Quick trip summary – we had a great time.
Did great on both plane trips. Slept majority of flights but ears seemed to bother him on both descents, nothing unmanageable.
Met Charles Barkley in ATL security line on Friday.
Met Sen. Joe Biden in PIT baggage claim on Friday.
GoGo Kidz attachment for car seat VERY helpful – until airplane seatbelt got stuck inside car seat back in ATL and it took 10 minutes and 2 flight attendants to get it out.
DS sat in and “drove” a BIG fire truck
DS was enamored with BIG windmills at the wind farm
Was less than impressed with the PA Maple Festival. More interested in hammering the spile for the tree into its trunk
DS does surprisingly well with little to no nap, which is scary.
I could totally do that trip w/o DH. He was so whiney and crabby and ugh. JMan and I could definitely go it alone.
I hope our driving trip to Lexington in 2 weeks goes just as well as this trip.

TM: Please update my age to (gulp) 30.
So the biting himself we noticed this weekend when he was over tired and just mad at the world. He would bit his hand by the thumb – HARD. It went like this: cry, yell, throw paci, throw puppy, bit self, more crying. Ugh. Better himself than others, though – you’re right Ranchers. I’m so sorry to hear about Landon and Reece.
I hope all of the sick kids, mom’s and other relatives are feeling better this week. How’s the pink eye Alicia? I had it for DS’ first Christmas. Fun, wonderful, joyous. Here’s to Abs staying pink eye free!
2’s: it comes and goes depending on his mood (which, of course, depends on most recent food consumed, last time since sleeping, weather, color of shoe, hair parted to the right, etc ;) ) The boy can throw down when he wants too. We’ve been trying some of the Love and Logic tactics posted in a board on the Toddler section and it’s amazing. He actually puts himself in his room until he can be a nice boy. Crazy, huh?
Ally: Agree that PediaCare doesn’t help cough. Try Mucinex Kids or a plug in vapor thing. Those vapor things work wonders. Hope he’s feeling better today.
Sasha: ((hugs)) Here’s to a better week! So glad that DH and DS are ok from the accident.
Alien: UGH! Roto (is that what you finally determined that it was?) is a mean one. Feel better.
Kim: Happy Baby Month!! I saw your real estate drama over in the other thread. Hang in there, girl – actually big girl (you) and little girl (baby) who can not come before grandma gets there!!!
Diedra: Congratulations and welcome Ian!!
Tgray: ((hugs)) Hope miss thing is on better behavior this week.
Ok. Time to get serious about planning this 2nd birthday shindig.
