Christmas Card Exchange this year?

We all did a Christmas card exchange on the other site, and I was wondering if we'd have it over here this year. I'd be willing to run it if there were no other volunteers.

I believe it was KristyK who did the Christmas card exchange last year. You are assigned a group, and each group consists of 10 people, so you're only sending out 9 cards.

I was wondering that too. I used to lurk over at UW and one day came across some of her posts and noticed she started a journal over there. I figured she was closing up shop at WC and moving over there, but she suddenly stopped posting in both places. Haven't seen her since. She may have registered under a new name somewhere.

Basicaly the way it works is, people are divided up into groups in which they will send cards to the others in their group. The cards can be store bought or home made. People have a date range in which they need to send the card by, usually up to the last days before Christmas. It is so much fun to send and receive the cards :)

I've decided to start early and start collecting addresses now. This is the message I've been sending out to those of you who already "signed up"...

"Hello girls! Thanks so much for signing up in the Christmas Card Exchange thead! I know I said I'd wait until November to get all of your addresses, but I thought I'd get a head start since I have no idea how busy all of our holidays will be.

I think so. I've received cards from almost everyone in the group, and I sent mine out last Monday.

I sent mine out to group 1 late last week, so you all should be getting them soon. I've actually been traveling for over a week, so I'm excited to go home and see what waiting in my mail stack :)

I'm not actually a dead-beat- things have just gotten a little crazy over here. (It's amazing what buying a house will do to your schedule!)
The cards went out today, so they'll probably get there after Christmas, but at least they'll get there! Sorry!!!!! :o :o

Oh, and thanks for the ones you've sent. They are fabulous.
