I'm currently 4DPO of our 17th cycle. Due to insurance issues I have only had CD3 & CD21 bloodwork taken. Both came back normal. So we'll just be plugging along and charting until we get our insurance in about 1 1/2 months. I'm just really hoping that we can get preggo on our own but it really doesn't look good. We are both currently on WW and are hoping that losing some weight may help us out a bit.

Checking in on the new thread!

Congrats shushyk!!

Currently on CD5. I was supposed to have my appt with the nutritionist today but the clinic called yesterday and needed me to reschedule, so I go on the 22nd. I'm bummed, I had gotten myself psyched up for it. My dr thinks if I lose 40-50# my cycles will improve and I'll get pg. He won't give me any more meds (ie Clomid) until I lose more wt. I'm currently just on metformin.

Hi Isign and Miss-Madelyn!!!

Isign - See, I am wondering since I have a spare tire, I wonder if I will show early or not show at all. I REALLY want to feel PG but just not sure if I will or not. Just anxious.

Miss-Madelyn - I was an anxious tester too!!! Well, I think we all are. I will tell you that I didn't get my BFP until 18 DPO!! So try NOT to stress and believe in what your body is telling you. Good Luck.

*If this posted twice, I'm sorry...my computer is possibly possessed.

Last month, I test 4 times, and of course they were all BFN. I was even driving around on Christas Day trying to find a pregnancy test...This month however, DH is limiting me, and making sure that I don't get too excited...

Lady - maybe a little personal, but do you have the split belly thing? I do, and I am wondering when it will go away. If it weren't for that I'd look much farther along, instead of having extra above my belly button, and below.

LadyD088
01-17-2007, 04:04 PM
Isign - Ugh I thought I would NEVER admit this to ANYONE (not even my mom or super BF) but yes, I have the split belly. I blame it on having to wear uniforms in school and then wearing pants all the time!! Its right where all that sits.

I am the same way...WHEN will that go away!!!! I hear ya sister!!! Gosh, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one sometimes (with anything) then you find out you aren't!! Here's to hoping our little tires go away VERY soon!!!!

I just want to be able to take belly pics (not really to post on here but for Baby O's scrapbook/baby book and I don't think I can take ANY until that "separation" goes away.

Ericka

I had the split belly as well, think it was mostly there this time until I was about 13 weeks, was still slighty there until about 28 weeks (sorry you probably didn't want to hear that). First I had it until about 20 or so. It goes away when you lay down, but visible on me only before I started wearing maternity clothes which was early with #2. Don't worry girls, it will be less visible as you go along.

Another split belly here. Mine is starting to flatten just a tiny bit, but I have a uterus the size of a singleton mom at about 18 weeks. And I've found that the panel maternity pants hide it really well. :o

LadyD088
01-17-2007, 05:48 PM
Good to hear Michelle, thanks for sharing!! I look forward to the panel pants! I already have one for larger people (i'm a size 18 normally in pants) and I LOVED them. Called them my PMS pants.

Lady - I'm glad I'm not alone here ;) I'm also an 18, and have disovered the challenge of finding maternity clothes. We don't have many places to shop here (hello, Katrina was over a year 1/2 ago) still, so it's been really tough. I loooked at wal-mart today and ICK.

Erika - Thanks, it was such a surprise!

miss-madelyn

I have a split belly too...
And I have had people ask me if I was pregnant on occasion:mad:
All of my weight goes to my belly...and my boobs.

I'm generally a size 16-18, depends on the pant, and the store.

LadyD088
01-18-2007, 03:03 PM
I can only buy pants at Lane Bryant because their shirts are TOO big for me. I am only a regular XL in shirts. Their 14's sometimes fit but most are big on me. I have a decent rack but not big enough (yet?) So that will make it hard on shopping...having to shop at different stores, I imagine.

I am wondering how Old Navy will be. I've heard such GREAT things about their maternity clothes, etc...Anyone any thoughts for us plus size girls?

Ericka
01-18-2007, 03:15 PM
Lady - I personally never was able to find anything at Old Navy. I bought quite a bit from Fashion Bug in the plus size maternity and also from Motherhood Maternity in the plus size, never had an issue with the way the items wear. Hubby even got me several pieces from JCPenney Plus Maternity

When I was preg I got shirts & a few pairs of pants from motherhood maternity & jc penney. Yall might want to check out ebay also .. they usually have alot of plus size maternity clothes.

Isign- my fellow MS girl (what a surprise) - LDS two babies on the way that is wonderful ... & Congrats to all of you that have recently got BFP

split belly here also ... went away when I was around 20-22 wks ... now it is back again :(

I tried ebay yesterday for dresses - ICK! We're going to Tampa super bowl weekend (why couldn't dh's work be headquartered in Miami??) and I'm stuck b/t buying maternity clothes or regular clothes. The split belly thing doesn't make me look pg, it makes me look chubby.

jesseybell
01-19-2007, 10:13 AM
Most of my wardrobe was Gap and Motherhood. ON just didn't look right on me.

I was between sizes when I needed to go shopping - 18s were a little snug and 20s I was swimming in - it also depended on the sizing of the clothes (number sizes, versus XL, 1X, etc.)

I had the hardest time finding pants. I ended up living in khakis from the GAP and when it got warmer, full panel shorts and capris from Motherhood. Jeans were the killer - I never found ones that I really really felt comfortable in. Tops were a lot easier- I wore XL from Motherhood, with a few 1X. I had some oversized non-maternity that I wore for a while.

I started wearing maternity pants around 18 weeks and tops around 20 (though I did buy 18W pants up from 16 before going to maternity....alas, I am still in the 18Ws now 5+ months PP)

Hi ladies!

I wanted to chime in as to where I found my best luck with clothes. :)

ON I liked for v-neck tshirts. They don't make you look super pregnant, but they are great for the early days as well as post partum when you just want a little bit more length. ;)

Sears - most of my wardrobe came from them. I got tons of compliments. I usually got everything on clearance, which was the best part. I found my jeans there. Only pair that I ever found. Downside to that was the fact that they were a full belly pant. I think I would look into a belly band next time.

Fashion Bug - I usually buy online when they have super good sales. I've only bought shirts, as I'm scared not to try on first.

JcPenney - I special ordered some jeans from them. They were awful. In the end, it cost me almost $10 just to return them (in store, but I paid shipping for them to arrive).

Motherhood - I had a few basic pieces from there. One pair of shorts came from Motherhood orginally, but I bought on ebay.

And finally, someplace, I typically don't shop, but you have to do what you have to do when pregnant and you can't find clothes. I went to Walmart. They have XL in maternity. I could wear the shirts, as long as they had some stretch (otherwise, they didn't fit me massive bbs). I had a few really cute tops from them.

Good luck finding clothes! At least, you all can check out Lane Bryant now. :)

LadyD088

Isign - Gosh, I feel like we are following each other around!! LOL I am heading to Orlando for my very BF's baby shower Feb 9th!! I am now searching for a dress too. I only have been to LB (dress was $80 - no way!!) and ON (found nothing). I am hoping to score at Kohls because I will be lost at that point. Oh I checked Ebay yesterday too!! Good luck finding your dress. If you find one, let me know where!! I'll do the same. I'm thinking of just going with my regular size though...no maternity yet.

Oh I did check out the LB website and they did have a posibility for $40 - MUCH cheaper and I may go with that. I think it was under the casual section. Who knows!! I HATE buying clothes to begin with.

isign
01-21-2007, 07:43 AM
Stalker!! :D Ebay isn't going to be much help at all. ON had a dress for $25 but now it's back to regular price. I really wasn't impressed. I am just going to live in khaki's I think.

LadyD088
01-21-2007, 10:18 AM
LOL Girly Girl!!! No I don't think Ebay will be of any help either!! I saw some dresses when I want to ON yesterday but didn't like them - they were wrap styles. Honey, I live in SWEATS right now!! Gosh forbid if I have to go in public once I start showing...I will HAVE to find a pair of pants to wear then.

UGH, really need to find a dress. Going to do some shopping next weekend.

isign
04-28-2007, 09:43 AM
I'm 21w and while I still kind of have the split thing, it's alot more obvious that I'm pg not fat (belly shots in journal) I either wear pants that come up over my belly (maternity only now) or really loose waist pants that sit below. I've also noticed that wearing bikini panties helps with not adding to the split thing. HTH!

I'm kinda lurking around too. I'm gonna have the same split tummy problem I think too. Really watching my weight the first 30 weeks though and doctor is ok if I lose or maintain until the very end. Good thing the only thing that ever sounds good is soup, sandwiches and fruit.

Hello ladies!

I think that shortly I will start having wardrobe issues. I’m still wearing my work pants but my tops which are mostly knit are starting to look a bit “sad.” Though I haven’t gained any weight my stomach is pouching out which isn’t really wanted right now as we haven’t shared the news with friends or my employer. I’m dreading this coming week since it’s really becoming a challenge.

And ugh, I have the split belly too. I just purchased my first maternity top – though I won’t be wearing it for a while since we haven’t shared the news. But, I wanted to say that it made me look pregnant and not “extra fat.” I think the key was that the top was a stiffer cotton so it doesn’t hug the belly.

This is the top I am referring to, it’s at target and only $18.
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_5/601-5113873-9540116?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000N65V9Q

It’s those knit tops that really mess you up but I notice most tops seem to be knit. Grr!

I also got a pair of work pants for $18 and I’m impressed with how much I like them.
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_6/601-5113873-9540116?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000IZ4JDG

I think I could really love this thread so I hope it becomes a bit more active.

isign

23w - I just noticed my split belly is mostly gone, I know it's there so I think that's why I can see it. For me the roughest time clothes wise has been the very beginning. My pants were getting snug, which did great things for the top of my belly.

I'm glad you posted that top, I think I need it now :)

Anyone found a good bathingsuit? I'm thinking of getting one from Target, but am wondering how good the support is. My girls have gotten huge

papergirl
05-13-2007, 11:11 AM
Fortunately I think I get to skip the whole bathing suite scenario but I just saw that Motherhood Maternity has plus size swimwear.

I also came across this top that I might have to purchase. It’s only $17.00. I'm thinking it might work well for work if paired with a cardigan.
http://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=76391028&category_Name=Shirts&Category_Id=1028&MasterCategory_Id=7

Did I mention I’m really trying to keep my spending on clothing down. Anything under $20.00 seems like a good deal to me and it just means more money for maternity leave. :)

Anyone else taken belly shots? I haven't just yet but I'm still early. Hopefully at some point I'll have a cute round belly and will take some.

DelSol

*Sale Alert*

Lane Bryant has some maternity clothes on sale, looks like mostly winter items. Unfortunately under the Sale column they don't have a maternity section just have select Tops & Bottoms and you'll see the maternity clothes on sale with other items, that's how I came across that they were on sale. Now if only I could get pregnant soon, I’d be due in the winter months and could get some items on sale. :)

Ericka

Going to have fun trying to find pants that will fit me the rest of the pregnancy. My one pair of jeans is worn a lot and the other pair not so comfy in the belly plus they are hot. I have been wearing capris I got earlier in the season and hope I can find some more that are maternity ones.

I don't have belly shots yet, will soon, since I started taking them at 16 weeks with Easton (I will be 16 weeks tomorrow)

My belly is only cute and round when I have clothes over it. I like the over the belly pants cause it shapes my tummy a little more :D

I'll have to post some shots, I haven't done as many as I'd like. I'm 27W today!

Still no belly shots here. Add me to the list of people who need to be clothed with full panel pants to be in my prime pregnancy beauty. :D

Ericka – have you tried JC Penny’s or Target. I find their prices reasonable.

papergirl - thanks for the suggestion, haven't been out looking at clothes actually, figure will wait until I am about 20 weeks, so will see just how many pants I will need as I know the twins will be bigger by then.

I haven't been in here in ages! We finally have good news to share! I am 7w3d today and we just saw (and heard) the heartbeat. I can't wait until I can wear maternity clothes. I don't really have the split belly, I just have a big belly. If I dressed in maternity clothes now I could probably pass as pregnant  .

Dani – I have the perfect 9 month pregnancy belly at 15 weeks. :D

Ericka – I’m not wearing maternity clothes just yet but I can’t wait. I’d be in them if it weren’t that we haven’t shared the news so that would be odd. I have purchased a few things simply because they were on sale and can be worn in the upcoming months.

I want to join! Hello everyone!:D

We officially are tcc this month! I'm excited but also apprehensive because I carry alot of weight in my belly so I wonder if I'll even look pg or just really fat? I really wanted to wait and get to a certain weight but I figure at the rate I'm going I'll never get pg if I'm waiting on that perfect number. I was also encouraged by a website I found that talks about pregancy in plus size women and personal experiences of Plus size mothers. I can post it if anyone wants the site.

Forgive me for being clothing obsessed but it's just a matter of time before I need to transition to maternity clothing so I'm on a hunt for a few good pieces. I just received these in the mail, which I'm adoring. I highly recommend them

Work Pants from JCPenny's $20.00
http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx?DeptID=597&CatID=37790&CatTyp=DEP&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=SIZ&ItemID=10e53d0&ProdSeq=4&Cat=pants&Dep=WOMEN&PCat=MATERNITY&PCatID=29986&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=15&RecPtr=&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&RefPageName=CategoryAll.aspx&RefCatID=30931&RefDeptID=597&Page=1&CmCatId=597|29986|30931|37790

My only issue is the length (too long) but I figure that should be easy and cheap to fix.

I also picked up this Cami in Blueberry. I'm not usually a Cami wearer but I'm very happy with this top and can't wait to wear it. It skims the tummy area rather then being too snug. Perhaps I got a size too big but I like the fit.

Cami from JCPenny's $12.00

Thankful ~ Thanks for the site, I'm going to check it out now. I don't think it's odd to start buying stuff. I have a few outfits but it's mostly stuff I would pick up for a friend and then decide to get something else and kept it for myself. Or an outfit I would buy for my niece, only to find out it was to small so I'd keep it. I actually have a baby gap outfit that I bought about 7 years ago. I take it out every once in a while and just stare at it for a bit. But I'm weird like that.

Yay for being wedding date twins! Did you plan your wedding on WC by chance? I've lost track of all my date twins from WC. Just wondering if you might be one under a different name. I was JenG030505 there. (03/05/05 was our original date but we moved it back  )

papergirl ~ I'm loving those pants. You can't beat $20! I might have to pick up a pair even though I'm not preggo yet. Can't resist good deals and I'm going to need work pants either way, right. ;)

Thankful – I’m that girl who’s freaked about buying things before getting pregnant but I admire those who have the confidence to do it. Even now that I am pregnant I have a fear of actually purchasing things (just yet!). I wish I were better and more secure so I say go for it if you want.

Chris n Jen – The pants are GREAT. I like them so much that I plan to get the other color offered. And they don’t have a maternity look so I might be sporting these long after pregnancy. ;) If you click on the link I posted and then change the size to Woman it gives you a new view of the pants which is actually a better view.

I fell into the fashion bug buy online trap last time they had a big sale - I got a bunch of stuff on clearance for 2 dollars only half of it I can't wear b/c its super cheap crappy quality maternity wear that clings to every single dimple in the most disgustingly unflattering way. sadly it would have cost more to ship it back than it would to just keep it and use it for rags around the house so one pair of pants is staking up my tomatoes and one I used to wax my hardwood floors - LOL

ROTFLMAO!

This is too funny to read. Now I have heard people say that they found good deals here so I recently purchased some pants. They are beyond horrible and exactly as you describe "cheap crappy quality that clings to every single dimple." I'd send them back but but they were so cheap I'd end up being out money.

Now it seems I have a new set of pants that are only good for sitting in the house or cleaning in.

congrats! I did like 2 of the shirts I got they are still thin and cheap material but they're cute and do a good job of hiding my 'belly' but I wish I would have ordered them in a 2 or 3x b/c I ordered my normal pre-prego 1x and they're already getting a little clingy.

I swear I don’t know what happen but one day I woke up and suddenly my stomach was huge (or should I say huger then normal!). How does this happen? Last week I was prancing round in my normal clothes thinking how well they fit and how I had to be able to go another month in them. I’m still prancing but with a belly that sticks out way to far suddenly.

Not that I mind getting a belly but I think it’s a bit soon to be looking full fledge pregnant. Shouldn’t I still be looking fat? I’d be less freaked if it were not for the fact that I haven’t told the people I work for. I’m holding out for next Wed. when we do the big u/s. And thus far I have only gained 1 pound. Perhaps that won’t be the case at my appointment on Wednesday.

JBB – Let us know if you find anything good.

Today I have on maternity pants for the first time. I can’t believe I finally reached this point. It took us two years to conceive so I still have moments where it is all surreal.

paper - with my daughter I started showing around 20 weeks (found out I was pregnant with her at 14 weeks)

With my son I started showing around 14 weeks, I never had the basketball belly with him, I was just round all around my stomach, he didn't stick out at all. (Pic of my last belly shot is in my journal of my pregnancy with him)

This time around I am already showing and have been since about 12 weeks. DH mentioned to me last night you know I think you will have the big round belly you never had with the other kids. By 8 months I will be big I am sure.

I have two weddings come up. The one on the 21st I am a bridesmaid and my friend told me I could wear the same dress that I wore for my sister's wedding (it's long and black and that's all she cared about). I tried it on and basically it fits-just a little tight in the bust area-I think my chest has grown two sizes since my sister's wedding.
However the week after we have a wedding in CA (we live in NYC). And the wedding is black tie optional so I feel the bridesmaid dress is a little formal, plus by then it will be really uncomfortable so I just ordered the following from Lane Bryant Maternity:

http://i.charmingshoppes.com/is/image/LaneBryant/1042746?wid=204&hei=248&fmt=jpeg&qlt=95,0&op_sharpen=0&resMode=sharp

It looks pretty and comfy. We also have a wedding at the end of the summer so hopefully it will also work for that!

I haven't stopped in here much as we're still TTC. It's now been 19 months. We just bought a house so we've decided to just wait until we're settled a bit before seeing a RE. My doc seems pretty open to me moving on whenever we're ready.

Wow, it's been a while since this thread has been active. I suggest we get it going again.

I'm with you guys kanga & ABirney, we're still plugging along TTC#1. We are coming up to the 2 year mark next month, but I'm actually on cycle #26. It was discovered a couple of months ago that I have one blocked tube. So that is our main issue right now.

We are getting ready to move next month, so i'm just focusing on losing some weight and we're just seeing what happens in the meantime. After we're settled in, we'll try and find a RE and move forward.

So that's the update on me! :D

Just wanted to post an update:

Baby #2 due May 2008

I am still wary obviously because it is so early.

I have a feeling I will be in maternity pants before I know it, though I don't want to be because I don't want work to know. I did go out and buy some more size 18 pants and I think I will get a bella band to try. Last time I had the absolute hardest time getting maternity pants that fit well, thus I lived in only a few pairs (2 of which were capri pants, which won't do me much good this time). I am 22 lbs less than my pre-pregnancy weight but I think I will be in the same size pants since things are spread around different now. So my previous pants should fit (maybe even the ones I bought but never wore(or returned) because they were snug). I definitely need to add some additional pieces solely based on the time of the year (and my desire to shop!)

kanga1622

Congrats Jessey! I have your same fears when/if we get pg. My clothes now fit well so I'm worried that even a little bloating in early pg will give me away.

Well, today I had my first appointment with my new OB for my second pregnancy (I'm 9w1d) and I'm embarrassed to say that she gave me the lecture on weight. I know I'm overweight but she said that I should gain only 10-15 lbs. with this pregnancy. Last time I gained 30+ (which was clearly over what I should have gained) and this time I'm starting out about 10 lb. heavier. I can't even imagine how I will gain only 10-15 lbs. I felt very judged - though I know it's good to have the conversation about weight - but I hope things go okay and I figured where else would people understand but here? So I wanted to join.... They are going to refer me to a nutritionist which I am actually looking forward to.

I'd forgotten that I'd read on here recently that Lane Bryant now has maternity. I'll definitely have to check them out soon - I already seem to be showing. :o

jesseybell - congratulations on being 22 lbs less than your pre-pregnancy weight! That's great!

jesseybell
09-12-2007, 05:09 PM
twinnyme - I got the lecture the first time around- she said she would like me to gain only 10-15 lb or it could be possible to not gain anything!! She didn't say anything when I did go over, even when I had a couple large jumps close together. I wish I knew how much I gained before 10w, since my m/s stopped shortly after that. I'd love to not gain anything before my appointment, but I don't see that being possible with the nausea.

Oh yeah, I forgot about LB maternity - I need to go check that out. Maybe I'll have better luck with pants there (though when I was in the store yesterday looking at pre-maternity pants, in one style an 18 was on the snug size and in another style I probably could have gone with a 14). Why can't places be consistent???!!!

I had told my WW leader I was trying and asked her how many points I would need to add back in when I got pregnant. She said she couldn't legally answer that and I would have to ask my doctor.

jesseybell - hey, I'm not a member of this thread but I was lurking (I got pg with #2 with 20 extra lbs on me from #1) and saw your post. My doctor was fine with me doing WW Core since there is no counting, as long as I wasn't hungry. Maybe that would be an option for you? Congrats again! :)

Also, for you and twinnyme: I am now 30 weeks and only have gained 8 lbs as opposed to having gained 24 lbs at this point with DS. For some reason I haven't had any trouble gaining a small amount.

jesseybell
09-12-2007, 06:59 PM
thank you emmjay - I hadn't thought about Core since I haven't done in before. I'll into that....though seeing that the sight or smell of chicken made me want to get sick last time, getting enough protein sources could prove to be hard...that and I love carbs! Congrats on only gaining 8 so far.

And this is the first time I realized that I could purchase Lane Bryant (I live in Canada) online. I purchased the first pair of jeans I truly love at Lane Bryant while on vacation in July and am so excited that I don't have to be in the US to buy them.

It has been SO quiet in here!

Thankful- Congratulations!! Happy and Healthy 9 months, keep us posted on your ultrasound this week.

Ericka-a belated congratulations!! Twins run in my family, so I your pictures inspired me and made me hope that I get lucky and have twins!

I am 6 DPO and this 2 WW is killing me!! This is our 3rd month "offically" TTC, the first was w/o any charting, temping, no OPKs, nada. The second month was a WACKY cycle (very, very delayed O, likely due to work stress) and then this month has been a pretty good cycle (at least I think). http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1c8580

Anyhow, here I wait. I have been feeling really crampy, which makes me fearful that AF is just around the corner, rather than the BFP that I was hoping for.

Thankful1

Congrats Ericka and good luck to you Chi!

Thanks everyone for the congrats but it didn't stick. I started bleeding last week, went in to have my Beta number tested and it was a 3. The nurse said it should have been atleast 100. I was very upset and confused (I got three BFP's). I couldn't bring myself to even come on here to lurk. I'm not feeling as depressed now so I guess I'll just try to figure out the next step.

I'm not sure if I want to try again right away for fear it may happen again or go to an RE and try to get tested to see if there is something wrong that is preventable. I don't know if I can go through this again and then find out there was a pill or shot I could have taken to prevent it.

Just popping in to update our situation.... our first injectable/IUI cycle worked and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. We are due Aug. 29.

ABirney - Congrats! That is awesome it worked the first time.

I never updated here that I had a m/c back in November at 13 weeks. I immediately wanted to loose the 10 lbs I had gained in the first trimester so I wouldn't look pregnant anymore (I was showing so early and was going to tell work that day so I could start wearing maternity pants). I put some of it back on during the holidays so I am going back to WW to stay on track. We can start trying now, but I think we'll wait until spring for a winter baby. If I could get back to my wedding weight (15 lbs) by then I would be psyched.

thank you DaniML and ABirney. It was rough at first, mainly because I had gone through the whole first trimester and was just getting my energy back (not due to the m/c - we had seen a heart beat at 12w2d and not one at 12w6d). After it I threw myself into being really healthy which made me feel a million times better...of course that only lasted until Christmas and it has been slightly downhill since then. But starting yesterday I started counting WW points again and I already feel better about myself. I keep telling myself that I don't want to get pg again until I've hit 192 (which I did after the D&E) so I wonder if I am psychologically derailing myself now that we can ttc again. But I also know I am not ready to ttc again - loosing weight actually is too much fun right now!

jesseybell, I know how you feel. I had an m/c at almost 11 weeks last year (not quite through the first trimester, but close enough). We had seen the heartbeat and everything. We had to wait 3 months after the D&C to TTC again and when that time rolled around I just didn't feel ready. Take your time, there is no need to rush anything.

Last night M and I suffered what is being called a threatened miscarriage after bleeding and finding no gestational sack on the U/S. I will not know for 72 hours or so if it is a completed miscarriage due to more lab work needing to be done to confirm, but I am still suffering with some bleeding tonight. I am distraught over everything, but was told to not give up hope as it could still be alright. They said I could be not as far along as we thought and that's why we see no sac, but I am having a hard time trying to stay positive. So please keep us in your thoughts and prayers over all of this, we need all of the support that we can get.

DH and I received word an hour ago that we have lost our baby. We will not know more about what happened until we meet with the new doctor tomorrow. But right now I just need the time to be with my husband and family.

Can I please be removed from this thread or changed to TTC?

I am a mommy, ttc#2. I am heavier now then I was at 39 weeks pregnant with DD. I went on celexa after my daughter was born, don't know if that contributed to the weight gain or what. I got back down to my pre-pg weight, started the celexa then BAM, I gained 30 lbs in 6 months. I weaned off of the celexa back in 2007, in preparation for TTC. I am about a size 18 or so. Last doctor visit she said ideally I should lose 30 lbs or so which would put me back at around a size 12. I'm not really making any effort to lose atm, I know I should but I can't seem to get motivated.

I know this is an old thread but I didn't want to post this question in the regular pg forum.

I'm having a lot of pubic bone pain and my dr. said to get a support belt.
I have one from my last pg that I never used. It's from motherhood.
The problem is that due to my weight and the way my pg belly has grown, I have a lot of skin/fat that hangs low. I have no "underside" to my baby bump :( This is making it difficult to position the belt correctly.
Anyone have any solutions or ideas?
