I also hope that the lightbulb goes off, but when you have that much money, and that much help, you kind of wonder how much actual "parenting" they are going to be doing. Remember Brit had a bad role model, with mommy wanting to make the quick buck and throwing them into anything and everything to make money while they were growing up. Hopefully Brit won't put that pressure on her child. I wish them all luck!

Britney and Kevin have named their baby Sean Preston and he weighed in at 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

Britney arrived to the UCLA hospital at 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning under heavy police escort with husband Kevin by her side. About an hour and a half later, mom Lynne and lil' sister Jamie Lynn showed up.

As far as her hospital accommodations – how does $20,000 per night sound?

A source tells Access that in addition to the pop star's fifth floor $3,000/night room that has a tented balcony, her family and security team take up an additional seven rooms on the floor.

The source also said that the healthy baby boy was born at 12:57 p.m. and that Britney's C-section scar is very small and very low.

Britney also has a private chef in a kitchen adjacent to her hospital suite that is there to make whatever she requests.

It's finally happened, people. The day we've long dreaded is here. Yes, more of Kevin Federline's baggy-pants-wearing, job-avoiding genetic makeup has arrived into the world. On Wednesday, Britney Spears experienced "the closest thing to God" by giving birth to a bouncing baby Cheeto, er, boy.

"We are ecstatic to announce the birth of our son!" the proud parents said in a posting on Britney's Web site (the announcement was accompanied by a picture of the pair awkwardly smooching). "Everyone is happy, healthy and doing wonderful. Thank you for all your love and well wishes!"

While early word pegged the tot's moniker as Preston Michael Spears Federline, Britney apparently thought better of saddling him with the playground-target nickname of PMS Federline. "Access Hollywood" says they've gone with Sean Preston.

Us reports that baby boy Federline made his debut just before 1 p.m. at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, with Britney, 23, delivering via Caesarean section with Kevin, 27, by her side. The couple made a low-key entrance at the hospital around 6 a.m., pulling up amid a phalanx of police cars.

According to Star, Spears was surrounded by eight burly bodyguards when she was admitted to a maternity suite (under a pseudonym, natch), which was purportedly made pop starlet-friendly with the addition of big-screen TVs and sofa beds.

The baby arrived at precisely 12:57 and weighed in at 6 pounds, 11 ounces, says the mag, which seemingly had a surgical-masked mole in the delivery room. Kevin, who has two young children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson, was allegedly trusted with a sharp object and allowed to cut the cord.

"Everybody was crying," an insider relays. "Kevin, Britney, Britney's mom -- they all broke into tears."

"Access" says the hospital accommodations set Spears back $20,000 a night, including extra rooms for her family and security. Also on hand: a private chef in a nearby kitchen.

Other details from "Access": Britney has already started breastfeeding; her C-section scar is "very small and very low"; and Sean Preston has plenty of dark curly hair.

In a recent interview with Elle, Spears revealed she had a "feelin'" that she would deliver a boy through Caesarean.

"I don't know why, but I hope so," she said of the surgery. "My mom said giving birth was the most excruciating thing that she's ever gone through in her life." (We hear recovering from a C-section isn't much of a picnic, either, but moving on ...)

It hasn't always been an easy pregnancy for Spears, who is expected to remain in the hospital for the next few days. Not only has she donned one unfortunate maternity outfit after another, but she was reportedly rushed to a Florida hospital in April after suffering complications. Us reports she also began having contractions on Sept. 9 and was in "much physical discomfort" for the next few days.

"Pregnancy has not agreed with her," a Britster insider tells the magazine. "She has been sick a lot ... She couldn't get out bed all weekend."

The bundle of joy arrived just days before Britney and Kevin celebrate the one-year anniversary of their down-market nuptials, which featured the groom wearing a tracksuit emblazoned with the words "Pimp Daddy" and a menu of chicken fingers and ribs.

And the little nipper is already pulling his weight, PR-wise. His birth coincides with the launch of Fantasy, Britney's new fragrance, which has hints of jasmine, kiwi, white chocolate and cupcakes, but presumably not a whiff of poopy diapers or drool.

For those wondering what we can expect from the fruit of Britney and Kevin's loins, the New York Daily News helpfully breaks down his astrological chart, revealing he's a "Virgo with Sagittarius rising. Totally. This is a time where I really do feel empathetic toward her and her situation with all the cameras. They really need to give her and Kevin and the baby some freaking space at a time like this. :( I hope everything is going well for them and that they will be more dedicated parents than some speculation has indicated they might be.

C section scars are very low and small nowadays (usually well under the pubic hair), unless it's an emergency c section and they go vertical instead of doing a low transverse incision.

A tampon, I dunno maybe everyone is different. But it would have taken me less then 5 minutes to go through a tampon after I had my C-section. There is just entirely to much bleeding. I had to use the huge and I do mean HUGE grammy pads.

I was wondering about the white bikini. Because not only do you have a problem downstairs with the flow, it is also upstairs as well with breast leakage. Unless she was wearing a nursing pad. But still it is sort of wierd.
