HELP! Need a gift idea for DH/Daddy!

I would really like to do something special for DH for Valentine's day from our son. He is the hardest person to buy for as his only hobby is golf but doesn't like golf gadgets, has enough shirts, etc. He specifically said not to get him anything (his usual mantra) and I know he means it but I would still like to do something small meaningful from DS. Oh and he's not into sweets so that kills cookies or brownies...ack! This is so hard! Any ideas?

Nice photo of your son (perhaps in a golf related Tshirt or something?), or he and your son, digital pic frame, some kind of craft made "by" your son like handprint/footprint cast or paint on paper framed, etc?

There were a few threads on Father's Day ideas that may give you some ideas. I can't find them right now, though. For Father's Day last year, I took separate pictures of my DD holding the letters "D" and "A" and then made him a 4-photo frame of "DADA." It came out pretty nice. I had to prop some of the letters. Maybe you could do the same or even "LOVE" or something (though then you'd need more letters)?

I'm going to make DH a CD of "love" songs that relate to children. There's a thread over in the infant thread in parenting. I got DD a shirt that says "My heart belongs to Daddy" and I'll put that on the cover of the CD. I'm going to get the songs from iTunes so he can also download it to his iPod.

Maybe something like that?

Actually, I thought of another idea today.... DD and DH often take "field trips" to the supermarket, car wash, etc. So I think I'm going to create with her a "book" about their field trips. She's a little older and still I'll be doing 99% of the project, but I still think it will be cute and fun (I can throw in some photos, too). Other than that, I have no ideas - probably just candy of some sort.
