Yay Lisa, Thanks for starting this! Maybe once we have a group, someone will agree to be TM and then we can add in all of the beginning posts like the other threads. I hope we have a lot of people joining us very soon - H & H 9 months to all of us!
** Sticky baby vibes ** all around.
I have to admit, I am SO nervous - but I got another really dark BFP this morning so feeling a little better about calling it. Just please, please, please - be a sticky bean!
when and how are you going to tell your DH? I had to wait for mine to get home from work yesterday too.
We already told the parents (over the phone) last night! eek! My grandmother turns 93 next week and I want to tell her she is going to be a great-grandmother for her birthday.
How do you feel?
I've felt different resently so thats why I tested. I'm not tired just sluggish. We're not tell anyone yet. We have already discussed it and we'll probably wait til Christmas. After lossing our daughter I think I just want a little time to get used to this and adjust before all our family knows. With our first 2 though we told everyone immediately!! With our second we had our son put on one of those Big Brother shirts. I took my Father in law over a hour before we realized what it said. It was so funny. I wish my Grandparents were still alive. Thats so cool Robyn. 93 huh? God Bless her!!
I dont know how I'll tell him but when he gets home at 2...he'll know!
Any thoughts Boy or Girl??
RobynScott
11-05-2006, 07:18 AM
I agree with waiting - but we had to tell the 'rents. It will be a while before we tell friends. I wanted to tell the parents in person but DH wanted to tell his mom right away - (couldn't even wait till today to do it in person!) and well, he wasn't telling his mom before I told my mom ;)
I'm hoping all goes well and we can tell friends around New Year's.
boy or girl - no clue - except for the fact that I think we BD'ed further from O, so maybe girl? I just want a healthy baby - to arrive nine months from now and no sooner. I think I'll be really worried till I'm out of the first tri - I just know it's so early now and anything can go wrong.
On the one hand I am trying not to get my hopes up - on the other, I am trying to remain positive - kwim?
Like I said, b/c I'm neurotic, I took another test this morning and it was pretty dark and came up within seconds - so I'm feeling good about that.
How about you? Any thoughts on gender?
I'll probably be pretty chatty in here b/c right now, I've got no one else to talk to about it, *lol* - though I may break down and tell my best friend.

Wow! Congratulations July 2007 Mommies from a June 2007 Mommy! H&H 9 months to you all.
RobynScott~ Try and relax (easier said than done, I know)... but the vast majority of confirmed pregnancies (+HPTs) will be perfectly healthy and go on to deliver healthy babies! Good luck and stay positive!

Thanks L & D nurse - I will stay positive and remind myself that won't jinx anything, right?
Lisa, do you mind if I post this morning's pic? I think this is what convinced me it was ok to join this thread. Using FMU (well, really 3 hour FMU since I had to get up to pee at 4 am) - I got this:
http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q234/robynscott06/IMG_1320.jpg within about 10 secs.
I am thinking of sending the below pic to my best friend - or using it as an avatar if I could figure it out (haha, jk about the avatar) ETA - guess I wasn't kidding about the avatar. I may change it though - don;t want to be obnoxious and /or jinx myself.

Thanks!!:p :D
NOT obnoxious AT ALL!
It is just SO normal to be excited and share those beautiful moment. Post away mama!!!:D
I'm tired and queasy, but nothing as bad as with my last prenancy. But it didn,t start before, oh, at least 6 weeks. So if you don't feel anything, you might be fine for a week or 2...enjoy that while it lasts!;)
RobynScott
11-05-2006, 08:20 AM
Thanks Val and Chelsea. I'm a little queasy this morning / last night - but nothing too bad. Sort of like I just need to eat.
I've also been hit by insomnia. And one other funny thing - in the July 2006 thread - there was a link to the pregnancy calendar at ivillage.com which is very cool (I will try and copy the link) - and I just set up my preg calendar and it says one of the symptoms is increased saliva - and you may fund yourself drooling!
ETA - ok, here is the link - Pregnancy Calendar (http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregnancy/calendar)
OMG - totally happened to me yesterday - I woke up (when I could finally sleep) - and my pillow was soaking wet! I'll take every 'symptom' I can get - I just want this pg to stick so bad - and I'm having such a hard time believing it's real - it's still very surreal!

Hi from a July 06 mommy! Last Halloween I found out I was pregnant.
It's a great month!

RobynScott: I know this is way easier said than done but try to just leave it in Gods hands. I was JUST like you in the beginning weeks. I don't think it was until week 10 I finally started to calm down. But seriously you worry throughout the whole process. I'm 15 1/2 weeks now and I still have my days where I worry. Infact tomorrow were having an U/S done to find out the gender and of course I'm excited but worried at the same time. Hang in there! I'm sure everything will be just fine. After your first apt. you'll feel a lot more calm. :) Congrats again very pretty BFP you have there! :)
Robyn, ITA with Tonys sweetie. Just relax. I think you are always worried to a degree you just have to keep it in check andI think it makes you aware of whats going on too. Just sit back and enjoy the next 9 months...its amazing!!
We my mom found the empty pregnancy box and she asked me if I tested. I feel awful but I lied straight to her. I'm just not ready for them to know. I'm still in shock and wanna get used to this. My DH comes home soon. I put the test in a gift bag(I know a little gross) and wrote his name on it. I'm hoping he remembers not to tell our family.. ;)
When are you going to the Dr.? Will you wait>
RobynScott
11-05-2006, 11:29 AM
Sorry about your mom - hope your DH gets the hint and remembers not to tell your fam.
I'm hoping to get into the doctor this week - I've had some pre-AF spotting the last few months which can be a sign of low prog - I'm hoping they'll squeeze me in for a blood test just to check my levels and for piece of mind. You?
If my ob/gyn practice won't see me I may just try and get into my primary dr - he's usually good about fitting in appts.
My DH promises he will be quiet with our little surprise;) I gave him the bag and he thought it was a cookie from our son so he got all excited and then opened and and just looked at me. He then said "you're pregnant?!!" I just smiled. He's excited.
I dont know when I'll got to the Dr. I just went about 1.5 weeks ago for my pap smear and check up so I guess I'll call and see when they suggest I go in.

OMG...I'm pregnant. I can't stop saying that. I've got the "what if it doesn't stick" worries all the time. Other than that, I'm crampy and my appetite is so much less than it was. I don't feel sick, I just don't feel hungry. And I've lost four pounds already (and I promise I am actually eating, I mean Halloween was just last week)
I've told my boss (more like a friend than a boss) and my dad. I'm sure my sil knows since I was asking her about pregnancy tests. I can't wait to tell everyone else. I'm telling my mom at Thanksgiving and il's at Christmas.
I'm pregnant!!!!!

Can I join? I tested this morning and got a BFP. I am so nervous about the whole thing but hopeful. Everyone knows. My husbands family is very close and supportive so we told all of them today at a birthday party. I haven't decided if I will tell my boss.
I feel crampy and have sore boobies. I have had both of these for about two weeks. I have no idea when I am due though because I can't remember when my last period was. So bad I know but we were kind of in a :this whole thing sucks lets not try" mood this month and so I never wrote it down...anywhere. So I plan on calling the dr. tomorrow and hopefully I can get an early ultrasound to date this thing!!! I am pretty sure it will be early July though. Can I stay even if it is late June? They are so far along already in their thread!

I'm so excited to be here but really nervous. I've been having blood drawn and hcg and progesterone levels tested and my hcg has been doubling nicely and my progesterone levels have been really good which makes me feel better but I can't wait for the first trimester to be over! I also have an ultrasound on Monday 13 Nov and hopefully we'll see the heartbeat.
Symptoms~ I've been more tired lately and I can smell EVERYTHING. And I'm occassionaly nauseous and my boobs hurt a little bit.
I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you ladies, congrats to you all!

Yay, Brown-eyed girl - you made it over here! Hi Annie and Kerry. I like saying it too! I'm PG! EEK!
Can I admit that I have been squeezing my boobs (to see if they still hurt) and obsessively checking TP all weekend? I know I've got to relax - and I will ....
I'm also not really hungry. Not feeling much of anything ...
In a few days, maybe we can start a more official thread that saves the posts at the beginning for pics and stuff?
I am happy to get it started but I don't think I would be a very good threadmistress (I have a hard enough time keeping up with the charting thread where I am TM!)
Annie - of course you can stay - glad we have a growing little group ;)

Hi and congrats to all of you! I got my BFP on October 28. DH and I took the test together and the giddiness ensued. I'd been so excited for someone to start a Jully '07 thread. I look forward to the next several months with you all.
I've had decreased appetite, sore boobs, weepiness and others I can't think of now. And insomnia. When do I get that pregnancy tiredness and urge to nap? I'd kill to be sleepy.
Currently waiting for OB's prenatal nurse to call me. I had sudden watery discharge yesterday, and all the books, etc. say to call if that happens, even early on. I've had sticky stuff all along, but this was different.
Also, I've been under a lot of stress the past week--life stressors plus pregnancy so far is making me feel emotionally horrible--I'm kind of a wreck to be honest with you. I am terrified of the effect this may be having on my body and the pregnancy (another reason I called OB's office).
I'm sorry to start out sounding so negative, but I don't want to wait unti I feel better to join, as I'm dying for other pregnant ladies to talk to.

Hi Ladies,
Well, I called my doctor this morning :) She told me they don't do blood tests anymore but I could come in and see the nurse practitioner this week to confirm PG. I asked for a blood test b/c I had pre-AF spotting in August and September and I've read that can be a sign of low progesterone, so I told them I wanted my levels checked.
In fact, when I went to the doctor for this issue in September, she prescribed prometrium but told me not to start it until my Oct. cycle. Well, since I was out of town and thought nothing would happen, I decided to wait till November to start.
Since I was going to be on prometrium (progesterone) - but I'm not, I guess that convinced them to let me get a blood test. So, I'm going to go tonight - hopefully have the results by tomorrow - and can confirm whether I need to be on any sort of progesterone supplement now. I will be so happy just to know my numbers - I'm going to ask to make sure it's a quantitative hcg (beta number) instead of just qualitative (whether or not you're pg).
That's it. Keeping my *fingers crossed*.
ivory - I'm with you on the insomnia. Earlier last week (before I knew) I was sleepy - then Thurs, Fri and Sat - insmonia.
I was so happy I was able to sleep last night!
Now, if I could concentrate on work today - well, that would be a good thing, wouldn't it?
talk to ya'll later!
- Robyn :)

Well, I called the dr office and I have my first appointment on 11/15. I can't believe I have to wait another week and a half! It's going to be a hard week.
My dad called this morning and left a message. I told him the news last night. So he called this morning and says..."hey, it's your dad. I was just calling to ask a question. Nothing important or has to be answered asap. But I was wondering if this is something that has been confirmed by a doctor." It made me smile this morning.
Yeah, More mommies!!!
I called my dr this morning and I have my 1st appt on the 15th! SHe said I will have to get blood work done (I hate needles!!) then my next appt probably wont be until I'm 12 weeks.
I have been so nausious too! I dont feel like eating at all.
Are you ladies going to find out the sex? I want to, my DH doesn't. We did with my DS and didnt with my DD, I'm too impatient to wait again!

Hi,
Count me in! I'm really terrible with posting regularly but I'll try. My father, whom I was very close with, passed away at the end of Septemeber. I REALLY wanted to be able to tell my father that I was pregnant while he was still alive, but it didn't work out that way. We conceived on the first try with our DD, and it's ironic that we were unable to conceive this time for 6 cycles, but as soon as my father passed away I got pregnant. Even though things didn't work out the way I wanted them to, I think this was how it was meant to be. I'm hoping for a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. My family can use some good news.
We haven't told anyone about the pregnancy yet. I'll definitely wait until after I see a heartbeat and maybe a little bit longer. The first person I'll tell is my grandmother, my father's mother. We waited until the 2nd trimester to tell with our 1st. It wasn't a big deal because I didn't start to show until after the 20th week. I don't think that's going to work this time around. I have a feeling I'll start to show much earlier.
My biggest symptom so far has been fatigue. I don't have sore bbs or ms yet like I did the last time. I've also been hungrier than usual and get headaches.
My first ob appointment is Nov. 14

Welcome madmartian and Bibay!
You've both had BFP's for a while - where've you been?
Madmartian - both DH's and my father have passed away (though not as recently as yours). I am so sorry to hear of your loss - how amazing that you conceived the first cycle after he passed away!
If you'd ever like to talk about it (either here or via PM) - I've been there and I'm available.
Welcome to all of the new mommies!
Does everyone think its ok if I start the new thread tonight? Any volunteers for threadmistress? (or co-threadmistress?)
ETA - Please post your info and new updates in red - it makes it much easier to keep up - thanks! ;)
Today's not a busy day (and I'm slightly distracted ;)) - so I'm posting a ton - won't always be this bad, I promise! :D (well, I'll try ;0)
I'll be a Co TM. Maybe that help everyone if there was a few of us.

Sounds good. As the thread grows, we may need one more - but I guess we can see. I'll start the thread tonight and PM you the info.
Can I admit that I am so scared to be really active in this thread and then have something happen? I'm trying to balance my superstitious and nervous side against positive thoughts.
One thing I've learned is I'm not in control of anything so just take it one day at a time. Dont let fear scare you! Enjoy your little one!
Robyn The first page has everyone info on it in EDD order. I'll try to help but tomorrow my DS is home and I dont thin k I'll get anything done then.
The Feb 2007 mommies have a cool thread ;P

sounds good - I will check it out tonight - there's no good tv on tonight anyway. This, of course is all provided that I am able to stay awake :)
Maybe as we grow we'll see if we need another TM? (unless anyone else wants to volunteer now, ;))

This is my first time joining an official group thread. Even when wedding planning on WC. So anyway, I have to get used to how this all goes.
RobynScott & ceaserbride - I also have the nice insomnia/tiredness combo. I also will wake up at ~4-5 a.m. and can't get back to sleep. I've had friends who had the early waking too.
RobynScott - I can really relate to how you're feeling. I never knew I'd be so scared being pregnant and afraid to believe lest something happen. It's like I have to whisper if I try to say words like "baby" or "mommy."
One thing I've learned is I'm not in control of anything so just take it one day at a time. Dont let fear scare you! Lisa - This is a great attitude and I'm trying to get there.
madmartian - Congrats, and I'm sorry that this is a bitter sweet time for you.
I went to the doctor today. I'd called about my watery discharge and history of depression (pregnancy's making it worse), and the doc had me come in because of the psych issues. I had bloodwork, a quick exam and talked to the doc--I was surprised they'd see me so soon and feel well taken care of. Hope that helps my anxiety. She decided to have me back for an ultrasound next week, but now I realize I'm not sure why since there weren't concerns. Perhaps because I'm so nervous?

Hi!
Please add me to the list of July 2007 mommies. OMG I can't believe I am saying this... DH and I have been thinking about TTC for the past 6 months or so, but October was the first month we actually "tried". So needless to say, we are still in a bit in shock about our BFP; but in a good way!
I have blood work scheduled for tomorrow and once the pregnancy is confirmed they will schedule my first dr. appointment.
I think we are going to wait until we see everyone at Christmas to spread the good news.
Anyway, here is a bit about me...

Welcome to all the new July mommies!!! I can't believe I went to work and came back and there are so many more. So exciting!!
I called my dr. first thing this morning and since I don't know when I am due my first appt is tomorrow! I was in shock when she said it could be that soon. I am pretty sure I will get a ultrasound but she never said for sure. So hopefully tomorrow I will have a date! Besides that I still just have sore bb's and that awful acid. I check my bb's a million times a day to make sure they are still sore too. Oh and I to go check the TP multiple times a day.
We will find out the sex of the baby. We don't wait well:)!

As one of the co-TM for that thread, I say thanks and glad that you think we have a cool thread. ;) If you have any questions or need help, just send a PM to me or the group ID.
Congratulations to all of you from a June 05 and a February 2007 mommy. It's the most wonderful journey you'll ever take. It's exciting, never boring, one that changes your life forever, and soon you'll be congratulating the July 2008 mommies!
I submitted our new user name so hopefully by the end of the day (as long as my 3 yr old cooperiates;) :D ) we should be up and running. Robyn I will PM you the user name and password.
Any other volunteers to Co-TM?
Everything is going good here. I took another test yesterday just to check...still positive:D I'll try to check back in later.

July mommies, where are you? I need people to obsess with. Will post later about my night last night - trying to get my blood test.
Long story short - didn't have blood taken till this morning - Crossing my fingers I will still be able to get results by the end of the day.

Ooh! I'm here!
RobynScott: Hoping you get you're results by the end of the day.
Jennifer76: Welcome:D & Congratulations!
Annie- You are so lucky that you're first appointment is tomorrow! I so jealous:(
Ivory- Your Dr. sounds so great. Glad she put your mind to rest. Ultrasound next week...Ugh, now I'm really jealous. I don't even get to *see* my Dr. until the 24th!
I'm also one who is so scared of a miscarriage...I try not to over analize but I already love this little bean (okay even smaller than a bean) in my belly and I just want everything to turn out perfectly for it.
I had my first bout of nausia this morning too...Booo! It wasn't fun. Although I was never actually sick, I thought I was going to be.

I'm here, I'm here. Well, I took my 9th preg test this morning...still positive. I don't know why I don't belive it. I called my dr this morning and talked to the NP. I was asking for a blood test to calm my fears until my appointment next week. She said no. She asked if I took a test at home and if it came back positive, I obviously said yes...she said there was absolutely no reason to do the blood test. And yes, she's right...but I'm so freaking nervous right now. I just have to calm down and actually let time pass for once in my life.
I still don't feel sick. My appetite has def. picked back up. And I'm am so tired of waking up so darn early. Today it was 3:30 am!!! I tried and tried to get back to sleep, but finally gave up and got up at 5:30. I'm really hoping to sleep all night tonight.

Well, I took my 9th preg test this morning...still positive.
Wow - you're even worse than me, *lol* - though I have been tempted. I had a blood test this morning and I'm so scared it will say I'm not PG (even though I have no reason to believe that)
To reassure you though, the only reason I am getting a blood test is b/c I called and requested it to make sure I am not having progesterone issues (based on past pre-AF spotting) - otherwise, they wouldn't be giving me a blood test either. Just waiting on the results now ...
