I have started to get more into make-up. I used to only do eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss. However I have now ventured into eyeshadow and bronzer.

While I love my look now with all the components I have a hard time finding what seems like the perfect lipgloss texture color combo. I love MAC's colors but they are sooo thick/sticky that DH won't even kiss me when I have it on. I have recently started putting the MAC on with another gloss like maybeline to "thin" it out a bit. I would love to hear what you all love.

I hear really good things about the chanel glossimer...

Thanks

I love Fresh lip shines - Claret is my favorite.

I like Big Magic by Benefit and I also like a new one I have by Philosophy. I can't think of the name, something to do with red but it's not actually red.

I love Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. It is very smooth and not sticky like the other one you mentioned. And even though it looks very dark in the tube, it goes on in a fairly subtle color.

Wow you are really making me think. I LOVE lip gloss. A lot of my faves are from Bath and Body Works. They have a brand called Goldie that I am nuts about. My favorite shade is Doll, a very pale pink with a nice vanilla flavor. Their Bigelow Mentha line also rocks. Yum.

Channel has great glosses (love the irridescent 333) but they are pricey.

Colour Quench Lip Balm from Clarins

Love it! It's not sticky, but looks great and really moisturizes my lips.

I will continue the good things you've heard about Chanel Glossimer. It's smooth, not thick and sticky, and it comes in gorgeous colors. It does cost more, but every one I get, I use it down to the dregs (literally scraping the sides to get the last bit!).

LOL currently scraping the sides of my Chanel to get every last reapply out of it!

Currently my favorite two glosses are:
Goldie (bath and body works brand) in clean sheets - it is clear gloss
Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush in sugar high - clear gloss with a little sparkle. (I had a coupon for a free lip gloss at VS so I tried it and I really like it and it smells great)
What lip liner do you use with your glosses?
Don't laugh, but I use a cheapo drug store brand Wet n Wild in 66. It is the perfect neutral shade.

I am thinking I need to try the Channel gloss too.

I usually wear, MAC's lustreglass, it's not as sticky as the lipglass. I also like Lancome's juicy tubes, Dior kiss and the new Victoria's Secret gloss (I got the same coupon for the freebie and I really like it).

For lip pencils I usually use a MAC lip pencil or MAC cremeliner

Bobbi Brown. It's the one that stays on the longest for me.

The best by far is made by Guerlain. The colors and texture are literally perfect. Unlike the regular brands (Chanel, Clinique, etc.), Guerlain products seem to be rather hard to find. Usually Saks or Neimans will carry a good selection.

My favorites are C.O. Bigelow Mentha Liptints, Smashbox, and surprisingly enough, I also really like Neutrogena's MoistureShine Gloss in the Dreamy shade.

I am using a few colors from Mary Kay right now. I really like them. My favorite was Almond Glaze, but they discontinued it 2 or 3 years ago.

I am a lipgloss fanatic, but right now my absolute favorite is "My Favorite Lip Balm" by CO Bigelow, which is sold at Bath & Body Works. It really is my favorite! :) It smells so good, and is shiny and moisturizing. I have the one in the pot and in the tube. Both excellent, and not sticky!

Currently I am using Lip Fusion in Sexy, MAC in Nymphette or VG6 and NARS Baby Doll.

I like NARS glosses - not as thick/sticky as some others. I think I currently have 'Orgasm' in my purse, but I have a couple of theirs that I like.

Another one who adores chanel glossimers. It's the only gloss that I've found that I really like.

I like Lancome's juice rouge. It isn't quite a gloss, nor is it a lipstick. It is a nice, sheer, shiney inbetween.

Has anybody tried the Cover Girl long-wearing lipgloss? I'd love to try it for work, but if it's anything like Outlast or Lipfinity, I don't think I'd like it.

I've got a little bit of a lipgloss addiction. My favorite brands are Neutrogena MoistureShine and Clinique Glosswear for Lips. I like the consistency of both of these better than any others I have tried. And the Clinique Tenderheart shade (available in both the lip gloss and lip stick) is totally my holy grail color.

I really like Jaqua lip glosses. There is a 3 pack they sell that is perfect. Any shade you could need.

I love the Maybelline "Shiny-licious" lip glosses. I also love Rosebud Salve, when I don't need any color.

I too am always looking for a good gloss. We all know the kind...not sticky, nice color, tastes ok, doesn't break the bank. Well I found one last night. Bonnie Bell Lip Lites. I got it in Champagne Frost, which is a very natural neutral. I tried it this morning...color is great, not sticky, tastes great and the price under $4. Got it at Ulta. Love it. I think they had it in about 12 colors.

I use Mary Kay lip glosses, my fave right now is Creme and Sugar. My lip liner is chocolate from Ulta.

I am very, very picky about lipgloss, but I love Aquafina Hydrating Lip Oil. Not thick or sticky at all. It has a nice peppermint feel when you put it on, but later in the day it tastes sweet.

Actually, I just remembered another one--a cheap option. Don't know if they still carry it, I will have to check at my drugstore. But Bonne Bell made a mini-lipsmacker with a hint of color that was really quite genius. (The color I tried was perfect--a super-sheer chocolate. The flavor was a bit "I love Ralph Macchio and Matt Dillon Tiger Beat forever!" but I could deal with it.) Must investigate to see if they still have it.

I picked up a L'Oreal Juicy Tube in Pink Grapefruit and love it. I remembered after a few days that the thing I don't love about them is the ball tip applicator. It gets kind of goopy and even makes the cap kind of gicky sometimes. I still love it but it takes away points from it being an ultimate favorite.

I know. I wish they'd make it with the flat tip like the Lancome ones. Guess that accounts for the price difference. But the colors of the Color Juice are great. I have five or six, and have only had one miss so far (Tutti Fruitti was way too bright on me).

I love the candy apple color and watermelon crush color(i think that's what it is called). I have been trying to find a long lasting lipstick that shows on my lips like the candy apple lip gloss.

Thats one of my biggest pet peeves about lip gloss. Its really hard for me to apply that kind without a mirror. I love Maybellines Shinylicious because it has a slanted sponge applicator.

Even though it's a little sticky, I really like The Body Shop's Hi Shine Lip Treatment for the way it smoothes and softens my lips. I've never had my lips look so good mid-winter.

I have the Watermelon Crush color and it's fantastic! I've wanted to try the Candy Apple color, but I thought the color might be too dark on me. I may need to try it now!

I also have Cherry on Top, Exposed Rose, and Golden Glaze. I love the smell and like princesse mentioned, they're so cheap when you can get them BOGO and use coupons!

My other lip gloss faves are Neutrogena Moistureshine and Goldie. I also really liked the Dessert lipgloss. It was crazy expensive, at $21 bucks a tube, but it smelled great. When it went on clearance, I stocked up on the "Bunny" flavor. It's the best smell ever!
