I'm so excited about this thread and I can't WAIT to be able to post in it. I've lost 9 lbs so far so i probably wont post a picture until I've lost 20-30 lbs. ellidew - well, the first week I lost 10 pounds, so I think that was a great jump start. ;) My goal every week is 2 pounds. I think it's a combination of my BFing and exercising. :) It's never been quite this easy before, so I think everything is just clicking right now for me. :)

I am so proud of all of the progress made in this thread. I have compiled all of my progress pics. I am about 5 pounds from goal right now, I wanted to wait until I got to goal but I am truly happy with how far I have come already. I have lost 25 pounds and in the meantime ran 3 5K's, 2 10K's a half marathon a few bike races and am now training for a triathlon. I love the healthy lifestyle and never want to go back to the "old" me! Its great to have the progression though to respect where we have been and always know where we are going.

Thanks! You know, I was looking at these pictures and I feel like I came a good way. I've struggled with body image for a lot of my life. I didn't realize it at the time, you know what I mean? But now I am really practicing what I preach as far as maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I do splurge here and there, but I've learned a lot about my body!

I lost about 30-35 pounds and have kept it off with work (I have a stubborn flux of 5 pounds every so often, though that drives me nuts.) The running really helped and just changing my eating habits. Eating small meals throughout the day rather than three meals. It helps keep dinner portions smaller too. I just got back into swimming after not doing it for more than 10 years, and it's nice not to sweat, but it is WORK! I always thought it would be like college where you could just eat whatever you want and it would disappear. I didn't take into account how active I really was. Between my activities and dancing for hours on end in South Beach with my friends, I was burning a lot of calories. An unfulfilling marriage and pure laziness put the weight on. I am really happy with how far I've come, but it's hard not to just say, "I'll just take *a* day off from the gym and exercising," and not let it turn into three! Some days I have to force myself, but it really is worth it. I feel a lot better about myself now. =) I'm not perfect by any means, but I am happy and healthy! That's most important.

I had a really awesome NSV last week that I wanted to share (I can't get my pictures online, my card-reader is busted)--I tried on my wedding dress, and it is TOO BIG on me! :)

My gown is a size 14, I had to get a bigger size for my huge bust :rolleyes: , and the waist/hips were taken down to a size 8. I'm built like an upside down pyramid, really! The whole dress is LOOSE on me now, I couldn't believe it.

After going through this thread, you guys really inspired me to get back on the WW wagon. FH and I joined back in Feb. but took a bit of a break from June - Aug (summer for us teachers!) and I've managed to put a bit back on. Still, looking at my before and after helps me feel motivated that I CAN do this (esp. after seeing you ladies!)

I think it is really neat how even 'just 10' pounds makes such a huge difference!

I hear that! I just hit my 10% on tuesday, and so far today I've had Taco Bell, and pizza. :o Good thing they don't take away your 10% keychain if you gain! (wait, they don't, right? lol)

Hi All,

My name is Maria and I have joined WW 2 weeks ago and I am down 8.5 lbs! I am very excited! My goal is to lose 35 pounds. I had my second son 17 months ago and while I was pregnant gained 70 lbs with him! I have been trying to diet on my own but always end up cheating so i decided to go to WW. My starting weight was 161 and I would love to be 125 which is what I was before I got pregnant with him....
