I'm probably the only one on here who wears headbands VERY regularly, but the past few days I've been having some major headaches and wonder if it's because of them. The one's I wear are not tight though, I barely even feel them.

So funny you posted! I am wearing one right now and have a headache - I definitely think it can be associated. I wear a handband at least once a week and I know some of mine give me a headache after awhile - it goes away shortly after I take it off.

At least it's great to meet my girls on here who wear them and consider them :)

I can't wear headbands, and it's really too bad, because they're so much fun to wear! I get really bad headaches, right behind the ears. I swear, they must push down on a pressure point, because no matter what kind of headband, or how light the pressure from the headband, I end up in misery. :(

I dont wear headbands all that often, but I do occasionally get headaches from them. For me its not about how tight it is, but where the ends hit me. I seem to have a sensitive spot behind one of my ears and if I wear a thick headband, it'll put too much pressure on the spot and give me a headache after a few hours. I think the thinner or cloth headbands move around a bit more (dont settle in one place for hours on end), which is why they dont give me headaches.

If it is the loose elastic kind, it doesn't bother me. But I broke my finger over the weekend, and have it in a splint, so it's easier to do the headband thing now. Well, I got some cute ones and yep...after about 6 hours the tightness causes a headache. What a bummer.

I have the exact same problem! I love big headbands, but they just cause me too much pain.

Ditto pretty much all, esp where they hit. I love them but it never really seems to work. I can't really wear glasses all day long either for the same reason. By the end of the day my ears, or the area behind me ears that hold the glasses up is/are killing me! It makes my whole head hurt:-(

I almost always get a headache from headbands. The fatter ones bother me a bit sooner than the thinner ones. I love them though.

Ok, it wasn't the headband, trust me :) But sometimes I do get sore. I took 3 motrin, so it was truly just a normal headache for me. I do have one skinnier one that kills me, but my big fat one's feel just fine and I even forgot I had one on :)
It's SO fab to meet ladies out there who at least like them :)

I wear headbands about 3-4 times a week and never get headaches from them but I do have friends who get headaches from them after less than an hour!

I get a headache right away when I try to wear a headband. It bums me out because I really love the look!

I usually get a headache from headbands too so I don't use them too often and not for a long period of time. It sucks b/c it's so practical and cute.

The regular headbands that end behind my ears always give me headaches, because they press into the same spot... like a PP said, I think it must be on a pressure spot. My solution is to wear the ribbon headbands that tie underneath my hair... I waer them a little loose and secure them with bobby pins so they don't slip. :)

Before I looked over and saw what forum this is in (I always browse using New Posts), I was sure it said
Husbands and headaches?
And I thought.....well, thanks, married ladies, for reminding why staying single is worth it!
