Maybe I am thinking too "motherly", but when my baby is born I don't think I will go out "partying" besides maybe on new years once in a while.

Okay, I understand the fact that we haven't seen the baby because of the photogs hounding them EVERYWHERE and I wouldn't want to expose my child to that. So I understand Brit there. But what I don't get, is they are out partying when they have a newborn?

Now, I'm not a parent yet but I know plenty who are and I know that NONE of them were out partying when they had their first child. Most of them waited months and months AND months before they got out on their own without the baby.

I don't think so. You can be a mom and still get out once in a while! Especially if you are lucky enough to have trusted friends or family members to care for the baby while you are out. My husband and I went out for the night (my parents took the baby for the whole night!) on 4th of July. My baby was just about 2 months at the time. We spent the night at a friends house downtown ... drank lots of beer (well lots for ME!) .. ate lots of food ... and just had a good time! Of course I missed my little guy but I really needed a little time to let loose. I didn't think there was anything odd about it. :)

As for her being out with her mom all the time, I have a friend who is just VERY close to her mom and they are together all the time. I know i would hang out with my mom a lot if I were going through a hard time (adjusting to Motherhood, potential end of my marraige etc.)

Not odd at all. I had a baby back in May. The baby weight came off pretty quick but I had this "pooch" (that, looiking back on it was not big or noticable really at all!) that just annoyed me to death. Because it made me uncomfortable I was always putting a hand in front of it or pulling and tugging on my shirt front. I didn't even know I was doing it until a friend pointed it out! I'm sure she's just self-conscious and doesn't even know she's doing it either :)

I think one of the reasons people are so suprised is because BS has not been exactly private when it comes to everything else in her life.

I think Madonna learned early (after Sean Penn) to keep her private life mostly private - she only let us see what she wanted us to.

Courtney Cox seems to be generally a private person, so of course we weren't suprised not to see her baby.

If it were me, I would move to a cave if I so much as thought someone would exploit my baby.

ITA. I thought that statement was pretty rude, to be honest. This is an innocent little baby we are talking about here folks. He can't help it he was born into this "chaotic" (bad, I know:) ) life of his parents. Oh course, I would never ever wish a birth defect or any health problems on someone and their child regardless of who the person is. I hope Britney SPears has beautiful and healthy baby.

BS is a public figure who pimped out her pregnancy and loved to be photographed throughout it and that is why I speculate on why her child has not been photographed yet. Of course, it is her right as a parent to protect the privacy of her child and I respect that.

For the record, Courtney Cox did release a photo of Coco a few weeks after she was born and the proceeds went to charity. The photo appeared in People or something and she made a statement like, " It is our hope that by releasing this photo the privacy our of daughter wil be respected."

I do not agree, She looks alot different nowadays then she did back then. Just like Sarahh said more together, upbeat, energy much more brighter. I wonder if she is really much happier now then she was back then? Because that is what trully should matter.

She may look like she's in a worse mood much of the time (so would I with a crappy husband, a pregnancy, and just having had a baby, AND having everyone picking on me constantly about those 3 things), but Sarah's original post said "She used to be so beautiful!", and I'm just saying that as far as her "look" and her looks, she's the same. I never saw day-to-day photos of her before about 1 1/2 years ago, so I have no clue if she was always put together or not when she'd run out to the store. If you go just by when she's done up for events, I don't see a glaring difference in the way she presents herself.

Kevin Federline has finally used his time in a constructive manner while Britney Spears is busy looking after their son Sean Preston.

Kevin Federline has put his interior decorating and landscaping skills to good effect and turned their Malibu, California home into a “tropical paradise."

I don't think it is strange at all, most people with live in nannies do book rooms like that. They don't have to be in la-la land. That way the parents can do what they want, on their schedule, and not disrupt the child, (or take responsibility, if that is how you want to look at it)!

According to the story, the nanny and son are in the same room. So she got three room - one for her, one for her mom, one for her nanny & son. That's pretty normal. They're not putting a 2.5 month in his own room.

Wow. I can not believe I would ever defend Britney. But today is a day I *wish* I had a nanny to watch my DD. There are days that babies just are miserable. Or have colic. Or want to eat nonstop. Or... Having someone there to help, if you have that is an option, may save the mother's sanity. We do not know if SP is colicky or a great baby. We do not know how much one-on-one time BS is spending with SP. I can not judge her without knowing more about the intimate details of her relationship with SP and the temperment of the little guy.
