Aaaaahhh, good choice! They look a little bit similar, so that would explain why I made the wrong connection. I looked at the Saddlerock website long enough to determine that the price & the location didn't quite match what we were looking for, but I do remember thinking it looked like a really nice place. :)

Oh, Saddlerock Ranch has gone up a LOT in price since we had our wedding there...the rental fee now would not match what I was looking for then, believe me! ;) But it wasn't quite so extreme back in 2003. I think it got featured on a tv show shortly after our wedding and sort of skyrocketed from there.

Belle - I loved my long veil. I only wore it for the ceremony and photos afterward .. until while walking down the beach for photos a wave came up and hit it. yikes! But it made me feel really bridal.

I had a fabulously tacky pair of Hollywould shoes that I had planned to wear but ended up being barefoot all day - I am sure you won't regret that decision either! ;)
