Today is the one-year anniversary of my mom's passing. It's been the toughest year of my life.

I'm not looking for sympathy here, just kind thoughts for my family and me.

Take care during this rough anniversary. I found that after the one year mark passed of my mother's death it was a bit easier to breathe. I had made it through all the firsts. Not saying the same will happen for you, grieving is unique for everyone. It also doesn't mean that you miss her less, I just hit the two year anniversary of my mom and it still hurts. Just in a different way.
