2nd pregnancies-carrying different

If you carried different with your 2nd child than your 1st, was it a different sex? Besides the getting bigger faster part.

I don't know if this info is helpful to you, but I'm carrying very similarly for both pregnancies, and they are both boys.

Then again, I don't personally buy into the "tell the sex by how you're carrying" theory, but there you go. :)

I carried similarly with all 3, and I had a boy and 2 girls.

Completely different. First was high and was a girl. The second is low and is a boy. FWIW, the OB said I am carrying low because my ligaments are still stretched from the first pg.

I lost my waist with DD - with DS, you couldn't tell I was pregnant from behind. Also eventhough I gained less with DD I looked bigger, not rounder in my belly, but bigger.

I carried lower with my son than with my DD. :)

I carried my first (little girl) higher than my second (a boy). As I like to say, DD was in my ribs and DS was so low that he could have fallen out (and practically did).

Carried differently, had different symptoms, gained about 1/3 less weight total and both were boys.

I carried MUCH lower with this pregnancy (boy) than I did with #1 (girl). Like pretty much all the shirts I wore at the end last time, didn't cover my belly towards the end this time at all- I had to get a bunch of new tops that were longer so the big maternity panel wasn't showing.

Not only did I carry almost exactly the same, but my symptoms (or lack of) were the same and I gained the same amount of weight- to the pound. One girl, one boy. I did show earlier, of course, with #2.

Carried the same - one of each. Everyone in my OB's office, endo's office, etc. swore DD was going to be a boy!

I'm carrying differently this time around (girl). When I was pg with DS he was bigger and lower.
