Socks for iPod Nano

Hi Everyone. Has anyone purchased the socks for the iPod? I'm not sure why they make you buy a pack of 5 or 6 (I really don't remember how many there are) when you only need 1.
Does anyone have any suggestions for other uses for them?

I purchased the set a few weeks ago. It is perfect for me because I didn't want one of those cases (I hate putting anything electronic in a case) but I wanted some type of pouch to put it in to prevent scratches.

The socks fit any type of ipod so if you have any family members who have an ipod you can share your set. Its good to switch colors depending on mood or good to have more than 1 for backup.

You can always sell your extras on ebay ?
