Has anyone heard/tried this???
True or myth?

INFERTILITY:

Yunani and Ayurvedic Medicine have been using honey for thousands of years to strengthen the semen of men. If impotent men regularly take two tablespoon of honey before going to sleep, their problem will be solved.

In China, Japan and Far-East countries, women, who do not conceive and need to strengthen the uterus, have been taking cinnamon powder for centuries. Women who cannot conceive may take a pinch of cinnamon powder in half teaspoon of honey and apply it on the gums frequently throughout the day, so that it slowly mixes with the saliva and enters the body.

A couple in Maryland, USA, had no children for 14 years and had lost hope of having a child of their own. When told about this process husband and wife started taking honey and cinnamon as stated above, the wife conceived after a few months and had twins at full term.

Interesting...one of the women who posts in the family planning group I belong to takes cinnamon to help with fertility. I started taking it too- also because it is known to supposedly assist with sugar metabolism.

i don't know about it. i regularly drank honey with tea bc i like it, and it didn't help me. i would be careful with cinnamon. because i heard cinnmaon was good for overall health, i added a few shakes of cinnamon to my coffee for several days. each and every time, i had a strange reaction to that much cinnmaon bc i got shaky a couple of hours after. i suppose its bc cinnamon lowers your blood sugar. if you have a fast metabolism, it may not be so great for you to add a lot of cinnamon to your diet.

I had just started putting honey in my tea the cycle I conceived (#16 BTW) but I was also doing acupuncture as well so who knows if it was the honey at all. Very interesting. Honey is supposed to help if you are yin deficient (acupuncture diagnosis) which correlates to low estrogen I think (yin = estrogen, yang = progesterone) which is why I started putting it in my tea.

Hasn't worked for us and both DH and I love Cinnamon and Honey. They're the 2 things that are also highly suggested for diabetics to have a little of every day which is why my DH makes sure he includes in his routine before going to bed.

I was taking a cinnamon supplement with my IVF cycle, and I got pregnant. I'd never taken it before.

I was taking it to regulate blood sugar, as I have PCOS.
