Is 350$ a good deal to Mexico City in April or should I wait and see if it gets any cheaper?
I can get to the US on "my" airline for cheap, but from there on I have to buy regular tickets. My options are to fly out of Chicago, Washington DC or New York. So far, DC seems the cheapest.
Anybody with insight, please advise me :)

I think anything under $400 these days is a good deal. I just returned from Maui where tickets from Oakland were $412/each. I'm currently investigating ticket prices from SF Bay Area to Boston, Mexico, and France, and the cheapest I'm finding for each destination is $400, $401, and $799 each.

This is a hijack, but justHB, I would not purchase tickets to Boston for $400, personally. We never pay more than $350 from SFO.

We just purchased air fare from Nashville to Cancun for $330 and change(all taxes & fees included) from Frontier Airlines.

I think it depends on the time of year and the price of fuel, as well as where in Mexico you are going. Last summer, some friends and I flew from NYC to a wedding in Veracruz. The tix were about $800 R/T in July! (I found a $980 R/T fare first class fare and snapped it up, and thank goodness, since there were endless delays at the Mexico City airport, which I spent at the oh so comfy VIP lounge, drinking and snacking and reading magazines).
