We are considering putting up ballisters around our patio as if it were a deck. The ballisters would also go out into the grass a little bit on the end of the patio so there is a grassy area. We are considering this because the dogs are slowly tearing up our yard, they get in the garden and they can squeeze under the fence. The dog next door causes most of the problems- she digs giant holes along the fence to get to our dogs and now our dogs can go under the fence. But anyway, this would also keep the dogs from getting muddy. This would be their area to do their business and get fresh air.
So if anyone has any advice, tips, or pictures for me, I would really appreciate it!
