Anyone have a good marinade recipe for pork? I'm making a spicy Thai salad for company this weekend and I wanted to put some roasted pork on top, but I wasn't sure what to make for a marinade. I want it to have Asian flavors so it "goes" with the salad - the flavors in the salad are mainly spicy, salty and citrusy, if that helps.
Thanks!!

Honestly every time I cook pork I bake it in the oven on a low heat temperature for hours marinated in apple cide vinegar and salt and pepper. I'm sure its an Eastern North Carolina
barbeque side of me but its so tender and amazing.
I have two pork marinade recipes that have an Asian flavor to them. I love both and make them all the time. The first has a "saucier" feel to it than the second, but I think it would go well with a Thai salad.
Chinese BBQ Pork
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons ketchup
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
To make a roasted pork loin using this recipe, preheat oven to 350°F. Trim any fat from pork and pat pork dry. In a bowl stir together remaining barbecued pork loin ingredients. Add pork to barbecue sauce, turning it to coat. In a small baking pan lined with foil roast pork 25 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted at least 2 inches into pork registers 155°F. Cool pork completely. Pork may be roasted 2 days ahead and chilled in a sealable plastic bag.
Easy Pork Marinade
2 T. soy sauce
1 T. oil
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. black pepper
1 glove minced garlic
I need to check a couple of the measurements above, as I am just posting this one from memory. I will post again if anything is off.
