WHO ARE WE ???
A group of CC ladies who are Trying To Concieve (TTC) We would love to hear about what you are going through. We understand the trials, tribulations and many doctor appointments that you are facing on this journey into parenthood. No question is too "stupid", asked too often, nor is any "vent" that you may have unnecessary.

This thread may move quickly at times, but don't be afraid to jump in on the last page. You don't have to read through the entire thread before you join us. The first few posts on page one are some introductory info to help everyone out as well as provide many useful links to other sites with in depth information on certain topics. A link to the new thread is always posted at the end of the current thread to help everyone find their way over to the most recent "Seeing What happens" thread. This thread starts at the beginning of each new month.

DelSol Thanks for the babydust! Loved how you did it! My sister is okay, she had have to blood drawn yesterday and injected directly into her spine so it would basically form a patch over the lumbar puncture site, which is supposed to end the headache that she had. It wasn't easy, they had draw 15 cc's of blood (which is 3 huge tubes) and she was dehydrated. They had to stick her multiple times and she ended up almost passing out. :( She's in alot of pain today from all of that. I'm going to stop by her house on my way home from work to bring her her favorite cookies (Girl Scout Thin Mints) and bring her BF my homemade chili for dinner so neither of them have to worry about cooking. I feel so badly for her.

Okay, so wow, we have many new members! :D

Aw ladies, thanks for the welcome back. :D

Tenny I'm in the boring part of my cycle too!

This month I'm doing my best to follow "Deanna's Plan:"

I never sufferend a pregnancy lost but that site "popped" up a bit in some discussions I came across on other boards... so why not??? ;)

Welcome to November everyone. I am either going to be testing tomorrow or Thursday for the first time with my CBEFM... since it is right after AF, I know I am not fertile, but I am excited to begin the process of the monitor learning about me this month...I am hoping it will be what guides us to our BFP!

It's not even November and we're on page three already. I hope this is a lucky month for many of us. My DH is out of town for two days so nothing exciting going on. I'm still waiting for AF to show so I can start all over. No word from my doctor yet. I'm on day 52 i think.

Jessica: I heard about Deanna's plan a few weeks ago. Who knows maybe it really does work.

Heidi: Good luck with your CBEFM.

pride&prejudice: Girl you are my role model. You have such willpower!!!

RP from Charting:

Me - CD 25 I think. Temp dropped drastically this morning. I wasn't as tired last night but DH and I got in a bad argument so we didn't BD at all. I also haven't been feeling great about the way I look. I was watching a Baby Story last night (tivo'd it) and one of the episodes I watched the woman gained 50 lbs. I can't imagine gaining that much wait when I'm PG. I'd really like to drop about 10 lbs before that so I'm going to start trying to reduce my carbs. I eat way too many carbs daily. That's my weakness. I won't cut it out completely just limit it. Hopefully I can do it. Last night's opk was negative again. Had creamy CM yesterday. I have no idea if my body is gearing up to O or if its going to turn into an annovulatory cycle. Update on my mom, she had a sonogram done of another lump her doctor found in her other breast. He thinks it might be a tumor. We should hear something today. It appears that the blood thinners are doing their job so who knows maybe she can go home soon. I think today I'm going to skip going to the hospital after work. It's just exhausting me to go everyday. So I think instead I'm going to go to the gym to let off some steam. If I don't go there then I'll go home and take a nap for sure. I guess it all depends on which way my car takes me home. LOL

I did with my first pregnancy but it came off pretty quickly. My second preg. I gained 35 and I think it was much harder the second time around so I'm a little freaked out about the 3rd time! But You do you best and it will all come off sooner or later;)
Af is due sometime this week. My cycles have been so irregular but I'm praying no AF

Thanks for the warm welcome and pray all you get your BFP!!!

Happpppppyyyyyyyyyyy November and BABY DUST allllllll around!!!!

All is well here. I am just trying not to think of maybe being prego!! I am about 6 or 7 days since ovulation so I am just trying to be patient, but who am I kidding!!!!!!!!!!!! I obsess over ever single twinge of anything in my body and I grab my boobs about 100 times a day!! Welcome to this crazy world of TTC right!!

Sheesh, this thread is just tearing up the pages and its only November 1st!

Sammy I was able to go from 150 lbs to 118 by doing the South Beach Diet, which is of course limiting carbs. I will tell you that for me, the diet alone is not enough. I am always going to be one of those people that MUST exercise too in order to maintain. It sucks. I would give anything to be able to eat all that I want to! And like you, I was totally hooked on carbs! But its been over 3 years since I've eaten white bread, pretzels, pasta, white rice, etc. You get used to it after awhile. Anyway, I hope you get that +OPK today!

Heidi Let us know how that monitor works out for you. Hopefully it gets you your BFP!

ceaserbride Keeping my fingers crossed for you BIG TIME!!

pride Stay strong girl! You can hold out another few days!! :D

HEW?8 You and I are pretty close together. AF is due next week for me. Hopefully this is our lucky month!

Lisa Hope AF stays away for you!

mel Hope it goes quick so you can get busy on next cycle!

Jenn Hope AF shows up quickly for you.

ME CD22 and you know what that means. I'm in the 2WW and anxiously awaiting the time when we will know if we were successful last week! Keeping my fingers crossed big time!

Kym - I actually have done the south beach diet before and lost 15 lbs on it within a month. Granted I hated every minute of the first 2 weeks, but it worked. I haven't been able to get back on that diet though. It's just so hard.

AF should show up tomorrow or the next couple days.... I did good this month not obsessing too much... although it's probably because if I am PG it's the immaculate conception all over again! ;)

Pride, Hope AF stays away for you, when do you plan on testing?

Sammy, sorry about the fight with DH, hope you are able to get some BDing in, some women have a temp drop on O day or the day before so good luck!!

Lisa I hope AF doesn't find you this week, good luck!

HEW?B, when will you be testing? I'm pretty close to you at 4-5 dpo, good luck with the last week of your 2ww

Kym, I hope the last week of your 2ww flies by and ends with a BFP, good luck!!

Jen, I hope your wrong on having no chance of a BFP, good luck!

Well, it seems a lot of us are starting the last week of our 2ww, we should have a lot of BFPs next week, good luck to everyone!!

Me, 4-5 DPO, I'm hoping 4 dpo because if its 5 then I have no chance, I will probably be testing next wednesday or friday. So far no FPS, but its still very early, I'm sure I will imagine quite a few in the next week:p

teacher_jessica ~ welcome back!

APhiJill ~ Welcome! I love your avatar!

chelsea ~ I hope the kids enjoyed trick or treating.

heidi ~ good luck testing, I hope the results were positive.

HEW?B ~ LOL about the boob grabbing, I poke mine to see if it hurts, just praying I don't get caught at work doing it.

jimmysgirl ~ I hope the 2ww goes by fast, I'm sure I'll be joining you soon.

melandtim ~ someone told me the same thing about diets & gallbladders, I think it's because you can't handle the fat intake as much.

jen ~ I hope you are wrong, http://www.kenandkeli.com/images/smilies/noaf.gif

Me ~ CD42, temps jumped up a little bit so I suspect my O is around the corner. DH was a good sport last night because his back was bothering him but we DTD anyway, even though he wanted it to be a quickie it never turns out that way. One more day until my appointment. We've been bding every other day since CD10 to keep our bases covered. Now, I'm just crossing my fingers that I O sometime soon! My temp is hovering at pretty much the same spot it was at yesterday. I hate waiting to O. I. Hate. It.

Mel~ Good luck in your upcoming cycle!!! :)

Pride~ When are you testing?

Sammy~ I always have a temp drop somewhere in the 3 days before I O so I hope that's a good sign for you!

Lisa~ I hope this is your month!

Kym~ The 2ww is such a crazy spot to find yourself. I hope it zips right by and that it ends in a bfp!!!

Jen~ I'm going to hope you actually do have a chance this cycle... you never know! ;)

Chelsea524~ I hope you're 4dpo too!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

allison~ I hope that AF stays away too!

lisa~ Hope no AF shows!

FSUSammy~ I honestly do not know how I'm doing it. I think the trip, and then the whole small town stuff and then halloween last night have been doing it for keeping my mind off of it, and going to the store! I hope everything is well with you mom. Highly reccomend the gym!!! Go girl, you will feel better. I didn't want to go last night becuase of my back, but I'm so glad I did now. I'm always more awake when I do too. :)

melandtim~ Hope AF arrives soon.

teacherjessica~ Welcome!

Me~ CD 26 here. Halloween kept me from even thinking of getting and test! I went to the gym and then had to hurry home for the trick-or-treaters. I'm hoping that I can hold out to test till this weekend. I am so confused with this cycle. No FPS like last time. Yesterday I started haveing these weird pains in my stomache. Like AF, but they were quicker, to the side and then gone. And today I have this pulling sensation at my sides. So I figured that with AF near and last week of eating out on my trip, I gained weight, no. I actually lost 1/2 a pound from before the trip. I'm happy with that, and I'm trying so hard not to snack because right now I feel like I could eat all day and be ok. hehehe I guess wondering about these things is keeping me from testing. :o

ETA: teacherjessica~ If I can hold out, Saturday. I'm so dying to tonight, so hopefully I can keep up the willpower!

Jen - I am having my gall bladder out tomorrow. I have been so sick for about a month and a half. Right now I am having a major attack and feel miserable. The surgeoun let me put it off for a couple weeks because of some major competitions with my horses. I am so glad this happened before I got pg or it could have been so worse.

Looty - good luck! Hope you O soon!

CD 2 for me! AF arrived yesterday afternoon and we are onto cycle #7. Yay so she will be about finished by tomorrow!!!! looty - Glad you didn't have any major side effects from clomid.

melandtim - Yay for AF showing up. That way you don't have horrible cramps while in surgery tomorrow. Hopefully this cycle will be better for you since you'll be in better health!!!!

Me- CD 25 today. Still haven't O'd. Last night's opk was once again negative. I've been taking opks since CD 10 and I refuse to run out and buy anymore this cycle. I should have 6 left (1 cheap internet one, 1 CBE Digital, 3 regular CBE's, and 1 Answer One-Step). If I run out of opks then tough I'm not wasting anymore money on them!!! Ovusoft is estimating O on Saturday, based on my previous cycles. Who knows really. I have a plan though....I go tomorrow for my sonogram and for a possible PG test. I will insist that the PG test be a blood test and that they test my progesterone levels too. My progesterone should be rather low since I haven't O'd yet. That should prove to the doctor that clomid didn't work for me even though he insisted last week that I have O'd. I'll see the doc on Monday so I'll also ask him if I could be tested for PCOS which requires CD 3 bloodwork. And I'm going to ask him what he thinks about charting. I don't want to come out and tell him I'm charting because it would really make me mad if he insulted it and me for doing it. I rather pretend that I just found out about it and want his opinion. If he won't up my clomid dose for next cycle OR refuses to test me for PCOS OR extremely upsets me about the charting thing I'm switching doctors. LOL Oh as for my mom, she might have surgery today to remove the two bumps in her breasts. Her doctor rather take them out now than have to remove them later. I'm waiting to hear from her to see if her bloodwork came back ok for her to go into surgery. They had to reverse the effects of the blood thinners yesterday and they were supposed to test her blood early this a.m. to see if it was good enough for surgery.

Don't ask me how, but I held out last night and this morning. So tomorrow morning will be the first I test. No sypmtoms. Honest to gosh this is freaking me out. Nothing like last time! Just a little bit of pulling at the sides yesterday, and then in the afternoon, my muscles were getting slight twinges in my upper abs and much lower. I'm trying not to read into anything to not get my hopes up. Even though I'm ready to test, I'm almost giving up on this cycle. I am on CD 7, and did first O test with CBEFM. Of course, the test read low fertility as AF just ended, but it is neat to start building a data log of my hormones :) The FM is very easy to use, and I hope it works despite my sometimes long cycles past 42 days.

bellabonga Thanks for stopping in! Hope everything is going well with your pregnancy! :D

ME: CD23. Can it go any sloooooooooowwwwwweeeeerrrrr??? I'm going out of my mind here! Is it okay to say that I am having FPS but don't want to jinx myself by typing it here?? And its one I've haven't had at all yet. Trying so hard not to get my hopes up, but its darn near impossible not to. Its all I'm thinking about!

allison ~ thanks, I'm feeling positive so that is a start.

teacher_jessica ~ Fingers crossed you see a +OPK.

pride&prejudice ~ good luck testing. Fingers crossed for you.

Tenny ~Thanks, my temp went down so I'm thinking my O is around the corner.

dancn226 ~ you should be gearing up for some BDing, good luck!

looty ~ I hope you O soon.

APhiJil ~ green tea worked for me, I started last week and have been drinking it ever since I noticed a difference.

jimmysgirl ~ I hope your FPS turns out to be a real one!

me ~ CD43, almost lost track of the Cd. Today is my appointment. I've printed out some of my charts and the overlays. What is really weird and I didn't see this before is that FF is saying I possible went triphasic on CD 36, when I keep my temps for CD16 & CD17 in. Hmmm makes me wonder what is going on, I'll find out at 4PM EST.

Congrats Ceasarbride! Such great news!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! This thread moves fast and I haven't gotten fully caught up, so sorry if I don't reply to everyone here yet.

Sammy- I hope your mom is able to have her surgery tomorrow. Good luck at your doctor's appointment and I hope your doctor is receptive to your ideas.
DelSol- Good luck at your appointment today!
Pride - I'll cross my fingers for you!
loving- I think I'm similar to you in cycle right now, just waiting for AF. Hopefully your's doesn't come for you though w/ a BFP!
jimmysgirl- Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too!

I have waiting for AF to even begin this first cycle and expect anyday now, so I'm just getting anxious. I need to re-read some parts of TCOYF I think to refresh my mind but the last two days I have remembered to take my temperature so that's at least a start for me. I think I'll buy some OPK's this weekend so I have some at home.

Well, I'm on CD18 and have yet to have a +opk but I'm really starting to wonder if I just missed my surge. But, my temps aren't shedding any light on the situation at all since they've been hovering at about the same temp for the past 3 days??? I guess I'll just keep taking the opk's until I see a definite shift in temps.

In totally random news, I have a good friend who watched a movie called, "What the bleep do we know?" or something like that and she loved it. She said a lot of it had to do with how our own thoughts and feelings affect the outcomes of things. So, she taped the phrase, "I WILL GET PREGNANT" to a water bottle I keep at my desk. :p It's kind of funny because I do find myself reading the statement repeatedly throughout the day. Maybe my eggs will listen to me this month!!! I keep the water bottle only at my desk though because I certainly don't want my students or random people reading it!

dancn226~ I hope the grapefruit juice works for you!!!

DelSol~ Good luck at your appointment today! Possibly triphasic eh? That's a good thing!

jimmysgirl424~ So, what is this mysterious fps? :p I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

loving624~ Well, I hope you're wrong and that you get your bfp this month but you have a great attitude for next month if AF does show.

FSUSammy~ I hope your mom gets cleared for her surgery today and that all goes well! Also, you and I need to send each other some "Ovulation Dust" or something! :D I hope you catch that eggie over the next day or two!

Heidi9771~ How exciting to be trying out the monitor! I'll be following along closely because if things don't work out for us again this month I think I'll be adding that to my Christmas list!

Lisa~ Things sound promising!!! I'm wishing you lots and lots and lots of luck and hoping you get your bfp!

pride&prejudice~ Good luck testing!!! It would be so great to see some more bfp's to start out our month.

melandtim~ I'm sorry AF showed! :( You and I happen to be on the same cycle # though. Perhaps Cycle 7 will be lucky for the both of us! :D

APhiJill~ Sounds like you've got a great plan of action for this cycle!!!

looty~ Good luck with the Clomid, and I'm glad you didn't suffer many side effects. ;) Are you a teacher? I was reading where you mentioned hoping to have part of your summer vacation for baby time... that is my hope too!

Tenny~ I know that 7/7/07 would have been a pretty fun due date to have but now we'll have to cross our fingers that you get that summer baby on this try!!! I'm glad you have a good feeling about this month too because I'm feeling really good about it too!!!

CeaserBride~ Congrats again!!! So exciting and probably the best birthday present you've ever received!!!

teacherjessica~ Thanks! I'm just so scared to read into anything, since the last two cycles were full of FPS.

BsstGirl~ Thanks!

dancn~ I didn't try the grapefruit (break out in hives) but did the green did almost every day at the begining of the cycle and did notice a difference in CM. Maybe try that?

DelSol~ Thanks!

jimmy'sgirl~ Aww thanks. That just made my day. :) I just can't wait till tomorrow.

melandtim~ Thanks!

FSUSammy~ Thanks! And I hope that your mom makes out all right tomorrow. At least they caught the thin blood now. My dad, they didn't realize it till the morning he had to leave his room for surgery!

It is so hard to work today! Everytime I feel anysort of twinge, I think AF is going to arrive and run off to the bathroom to check. I just wish I could fast forward through tonight to tomorrow morning! All this joy today and my old boss had to ruin it. There is a bunch of crap involved with my momve (a year ago), and I had to send this email which I copied my current boss while I was on travel so she could take care of it. Well he yelled at me for slamming him by CC'ing my boss and secretary. That wasn't even it. Oh well, at least I have a free pass today to finally get the rest of my office stuff. I wanted to cry for him calling me mean.

melandtim, we'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Hope everything goes well. If you need anything, holler!

A belated congrats to Cesarbride on your BFP! WOO HOO. Hope that's a sign that it's a good month for the rest of us.

FSU, hope your mom's surgery goes well.

Pride, crossing my fingers for you.

OK, this thread moves way too fast for me and I can't keep up but I'm trying. I hope it's easier when I know you all better. Forgive me!

Me: I've lost track of my CD. 54? 55? My obgyn never called me back. I think I'll retest since I have another one but I'm waiting for my DH to return to town, just in case it's a BFP, though I don't think it will be. Tried two bookstores for TCOYF yesterday on my day off and though both computers said that they had a copy, no one could find it! I'm starting to wonder if it's a sign or something! I did buy a BBT at Target so if I ever get AF, I think I'll start temping just to see if I can figure out my body. But TCOYF would help. Guess I'll order it online!

Jenn (and Bill) - A friend of mine tried ordering TCOYF online at amazon and they weren't going to ship it out for like a month. She tried Barnes and Nobles and they were at a week. She then ordered it form early-pregnancy-tests.com and it was shipped the next day. Just thought I'd let you know.

Jimmys - Hmmm, mighty interesting FPS you've got there ;)

Teacher_Jessica - Yay! You're back! I missed you around here :D

Okay, I'm feeling lazy about s/o's while I'm at this early part of my cycle so I'll just say good luck to everyone BDing/Testing/Etc. I can't wait to see some more BFPs!

Well, this is looking to be the month we jump back on the wagon of ttc. Last month things with my Mom's health really railroaded us and I just couldn't think of anything but taking care of her. But, I really do want to be pregnant and so does DH.

Last time when I got pg, we weren't trying so I was rather hard on me at first. I am hoping that this time around I will better with it all.

Before my last pg and subsequent mc my cycles were like clock work 26 days everymonth. Now I am cd 29 and still no AF. I really doubt there is any chance I am pg so I'm praying for AF to hurry up so we can start trying again!

Congrats! Ceasars Bride!

Pride&P~best of luck to you!

Repeated from Charting:

I'm back from my appointment. It was ok, nothing spectacular. She wants me to take another HPT, so I'll be doing that tomorrow. She's not sure why I haven't gotten AF. She doesn't think there's anything to worry about right now since we are BDing on the correct days and for some couples it could take a year of trying before succeeding and she mentioned now some doctors are looking at 2 years of trying to be normal after that then they will talk about fertility issues (not what I wanted to hear).

She thinks I should stop charting since it's probably making me obsessed with when we have to DTD and I'm not relaxing. She really didn't look at my charts. She made it sound like you didn't have to have sex too much to get PG. She told me sperm can live 72 hours.

She did write a script for me to get some blood work done on CD3, once AF shows up. I have the paperwork in the car so I don't recall what she's testing me for.

I did ask her about the flu shot and she said I should get it. I also asked about my weight and she said I should try to lose some weight. This was something I planned on doing this upcoming month if I wasn't PG. I figured I could take a beak and this will by my way of being able to diet and not have to worry about PG or not.

basically we are going to have to work 12n-8p instead of 9a-5p and it (@*(*$(&#(& sucks

Hey ladies. CD 26 today. Still no O or positive opk. I took the day off from work today. I have my doctor's appointment for the sonogram at 11:30. I have to drink 5 glasses of water within 45 min of my appt. That's going to be fun! I'm really hoping that something shows up on the sonogram. I need an explanation for my messed up cycles. Well my mom is scheduled for surgery this afternoon. She will more than likely have to stay the night so that they can make sure she isn't bleeding due to the blood thinners. Hopefully she'll be able to go home tomorrow.

Me, I am on CD 11. We started bding lastnight. DH isn't feeling well today. He stayed home from work. So that migth be a good thing. There is an extra 24 horus we can Bd this month as compaired to before. Sick or not, he will be bding!!! ;0) Had my glass of grape fruit juice today. I like it so its not to hard for me to drink it. I know this is besides the point, but last night I had a huge glass with some vodka in it. Damn it was so good. Probalby not the best thing to do when TTC but hey, whatever, my body hasn't been doing the best with getting thsi done, so I figure it was time for a break!!!!

Pride It might just be too early for HPT to pick up a positive! What CD are you on? I've heard from girls here that they have tested negative one day and got their BFP two days later, so don't give up hope yet!

Sammy I hope your mom's surgery goes well today and that your doctor's appointment works out the way you want it to. LOL on the five glasses of water. What really sucks is that you will probably have to go so bad during the sonogram that you won't be able to lay still! Anyway, good luck and I hope you get some answers.

DelSol Seriously, what rock did your MD crawl out from under of? I'm sorry, but she sure didn't sound very proactive in helping you, or very encouraging. For one thing, everything that I've read says that unless you have EWCM, sperm cannot make it 72 hours. They swim really hard but wear out before they make it to the final destination. ;) I'm sorry, but it just doesn't sound to me like she has done her homework very well.

doco Sorry to hear about your job. Those hours suck big time! Don't worry about SO's....just pop in when you can!

APhiJill Hope you end up O'ing when your DH is in town. Try not to lose all hope, sometimes O does not occur on the same day each cycle.

mel I hope your surgery went smoothly and you are feeling okay. Thinking of you! :)

dancn We cross-posted! Yay for starting the BD'ing. Oh, and don't sweat the drinking thing too much. While I have heard that over-doing it can inhibit your chances, I think that occasionally is fine. I've had a glass of red wine every night this week. And at least you are mixing it with grapefruit juice!

ME CD24. Okay, I had some really weird pains this am on my way to work. Weird as in I've never felt anything like it before. Started way down in my lower belly and kind of worked its way up slightly. Still having them now, but not as intense....more crampy-like. Its freaking me out a little. Maybe its the start of AF, but she would be awfully early if that is the case. Nausea not as bad this am, but I've noticed it tends to kick into higher gear as my day goes on. Yesterday when I left work, I had to run to make it over a crosswalk before the light turned. As soon as I stopped, I felt like I was going to be sick. Not cool. :(

(BTW, you think thats a lot of water now, just wait til your 20 weeks pg and they want to do that, not fun!)

Dancn yay on the extra day of BDing, I really am hoping this is your month!

DelSol sorry your appt did't go better but I hope you get that BFP today!

Pride sorry about the BFN, I hope its just to early

doco sorry about your job, mine changes my shift at least 3 times a yr and it sucks, sorry

Jill, I hope you O early this month, just make sure to BD at the last possible moment before he leaves

Sorry to anyone I missed!!

Me, temp still up this morning so I guess I definitly did O, 6 days of high temps should convince me, but I still am thinking maybe I did something wrong, I just can't believe that I actually did O, and that my cycle won't be all that long (for me anyways) I've been kind of crampy the last couple days, and felt stretching on my sides, I'm only 6 dpo and my mind is already coming up with stuff, this last week is going to be terrible.

Morning all,

BsstGrl - we do sound like we are on the same cycle. When is your AF due?

Melandtim - hope everything went okay and u have a speedy recovery.

Me - I keep swearing I have implantation cramping. And I did some looking on it today and apparently its not as common as some think. AF is technically due tomororw, that would be a 30 day cycle for me, but my cycle may not have an exact # yet as this will only be my 2nd cycle off of the pill. I dont know. I'm not really down about it, I know we can just try again next month, but at this point I am like okay, if Af is going to come, she just needs to come. This waiting sucks

I know, I really don't know what was going on there. I felt really stupid. She was running behind by an hour and 15 minutes so who know if that played into it or not. Plus she probably figured we haven't been trying that long so we can't call this infertility, which I understand but why don't I have AF? I think that is part that is baffling her and why she wants me to go for some blood work on CD3 whenever AF shows. Had she looked at my charts she would have seen that I had some spotting which is abnormal for me. Oh well not much I can do now but wait, I believe I O'd yesterday.

Update:
I didn't test this morning because I woke up at 5:15AM and pee badly and didn't feel like fumbling around for the HPT. I have a feeling I O'd yesterday so I think if I do take the HPT tomorrow, it will be BFN but I'll do it just to be safe.

NO AF YET!

I've been feeling really crampy the last 2 days... normally I'm crampy one day before AF arrives... but this is day 3 of cramps, and nothing. I'm testing Sunday AM if she doesn't arrive by then. I look ridiculous in the bathroom staring at my TP. I'm fully expecting AF to arrive, since I have NO PG symptoms, and we didn't try very hard this month.... but this is the farthest I've gotten! :)

My DH's take on HPT's:

My DH is crazy! He actually thinks I'm insane for wanting to take a test after only being a couple days late... he thinks I should wait at least 2 weeks  ! HAHA! At least he changed his tune from last month when he didn't see the need to test AT ALL. He says if I don't get my period, that means I'm pregnant, so why take a test? :o OMG - men!

hehe!

DelSol I don't think you should feel stupid at all. You did everything right, its your MD that is screwing up here and should feel stupid. I am curious about the spotting you had though. How long ago was that again? Are you absolutely, positively sure that you O'd yesterday? Because if not, then I would maybe consider the possibility that the spotting was implantation. :) Do the HPT!!

I'm fully expecting AF to arrive, since I have NO PG symptoms, and we didn't try very hard this month.... but this is the farthest I've gotten! :)

I am soooooo with you on this. I swear if anyof my co-workers saw me staring at the TP, they would laugh their a$$es off. :) I don't understnad it, normally I'm dreading AF symptoms, but now when they don't show I freak out. :) Oh the trials and tribulations.

Thank you girls for the support. I am seriously hoping that is what it is. ITs just up to this point, its been very clockwork cycles. I joined back up on the charting thread, because this A-type personality is so not liking the not knowing. I know I have to tell DH that it is worrying me, because this morning before I left and he kissed me goodbye, he asked what was bothering me and I lied.:( I just didn't want to start crying and that's what I felt like I would do if I told him what really was bothering me.

Hey all,

I haven't posted here in a long time b/c I'm on the charting thread and someone (not here) made a comment that if you are charting, then you are not SWH - (it was in the pet peeves post of chit chat) - so I've stuck to the charting thread. This month was a definite SWH though b/c I wasn't able to chart.

I had to respond to this:

CD29...
?DPO....

:o OMG - men!

hehe!

I am so in the same boat! Right down to the lack of symptoms, staring at TP and the DH. Last night my DH asked me if AF showed up yet (Af is currently 2 - 3 days late) - and when I said No, he told me to wait till next Thurs to test!

I'm holding out till Sun to see what happens b/c that will match the longest cycle I have ever had (which took place at the beginning of August)

I just had to join in and laugh a) at the things I am doing to see if Af is here and b) the clueless DH's, *lol*.

Good luck to all of us!

I am SO glad I am not the only one staring at the TP! I am constantly doing that in the bathroom at work. DH thinks I am nuts, I am forever running to the bathroom here at home. Those cramps I was describing are on and off, haven't had any today. If my cycle stayed at 30 days, AF should come tomorrow, I may do a test then....

I just wanted you ladies to know, the ones who posted about starting at the tp....it doesnt stop for a bit once you get your BFP either.
I checked the TP everytime I went to the bathroom SURE that AF was still on her way:p So Silly.
I dont do it as often, but I do still find myself checking once and awhile, and I am 14weeks:p

Robyn even if you are charting you are welcome here, I think the reason there are some of us charting in here is because this is where we started, made a bond with the other members of this thread and now refuse to leave:p I am one of those, I did join the charting thread as well, just so I have some help with chart questions, but I really could not leave here and the girls on this thread without a BFP.

I know. It was post in chit-chat about pet peeves - so I figured I would try not to annoy anyone - oh well :) this month is completely a SWH month for me anyway - next month, it's back to charting.

Remember, I first joined SWH in August in my oh-my-g-d AF has never been this late! state - unfortunately, she showed up on CD 34 ... Feel like I am right back in the same position now.

Thanks for the warm welcome back :)

Hey ladies I'm back. I've hung out at the hospital with my mom before my appt and went there again afterwareds. Well I went with a full bladder. Had to drink 5 glasses of water within 45 min of my appt. That was hard holding it in!!! They first did an extrenal u/s. And then they allowed me to empty my bladder and then did an internal u/s. The tech that did the u/s didn't really say anything. She said that she couldn't tell me the results but she could tell me that there was nothing to worry about. Not sure what that means. I then reminded them about the PG test. Well they were going to do a blood test anyways. I asked the nurse if she was going to test progesterone levels and she gave me a weird look like "why would we test for that?". I then explained how the doc assumed that I O'd already and that I was pretty sure I haven't yet and knowing my progesterone levels will be able to tell him that I haven't yet. Soooo she agreed to test the progesterone too. It's just another thing that she needed to circle on the form. I'm going in on Monday for a follow-up and I'll know my u/s and my blood test results. So we'll have to wait.

Oh and my mom is awaiting surgery. They already took her out of her room and my aunt is there in the holding area with her waiting for her to get taken back into the OR.

Sorry for no s/o.

Me~ Another day, another -opk! :( That seems to be the theme of my life right now. I'm on CD19 and I haven't gotten that elusive +opk yet and the latest I've ever ovulated is CD20. I'm really starting to think I just missed my surge so I'll just keep BDing and hope my temp pops up tomorrow. I'm so frustrated.

OK, we're on a new page now so I'm going to be lame and only to s/o's on this page since my kiddos are coming back from PE in a few minutes!

Jen~ Hugs to you. You sure do have a great attitude about it though!

FSUSammy~ I bet it was pure torture having to hold all that water in!!! I can't even imagine! I'm sending good luck vibes to your ma!

RobynScott~ I'm on both threads too. So, hopefully we can avoid annoying anyone together. Hee hee.

By the way ladies, I was cracking up at my desk about the whole "staring at tp" thing. I definitely do that! It's so funny to think there are women all over the world staring at their tp searching for a "sign." :D

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm sure I'll be popping back in today and probably sometime this weekend too. I'm hosting my book group tonight (which really is more of a chat, drink wine and eat gobs of food fest). There are 8 of us all together in the group and at our October get together one gal announced her pregnancy (no more wine for her I guess) and another one is announcing her pregnancy tonight (DH is best buds with her hubby so we already know). I think I'll try to rub them for luck tonight! :D

It's so nice to know there are other people out there like me. I'm a TP starer. And I've been doing it like crazy lately. I'm at CD56 or something. I tested again this morning since it had been a week and no AF. Still negative. I just don't understand!!!

I've decided that if I want my body to help me out, then I'm going to do good and actually go to the gym!

The best news for me today is that I finally found a copy of TCOYF!!

Hoping everyone has a good weekend of BDing and BFPs but for me, I just want AF to hurry up so I can try again!

Jenn (and Bill) sorry for the BFN and still no AF, I've had my share of long cycles so I know how badly it sucks not knowing whats going on. If you aren't going to get a BFP I hope AF shows soon so you can start again, but I am still hoping you get a BFP

Jessica sorry for no +OPK yet, I hope you get one soon

Jen sorry for AF, that witch!

Me, temp dropped this morning big time, I am thinking that its because I was using a different blanket, but I'm not sure that it would make that big of a difference, my hopeful side is screaming implantation dip, but I don't want to get to hopeful on that, I guess we'll see, I plan on testing on Wed I think, that would be 11 dpo, then if its negative I'll test next weekend

Ladies - I just posted this on the charting thread - thanks for putting up with my craziness the last few days - I was truly "seeing what happens" this month ....

Well, ladies - I was going to take all of your advice and just wait till the morning - we all know FMU is best.

Went up to shower and get ready for the baby shower I am attending this afternoon. Looked under the sink to see which FRER I had (b/c I had read at www.peeonastick.com (http://www.peeonastick.com) that there were problems with some of the older ones) and found that I had a second test I didn't remember about. Suddenly, the devil in me took over and now that I had a spare test for the morning (saving the FRER) and the need to pee - I thought, why not? - even though I had just had a glass of water with my PNV so I thought my pee would be too diluted (which would give me an excuse to test in the morning again, right? too diluted = potentially false negative).

The phone rang - saved by the bell, I thought! but, it was a telemarketer so the devil continued to win. Read all of the directions (b/c of course it says read all directions before taking) and counted to 5 as I held it in the stream.

As I was doing this, I fully prepared myself for the BFN - and told myself not to get upset at the baby shower this afternoon with all of the new moms and PG ladies.

well, wouldn't you know, before I even got the stick onto the counter, this is what I saw:

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q234/robynscott06/IMG_1309.jpg

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!! BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never thought I would see that. Holy cow!?!?!? I have no idea how many DPO I am, but the results line showed up within seconds - before the test line could even show up. I thought at first I was looking at the test line.

Thank you all for your support! I'm going to get a digital this afternoon and surprise DH tonight. Please, if I could have some *sticky baby* vibes I would really appreciate it. I'm all excited and nervous and everything all rolled into one. (esp since my sore boobies seem to be disappearing)

Thanks all and good luck! I hope November 2006 is our record breaking month!

CONGRATULATIONS ROBYN!!!!! So happy for you!!!

Me - I bit the bullet and tested today. Did it allll wrong too. Not FMU, and I literally had orange juice, coke, and water less than 30 mins before testing. So pretty diluted. Then I couldnt even POAS for 5 seconds, so I went in a cup and then put the test in there. Of course, BFN, but I am still holding out hope that there were too many factors. :) Still have some AF like cramps. If my cycle is 30 days, then I should get it late tonight. So, Monday morning I think I will test again. I'd like to do it tomorrow, but dont want another BFN. I'm just at the point where I want AF to show so I can mark it down and then get ready for November....

Tenny good luck with the opks and BDing!

Ok, so I bought some hpts today when I was out and about and I am only 7 dpo and want to test so badly!! I shouldn't have bought them but I want to test on Wed and didn't think I'd have another chance to buy them before then. My mind it just going wild over the big drop in my temp today, I read that implantation dips happen on 7 or 8 dpo usually and I am 7, so I am really hoping for a big jump tomorrow and I will do everything I can to wait until Wed, I'd hate to have to go buy more. No FPS as of yet, so we'll see.

Me~ CD31 and still no AF. BFN last night. I wouldn't have tested last night except that when I woke up yesterday I wasn't feeling quite right. And then I couldn't finish dinner, I was getting the worse heartburn and gass, and it was my favorite (cheesy fries and jalopeno poppers from a local pizza joint). DH wasn't home so I ordered out and got chick flicks. :P And my stomach was feeling really weird, like I had done a 1,000 situps, but I haven't been to the gym since Tuesday, and I really didn't do much becuase of my back. I have to do shopping today, so I'll probably bite the bullet and test again today.

Wow, 3 BFPs already this month and its only the 5th, I have a feeling we will be breaking a record this month!!

My temp went back up this morning and my head it just spinning with the idea of an implantation dip, I was crampy on and off yesterday too. robyn~ AF was due Friday. I have regular cycles so that's why its freaking me out. And yes, I've had my fair share of FPS. :) Nothing like this though, the last two cycles the FPS were the sore BB and nausea. I haven't had any of that and none of my usual AF symptoms.

chelsa~ Thanks. I do too. I haven't told DH that AF is late, but I was complaining to him on Friday that I am just so sick of getting hopes up and then it being crushed. Of course he blamed it on my work schedule.:p

pride - if AF is late, you should definitely be able to test. Get a First Response Early Result (oval window - new box) - I think they are one of the most accurate / sensitive.

Don't drink too much and see what happens. Sounds very promising - definitely let us know what happens!
