Hey all East Coast people :)
Have a question. Have to go to a wedding in Sept. in Litchfield, CT. Some guests are flying into Hartford,CT, some are flying into NYC.
Would those of you who are familiar with the area tell me what you would do? I am a bit confused about which might be the easiest way to go.
Thanks!!! :D

I personally would fly into Hartford.....just an easier airport to deal with in my opinion. It isnt too far from Litchfield......which is a beautiful area by the way. Have a great time there!

I would suggest flying into Hartford, that way you don't have to deal with the NYC traffic. Getting out of the city is a nightmare. Chances are flights to Hartford are cheaper than NYC.

Definately fly into Hartford. Traffic to and from NYC will make your trip a couple hours longer (and more stressful) each way.

Definitely fly into Hartford. After our experience flying back from our honeymoon to La Guardia, I don't think we'll ever fly out of or into NY again. It's just not worth the stress or hassle.

Thanks so much you guys! :) We are now looking at flights into Hartford!!
nola - thanks! It's a family wedding and there's already drama so I really hope it's FUN and not DRAMA. heh heh
Annette - thanks for the input! I didn't realize flights would be cheaper. I thought with the volume to NYC it would be less Good point!
Sabrina - Yeah, the stress factor definately comes into play here. We are actually flying in the day of the wedding so we don't need the added stress! Thanks for the advice!
Leslie - Thanks for sharing your experience. Makes our decision that much easier! heh. Too bad LaGuardia was bad for you :(
