Crown molding with recessed lighting

Has anyone put crown molding up with lighting behind it? I'm not sure what the actual name is, but it's when you put it up an inch or two lower than the ceiling and put some sort of rope lighting in behind it. I've seen pictures before and I really want to do it in our bedroom but I haven't been able to convince DH. I saw pictures once on WC, but those boards are perpetually broken for me so if you have pictures, please post.
