The Next Food Network Star (and I don't even know how to cook! yipe!)

Yo! :D What's this Food Network Star show? Is it on the food network? When's it on? Sounds like something right up my ally! I concure with you about Beauty and Geek - so glad you told me about it. Even though I've missed a few episodes I love it, the show is hilarious! Did you see this past week's show where the guys had to get phone numbers?! Too funny! Hehe!

lawyerlee

I caught one episode of Beauty and the Geek, and it was really cute! I've managed to miss it every other time though. :(

When OLN starts playing the first season of Survivor, I think I'll watch that. I watched the first couple of seasons, so it will be fun to revisit that, I think. :)

Is it on VH1? I've flipped through the channels and noticed it, but never tuned it.

Give us the dirty details girl!

Camdynlyn
06-25-2005, 12:28 PM
I will *gladly* inform everyone!

From VH1 Website..
Fifteen ordinary men from all across America will leave behind the nine-to-five grind to compete for one of seven six-figure, one-year contracts as a member of a traveling male strip revue troupe. Instead of pushing paper eight hours a day, these ordinary guys will get paid to entertain thousands of smitten female fans. It's every man's fantasy, but for seven men it will become a reality when they hit the Vegas stage in the series finale.

They have to compete to be the next all male review group. Similar to the female Pussycat Dolls or Chipndale dancers.

I caught I Married a Princess on Lifetime last night for the second time when I couldn't sleep last night. I think it's so cute! They have the coolest family. A house full of kids and happiness. It's just adorable. I should set the TiVo to record it so I can see it more often. :)

So I'm a lurker, but my favorite topic (Reality TV) was mentioned and forced me to come out of lurk mode. I think I have a serious problem when it comes to reality TV. I was trying to make a list of all the shows I watch and it was ridiculously long. I think I watch (ed) almost every show that was listed.

But my absolute favorites are:

Amazing Race (#1 Fav)
Big Brother (Close 2nd, I Even subscribe to the video feed)
America’s Next Top Model (much better than SI’s show)
Project Runway (so much better than The Cut)
The Apprentice

Unfortunately, non are currently on or else I could talk all day about any of theses shows!

I did watch Being Bobby Brown last night. Whitney and Bobby are a mess! So sad...

And if Kimberly doesn't STFU about "New York", I'm gonna go crazy on her ass! ;)

I agree! Didn't Kimberly just become a stylist at the end of last season? And now she thinks she's ready for runway hair? I wanted to stick her blow dryer down her throat to shut up all that whining.

I'm not sure how I feel about Jonathan. Part of me can't stand his ego, but part of me thinks he's kinda hot. :D

More reality TV!!! :D

WEEK AHEAD: Serena & Venus Get Real (http://people.aol.com/people/articles/0,19736,1083707,00.html)

WEDNESDAY, JULY 20: Tennis champs Venus and Serena Williams are joining the reality-show ranks with their new ABC Family series Venus & Serena: For Real. "I had some reservations about it, but it was easier than expected," Venus, who recently won the women's Wimbledon title, tells PEOPLE about the show. "I don't think the other (tennis) players were too happy about the cameras. There are a lot who may not like us. They probably like us less now." The six-episode series follows the sibs as they fraternize with family and friends, pursue their sport (Serena is the reigning Australian Open champ) and their other interests: Venus has an interior design business and Serena is a fashion designer and budding actress. The show debuts at 10 p.m. ET.

If you're craving another fix of fancy footwork on TV now that Dancing with the Stars has wrapped up, you're in luck. FOX is debuting So You Think You Can Dance, where you can expect to see hip-hop moves and krumping (a high-speed, athletic dance style that was born on the streets of South Central, Los Angeles and is depicted in the new documentary Rize) as well as ballroom dancing. Aspiring dancers audition in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles to take a shot at winning $100,000 and an apartment in New York City. The producers of American Idol are behind the show, so expect to see fleet-footed contestants and also those tripping over themselves. The two-hour premiere kicks off at 8 p.m. ET.
