"Mad World" X-Box Commercial?

I have a question--who sings the song "Mad World" on the new X-Box commercial? I looked it up on a lyrics site, but I found several groups who sing it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

It's Gary Jules. My DH looked it up, because he *had* to know. ;) It's the same one as the one in the Donny Darco sound track.

Right after we watched Donnie Darko I tried to find the song on iTunes. It wasn't downloadable as a individual song, but I did find another perfect cover by Sucre. If you can't find it through iTunes or another music site, I recommend his cover, it's just as gorgeous and haunting. :)

Thank you so much for posting this! I have been loving this song since I heard it on CSI a year or so ago (even asked on here who sang it--LOL!). I just got an IPOD and saw the commercial and went searching for it. I'll have to check out the Sucre cover. There were a couple of other ones too--one was really fast and sounding nothing like it. There was also one by a woman that was really pretty as well. Thanks again! :)

My DH loves Gary Jules, but it is so difficult to buy his albums because he doesn't believe in big record companies. Dh has only found them at cdbaby.com. He's really good, though!
