Interesting gift idea!

While sending out pictures of my most recent ultrasound to friends and family, one of my former co-workers informed me that the daughter of a lady who works in the district has a unique business, creating works of art out of ultrasound pictures. Honestly - they look a little creepy! It also looks like she just fooled around in Photoshop for a few minutes. Does she actually paint them? It's hard to tell from her website what she actually does with the pictures :(

I believe she does actually paint them, because she mentioned using a canvas.

the concept is good but the execution isn't really my taste. they really do look like she just fiddled with them in photoshop, and then maybe does a canvas transfer?

I agree, it looks a little creepy to me.

Chances are, she is manipulating them in photoshop and having it printed on canvas, which is very easily done at pro labs.

Yeesh - not my style at all. I love my children's ultrasound photos, but not in that setting, and not all overly Photoshopped and colored like that. And holy crap - not cheap either! :eek:
