Im in search of a good tried and true recipe for wings. My DD birthday party is this weekend and we decided on doing a pizza party so I want to make a big batch of wings for about 15 people to go with the pizza.
Any good recipes that makes a good amount of wings and not really really difficult.
Thanks!

Sweet Orange Glazed Chicken Wings
12 chicken wings (about 2 lb.), tips removed, wings cut in half, and skin removed if desired
1/3 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup orange marmalade
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 . Place chicken wings in resealable food storage plastic bag. Add all remaining ingredients; seal bag. Turn bag to coat wings. Refrigerate 4 to 24 hours to marinate, turning bag occasionally.
2 . Heat oven to 375°F. Drain chicken wings; reserve marinade. Place chicken on broiler pan.
3 . Bake at 375°F. for 45 to 60 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink next to bone, brushing occasionally with reserved marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
To make hot wings my DH has a fabulous sauce.
He mixes Blue Cheese dressing, hot sauce, and honey when making wings. If you want a thinner sauce add more hot sauce. The thinner it is of course the hotter it is.

My husband has a good recipe for hot wings which involves tossing w/ hot sauce, cooking them, and then sprinkling with brown sugar and maybe broiling (?) to carmelize - I think he may have gotten the recipe from Good Eats b/c he loves that show.

Our favorite is to marinate chicken wings overnight in a mixture of teriyaki sauce and Sriacha (Korean hot sauce). I don't have exact measurements, I just pour some teriyaki sauce in a large Pyrex dish and squirt in a few squirts of the hot sauce and stir together. Marinate overnight and then we do them on the grill. While they are grilling, brush them with more of the same mixture. They are so good. :)

We got this recipe direct from one of our favorite restaurants when we were arguing about the perfect temperature in which to bake them. We are from Maryland, so thats where the Old Bay comes in. These are AWESOME and very easy to make!
Old Bay Buffalo Wings
Package of chicken wings
Old Bay seasoning (optional)
Favorite wing sauce*
* Everyone has a favorite but DH and I just discovered Ken's Buffalo marinade and wing sauce and it is, quite simply, the best we have ever tasted. And we've tried alot!
Preheat oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with foil. Spray with baking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange wings on sheet. Sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning if desired. (we use ALOT of Old Bay!) Bake for one hour.
Remove from oven, place wings in large container (with a lid). Pour wing sauce over wings, cover with lid and shake thoroughly to coat. Serve!
Totally yummy. We make them at least once a week. :D

I used a mixture of hot sauce (Frank's hot sauce) and butter and then broil them. I believe there's a recipe on the side of the Franks hot sauce bottle.

jenjunum That's what we do too. It couldn't be simpler or more delicious and authentic. DH does add just a touch of honey to the final mix to cut some of the acidity.

Yeah the Franks hot sauce/butter is good. I'm not a huge fan of chicken wings. I actually prefer to make spicy chicken nuggets with the same sauce but with chicken tenderloins cut into bite sized pieces. It's healthier without the skin (although there's still butter so it's not exactly healthy) and I find eating chicken wings a pain since there's not a lot of meat per wing. Plus it's not so messy.
