Anyone care to talk about maintenance? I'm putting this in WW, but anyone who is interested in maintaining a loss (or just maintaining where they are) is more than welcome to post. I don't feel like I *fit* in the regular WW thread anymore because it's just a different mindset.
IMO, one of the hardest parts of weight loss is keeping it off is bridging the gap between 'yay, I lost it!' and, well... everything after. I hope we can use this thread to keep tabs on each other, so that we can stay on course and never have to return to a weight loss challenge or WW thread again.
On a workout forum I belong to, someone scoffed at maintainers telling us that we should always be on the quest for constant improvement - better, faster, stronger. I still want to improve my level of physical fitness but knowing that I'm at a size and a body composition I'm happy with - well, it's priceless! It's such a feeling of psychological freedom and for me, that's worth fighting for.
Anyone care to join? I'd be willing to post some stats, if you're interested. Ideas?
