The Ellen Degeneres Show

I need help! Did anyone watch today?? They were supposed to reveal the identity of Big Daddy Cane (past years were J.T. and Sean Hayes). Either I totally missed it (and desperately need to know!) or they didn't show who BDC was!!!!!! Did anyone see it?

I was totally thinking the same thing when I watched it Friday! I have no clue...Sorry.:(

I'm glad it wasn't just me! I think whoever it was supposed to be must have backed out at the last minute so they just sort of played it down and didn't even address it! I wonder if she'll say anything when she comes back in the new year???

Did anyone see the show where the guy was supposed to propose, he got down on one knee and then Ellen interrupted him and said they were out of time.

I think they must have been part of the skit. Like one day, Ellen was going to tell you what 2 celebrities she saw while she was at lunch because it was REALLY shocking, but then the bells rang, another day the "oldest librarian in the world" came out but before she made her way to the chair the bells rang, and another day she was going to eat potentially poisonous fish, but got interrupted. I think these two were just more actors trying to play it up.

I also didn't see who big daddy cane was. I thought that I missed it.

Yea, that was all part of the hype to introduce the 12 days of giveaways and BDC. A little lame, I thought.

I just think Ellen is so darn funny, but when she tries too hard it's annoying. I actually sent an e-mail telling her how disappointed I was and to ask her to please tell us who it was supposed to be and what happened. I'm sure she'll listen to me!;)

Nothing! I even sent a funny (well, I thought it was funny) e-mail begging for the identity. On her first show back from the new year, she did a recap of 12 Days of Giveaways, etc., but still didn't mention anything about BDC!
