When Did You Register For Your Baby Shower?

At what month did you register for baby shower gifts?

We went when I was about 6 months PG. It turned out to be a good move for us b/c then I was on bedrest for a bit and I wouldn't have been able to register for my shower!

Although I do have to say that we didn't do all the registering at once. We did a few things here and there over the course of a few weeks/month. Even when we thought we were done there were things that I had read about on the WC and then would go back and change/add my registry.

I did it more toward 6-7 months. It worked out well, I did it right after the holidays in January.

I know someone who registered very early and some of the stuff they ask for was discontinued by the time they had the baby shower...lukily one of her friends told her and she was able to get something else on the registry about 2 weeks before the shower (luckily our family always waits til the last minute to shop anyway! :rolleyes: )

I am not even pg yet, but I plan on registering as soon as we tell our families. With all there is to buy, DH and I will ask for only baby gear for b-days and holidays as well. Just a thought :D
