It's summer - let's talk sunglasses! I purchase at least one new pair a year so I have a small collection of high end sunglasses going. Let's go back in time shall we <insert Wayne's World time warp music here>...whilst in Italy on our honeymoon I purchased a pair of Chanels...

I had been wanting avaitor type sunglasses for awhile but had a hard time finding ones that fit my face well. These ones fit perfectly.

I have a pair of Gucci's similar to the first ones you posted but in amber that I got for our honeymoon, but I won't wear them anymore. On me, they look very dated. Not feeling the rhinestones anymore.

I have been wanting a pair of Bvlgari for forever. The only problem for me is tha I need to wear glasses or I'm practically blind, so that would be a lot of extra $$$$.

I am a sunglass whore! I just bought new gucci's with gold studs at Saks but I have 3 pair of chanels and 5 pair of guccis. I have others that are coach, D&G and Prada but I find them to be heavy so I don't wear them as often.

Where is the best place (brick and mortar preferably) to buy designer sunglasses? We don't have very high end dept. stores nearby, but our malls have Dillards and Belk. Can you find them in stores like that? We do have a Coach outlet, but I haven't noticed if they carry sunglasses or not.

As for me...I have always worn cheap sunglasses because they always seem to get scratched etc...but I broke down and bought a nice pair before our recent European vacation. I spent about 30 minutes at the Nordstrom sunglass counter and ended up with these from Tom Ford

I Love them, they are so light and comfortable and the best part is that Nordstrom is so great at customer service....they said if they scratched at all I just had to bring them back for replacement, which actually happened on vacation so I got a new pair no questions asked.

no scratches and didn't have to pay retail. love polarized lenses they really do make a difference, especially here in Cali. I had to do some research on the glasses (try it on first at an actual store that carries coach sunglasses) to see if I could tell the difference between the fakes and the authentic. It does take time, but afterwards you can tell the fakes really easily.
