I'm so excited for Julianne that she won her first time on the show. She really is fantastic, and they had stellar chemistry. I think that is what ended up giving them the final edge over Joey.

I'm so thrilled with the outcome and I think that the ranking was just as it should be. Laila was good, but she just wasn't as good as the guys. Joey was great, but his showmanship was a bit better than his dancing. Apolo really was the better dancer of the two... even though I would still have been happy (just not AS happy) if Joey had won.

I'm so sad this season is over!! *sniff*

Yeah! The right guy won. I just liked Apolo & Julianne's exhuberance in the dance floor more. Joey struck me as sort of hammy. I hope Julianne continues next year!

His appearances on the tour will only be in five select cities, starting in Raleigh, N.C., on Saturday. He'll also show up in Hershey, Pa., on July 2; Bridgeport, Conn., on July 3; Wilkes Barre, Pa., on July 5 and Atlantic City, NJ, on July 6. 6th.

Wow what a surprise! It's a treat for whoever bought tickets for those shows!

I have heard rumors about Wayne Newton, Jennie Garth, and Scary Spice (Melanie Brown) being on the next season. A long time ago, word on the street was that Tori Spelling was going to be on, but that seemed to fizzle.

Thanks Adaya- I saw a promo on TV last night and they mentioned
Wayne Newton, Scary Spice and Aaron Carter as possible dancers.

Rumor has it that Mark Cuban will also be joining the cast. That sounds a bit far-fetched, but it would be entertaining!

I can't wait to watch Cameron Mathison. I don't watch AMC, but he's well known in the soap community for being very friendly and accomodating to the fans. I went to SSW in 2001 and he was there-he stopped for every single person that asked him for an autograph. Very cool guy.

I know, I can't help but think the same thing. BUT, he is a very talented guy. DH and I were watching some show on the travel channel about Vegas this weekend. they did a feature on Wayne and it was mentioned that he plays 11 instruments! He's got to be a fast learner, right? I'm not a fan-don't know anything about him at all beyond what I saw on this show, but I have to say I'm pretty intrigued.

Wayne Newton is a pure entertainer. I expect him to hang in there and work it(especially with a strong partner like Cheryl). I'm not betting he'll win, but I can't see him going home early.

ITA. Albert Reed and Joise Moran should pack their bags now and keep them packed. Nobody knows who they are and, as the show has shown, if you are someone like Kenny Mayne (ok, ok he couldn't dance at all) or Wila Ford, you don't hang on long b/c you have no fan base.

I am very underwhelmed with the cast. Mark Cuban and Wayne might be the only reasons to watch. Jane Seymour? She was last relevant when? :confused:

Jane Seymour was also on Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeves. Yes it's very old but a very lovely story if anyone is interested in checking it out.

I personally think Jane has a good shot because if I remember correctly, she trained as a professional dancer in England before going into acting. So she's not as inept as Leeza or Shandi were.

I'm giving this cast a chance. You never know who you'll warm up to. Like I didn't know who Drew Lachey was but he impressed me!

Julianne's brother looks so young. He looks like he's ten. And it looks like Edyta got someone younger this time for a change.

The Cheetah girls are a pop girls singing group- more tailored for the preteen group. However, the girl from High School Musical did well a few seasons ago, so you never know.
