I'm am getting married in Honolulu, HI in 2 weeks and I'm trying to find a flower to put in my hair. The florist has recomended an orchid but I don't want to go with that. I want a full flower. My hear was set on having a Gardenia in my hair but those aren't in season right now. Does anyone have any ideas?

Here's a list of flowers that are "in-season" in November:

I think Gardenias are in season right now, actually!

What about a cattleya orchid? They come in some beautiful shades of creamy white, orange, fuschia, etc.

If you're going to Hawaii, why not a hibiscus? There are some flowers on a tree (can't remember the name) that have a lemon-y scent. They are smaller; maybe with the circumfrence of a coffee cup and are white with a light yellow tinge. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Well the thing is that I'm from Guam so a hibiscus is something that's rather common and isn't considered to be "wedding" material. I've also thought about hair pins or a comb but haven't been able to find one online. Do bridal shops usually carry things like that??
