Realtor Guarantees To Sell Your Home or Buys It From You?

I had no idea how to word the title since I'm pretty much clueless about this topic. My DH just accepted a job offer in city about four hours away, so we need to sell our home as fast as possible. A relative mentioned that some realtors guarantee the sale of your home within a certain number of days or months, OR they will buy the home from you. Does anyone know anything about this? What is the catch?? Do they just charge a higher commission if they sale it?

I believe the "catch" is that you have to agree on the selling/listing price and it's at the low-end of what the home should sell for.
