for the difference.

Ok, well that makes sense then. I ordered 2 books, thus the $2 refund. I must have missed their email about lowering the price.
