Please help...I took my dog (9 human years Silky Terrier named Princess) to the vet since she has a film over her left eye. They gave her blood work to check to see if she had diabetes or anything wrong with her kidneys etc and all of her tests were normal. The vet recommended we take her to an optomologist and have her eye looked at. Has anyone taken their dog for cataract surgery? If so, how much did it cost? We don't have pet insurance and I would like to get an idea of how much we will need to spend to help her. Any help would be appreciated.
