I totally love this wacky soap. I remember when it first started airing a few years ago. It is such a b rate soap :D ha ha. I mean, all soaps are corny but this one takes the cake with a witch!

Anyone else watch it?

How about Edna? She's smokin' these days thanks to tabitha. Unlike Jessica who has to be out of her mind with that spike guy. He is so icky! I know the main storyline is the love triangle between Gwen, Ethan, and Theresa but i just want theresa and ethan to get together so i can stop hearing her blab about fate and ethan can stop stringing her along like a lost puppy dog. PLUS i think Gwen has it coming to her for scheming with her mother. Rebecca is true trash. She keeps me laughing though.

Passions is always good for a laugh or two. I saw a commercial or something and there was an earthquake or something-hello, they're on the East Coast!!! The show frustrates me so much, but it's SO funny!

I've watched it since day 1. I TIVO it and watch it at night. I like the fact that it is out there and the actors "overact" (or can't act) to make it exagerated, but the fact that one day takes like two weeks to get through is a little much. DH comes home while I'm watching it and he gets so mad at the stupid story lines.

I hate the way they have turned Sheridan into a whiny bi$@*.

The one good thing with the earthquack is that atleast we will see a few new story lines though. The commercial shows something with Fox and Kay - that could be interesting but then its just another twist on the Cranes vs. Bennetts.

They leave too much hanging. Will the truth about Grace and David ever come out? Charity and Miguel? etc.

Ooohhhh - I also dislike that they have too many "almosts" like how many times do we think Theresa has found out the truth about Gwen and the paternity results oops nope just a picture of Rebecca and a donkey or a disk with a picture of her and Ethan.

I hate that I can't stop watching it!

This show is the most ridiculous, off the wall, unrealistic soap out there!!! AND I LOVE IT!!! I take my lunch break at 2 everyday just so I can watch, lol. I've been watching since they sadly took Another World off the air and replaced it with this.

Theresa IS whiney, and this whole fate stuff is just blah. BUT, I still for some reason want to see her get Ethan in the end. She always gets caught, always gets in trouble. For once, I'd like to see Gwen get her azz caught and lose the man of her dreams. She always seems to scheme and get away with it. Booooo for Gwen.

Sheridan needs to get over herself. She can't hold Luis completely responsible for this. I am looking forward to Beth finally being caught!

Passions is so ridiculous, that it is entertaining. I don't watch it that often, but still enough so that I can follow the storylines. Although, some never seem to change - Teresa fighting to get Ethan (btw I still think that Ethan is Little Ethan's father), something is keeping Luis and Sheridan apart.

Do you all want to know what's really funny?? I haven't watched Passions in at least 6 months...and I can STILL follow the storyline. How sad is that??? :eek: The last time I watched, Witney was hiding her pregnancy(or trying to pass the baby off as Fox's...did that ever happen?) , Beth was still getting away with abducting Sheridan's baby, and Grace was with that other guy (can't remember his name). I work days so I have been missing it for a while. But when I worked nights, I made sure I was up in enough time to watch my Passions. I don't know why, it is sooooo cheesy, but I can't get enough of it.:rolleyes:

Did Charity's character get written off the show? And what about Whitney's baby? The whole storyline about her having a baby with her half-borther turned me off.

Actually... i think chad is liz's son with julian. She keeps alluding to how they had sex and she has proof. Didn't they do a dna test on chad to determine he was eve and julians child? Since eve and liz are sisters the paternity came back positive. Kind of like the whole beth/Sheridan/marty storyline. So technically that would make them cousins. Which you may find equally gross but in other parts of the world having a relationship with your cousin isn't considered bad.

I know its just a soap (and a crazy one at that), but one of the things that has been annoying me to no end is the way CPR is performed. When Eve was doing chest compressions today, Allister wasn't even laying flat on his back, but on his side. And when Teresa performed CPR on Ethan in the cabin awhile back, he was propped up on pillows. I know this is all fantasy tv, but can't SOME things be a little realistic?!? lol

From what I understood, she knew Chad would never give up on Whitney (EWWWWWW) and decided to help out Fox to get ahead at Crane. This also part of the plot to break up Fox and Kay as orchestrated by Ivy. Valerie thinks that if she teams up with Fox, not only will she schieve great things at the company, but she will also end up with him in a romantic way since she gave up on Chad. The kicker is that Ivy doesn't want Fox with her though, so who knows how that will all work out!

Fans of Passions will soon have a way to double their daily dose of the non-traditional NBC soap. Beginning in early 2006, the series will start appearing in reruns on a popular cable channel.

SCI FI Channel has acquired to rights to rebroadcast old episodes of Passions. In the interest of disclosure, the NBC television network and the SCI FI Channel are part of the same family of television stations, with both being owned by NBC Universal.

"Passions dramatic blend of magic, romance, the supernatural and fantasy makes it an ideal choice for SCI FI's morning line up. The program's established ratings success with young women dovetails with our overall growth strategy and has the potential to significantly extend the reach of the channel," said Dave Howe, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the SCI FI Channel.

Episodes of Passions will air at 900am beginning February 13th and will pick up with the series' very first episode, which originally aired on July 5th, 1999. Valerie was Chad's assistant at Crane. They had this story line for a bit about how she was trying to get with Chad and at one point Fox to get to the top. She was also involved with Ivy in trying to sabatoge Kay's relationship with Fox.

And yeah, I am just happy it appears they are giving Theresa a new love interest. I can't stand Gwen though, so I still want to see her go down! :)

Chad and Whitney are not brother/sister afterall. It was another sick lie of Allister's.

Whitney's dad...I think he had a stroke? I don't think he and Eve are back together together but Eve, at one point, did move back in to take care of him and help him get better.

Gwen is not pg on the show (I don't think she can have babies) but she is pg in real life.

I haven't been watching that long either but I don't think we've ever seen Pretty. So it could possibly be either one. My original theory is that it was the "long lost" son and he's jealous of everything Fancy got, but it would make sense for Pretty too cause of the way biotch Sheridan talks about her.

So Passions is only going to be shown on DirectTV. And even though it is still going to be an NBC show, you won't be able to watch in the web. Did you see the other day when Tabitha and Julian were talking about getting DTV in her bowl? That was a little bit of overkill for me. We get this thing in the mail the other day from Verizon, phone, internet & DTV for $33 each. We may be switching cause it is cheaper than what we have now. So I may get to follow them along.

Why did you hate it Pghchic? We have Dish now and we don't like it because every semi strong wind or rain we loose the service. I just call them and they usually give us a $5 credit for the day. We're looking at what is cheapest and Verizon has that package so we may get it.

I heard someone say that it will be played on SoapNet. Though, I don't have that channel either (despite having a digital cable package) so no more Passions for me. I only recently got sucked back in too, wish I would've known, then I wouldn't have started watching again.
