APhiJill~I have tried Preseed and OPKs but I haven't tried the grapefruit juice. Do you think it is working? That is such a nice story about the mouse head. Yuck!

Jenn~You comment about the doctor not calling back made me laugh out loud at the same time a student came in and they looked at me like I was crazy. :o I hope you get some great news from your dr soon!

Tenny~I thought the same thing about the water. Everyone kept saying that something was in the water at my school because so many people were getting pregnant, I wanted to say, "Well can they tell me where the magical source is because I need some of that!" Sounds like you didn probably O yesterday or the day before. I hope your timing was good.

Pride~Ugh! I hope you get some answers either way soon. I have been in that same position several times where AF was late and still getting negative tests. I figured out that I O'ed later that cycle for some reason. I hope your ending is much different than mine. End your week right...with a BFP!

Sam~Sorry you are having a hard time figuring out O. I would say if you had creamy Cm this morning but very little or none later today, you may have O'ed. Otherwise I bet it's still coming. I hope tomorrow makes it more clear.

Allison~Sorry to hear about AF. It is hard to see all teh BFPs when AF shows for you. You are always still happy for the other ladies but it makes you so sad/mad that AF is here for you. Boo! ((hugs))

Bsst~I know what you mean about staying positive. Sometimes it is hard to but I remind myself that being upset is not going to accomplish anything...except making me miserable.

Jimmysgirl~You are making me crazy with anticipation and it isn't even me. TEST! TEST! TEST! Is that swaying you any more? :p I hope you come back to report a BFP in the next day or two!

Robyn~Other than the increased saliva do you have any symptoms yet?

Jessica~Do you check (or notice) your CM? If so I would go with whatever days fits more with that. I don't check internally but I do notice it when I wipe and such if I pay attention.

Delsol~Sorry about AF. That sucks!:(

Lana~I hope you have somethign to be very thankful for come turkey day. I know what you mean about it hard to keep yourself from being discouraged. Know that I am cheering for you!

I am pretty sure that I O'ed on Sunday. I am just going to use that as the average because I think it could have been Sat, Sun, or Mon. So Sunday is the day I will go with for testing. Luckily I have been really busy so the few days since I have flown by. The bad thing is that the last week before AF is always the harder/longer feeling one and things will have slowed down by then. That's okay though. I am 3 DPO and I am doing good because I haven't created too many FPS yet. I tend to try to discount many of them most of the time so I am not disappointed but I still take note of them and each one ups my internal hope a tiny bit. I am pathetic...I know. :p

Hi girls, for me I am on CD 17. I am not to sure when I o'd or if I acutally did yet.. I am thinking I didn't yet. But whatever, I was going to go buy some opks todya, but then I decided taht I might have already o'd so why waste the $. If its going to happen this month it will happen, if not, I am done worrying If htis is my month, so be it, if not, we will be taking a lot of time off, as I dont' want to be pg all summer long, and not be able to have fun boating and all that stuff, adn then with my palns of the dance studio it wouldn't work out veyr well. Needless to say DH and I have been very good about keep up with doing it every other day. Over the weekend it was every day, for a few days there. Anyhow, tha tis all I know, this cycle has pretty much gone undected as far as oing goes, but hey, what can you do.

looty ~ it's been so busy. I have the president riding my boss's ass and wanting me to find IT people and I keep looking and call people and nothing. I did get 2 interviews set up but I called 10 people.

Jenn (and Bill) ~ good luck with the appointment. I'm not sure where I mentioned this here or charting but my sister worked with someone who found out she was due in 4 weeks so for the past 36 weeks didn't know she was PG.

allison ~ (((HUGS))) sorry about AF, she showed for me too. :(

pride&prejudice ~ I hope you get a BFP soon.

Tenny ~ Good luck in the 2ww.

APhiJill ~ sorry about the mice.

jimmysgirl424 ~ I hope you get your BFP too.

Lanapoo ~ have fun starting the BDing fest.

looty ~ yeah it does suck but it means I can concentrate on my diet.

dancn226 ~ what is your CM like? If it's dry that you probably O'd. If you still have EWCM than you probably haven't.

CD1 for me, I plan on SWH the remaining time and if it happens than it happens, I really don't want an August baby but it would be luck to get one.

flyby - we are out of here in the morning for our first non DD vacation :) too early in my cycle for TTC but I will survive (think I am cd7 or something)

anyway I just wanted to say congrats to HEW?B and jummysgirl424 hope I come home to more BFP news!!

I will be turning 37 on Sat so I will be a year older when I talk to you next!

Just an update. I couldn't do the urine test at the doctor because i had already gone. I normally have to wait hours and this time it was really fast. But I think that might be good because if the urine came back negative, they might not have wanted to draw blood. So I should know about this on Friday. I guess I'll go the appt with my (old/new) doctor next week either way. And funny, my recent ex-dr never called me today!

Thanks girls. I feel really bad that I've been coming in here to just b!tch and moan about this! Thanks for putting up with me. I tested last night at Dh's request, becuase I broke down and finally told him the whole situation. It was a BFN. So then I figured, ok maybe its diluted, so I'll do FMU since I have off today and have no excuse. Still a BFN. huh? I think I'm calling the doc's office today, just to see what they suggest. I'm thinking that they might tell me to wait to see them till next week, but that will be kind of hard since I'm on travel for work on most of it.

Jen(and Bill)~ Hope everything works out!

docoNY~ Happy early B-day!

DelSol~ I kind of feel the same way, I was really hoping that I wouldn't be preg during the summer, but at this point, I'll just thank my lucky stars to be pg.

looty~ Thanks girl. Its just the case that even DH mentioned I'm never this late, so I know if the guy notices, then... :) Don't worry about cooking things up in your head. I swear I never paid attention to my body and its weird feelings this much before!

dancn~ Hope you O'd!

jimmy'sgirl~ AF stay away! And BFP come and don't torment her like you are me! :)

Sunshine and Robyn~ Hi! :)

looty - Hope you caught that eggie!!!

Dana- You know what's going to happen now that you are just SWH to possibly not have an August baby right??? LOL

pride&prejudice - sorry about the 2 BFNs. I wouldn't be surprised if your doc tells you to wait a week or 2. Did you ever buy a thermometer? If so I would start temping to see if your temps are up and stay up.

RP from SAI:

Me - CD 34 today and I might have good news. It looks like my temp jumped even higher and when I entered it into Ovusoft it called O. I just don't know if I should believe it though. I had creamy CM last night but only when I checked internally.

Duh! I never even thought to start temping now! That's a good idea. Yeah, I told DH i thought the smae thing, that it would be a week or two before they would tell me to come in.

Robyn~Other than the increased saliva do you have any symptoms yet? ]

Definitely! Even before I knew, my boobs had grown. BY CD 18 I noticed that my boobs had grown (and they are not small to begin with!). Also, my boobs were very sore. I don't remember when I first noticed this, definitely by CD 26 - 27 they were sore. (and continued to be sore)

I was also crampy. The week before my BFP (starting by CD 28 - but probably even earlier) - I remember being really tired. I attributed it to how busy I was at work (so I remember it starting by CD 20). I attributed all of these things to AF's impending arrival. By CD 31 I had extreme tiredness and insomnia! (I attributed it to falling asleep too early the night before).

Now I've still got the fatigue (But I stayed up till 10 last night! *lol*), some crampiness, and gas. Not too much of an appetite most of the time - waves of a little bit of nausea but not too much really.

That's about it. Sorry for the long post - but I remember wanting all of this info so I could evaluate everything in the 2WW. I so thought it wasn't going to happen this month I attributed everything to AF so it's funny to look back and identify 'symptoms'.

I am pretty sure that I O'ed on Sunday. I am just going to use that as the average because I think it could have been Sat, Sun, or Mon. So Sunday is the day I will go with for testing. Not pathetic at all - totally understandable! I will admit however, this was my easiest 2 WW b/c I had no expectations whatsoever so I didn't have a chance to read any meaning into anything, *lol*

Hope you all get your BFP's very soon!

jimmysgirl424
11-09-2006, 07:26 AM
Robyn Wow, sounds like its been fairly easy on you so far. Hopefully the nastier PG symptoms stay away from you.

Pride Sorry about the two BFNs. :( Hope you are able to get in to see your doctor fairly quickly so that you can begin to resolve whatever is going on. Then again....I know that some women get PG and never get a +HPT! :D Maybe thats you!! How about asking for a blood test when you go? And do you have any FPS?

Sammy Wow, sounds like you O'd to me! Did you get in any BD'ing??

Jenn Heehee...way to force them into doing a blood test! I mean, if you can't go, you can't go, right?? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

DelSol Sorry that AF showed up. :( On to the next cycle, right? Hope this one proves to be the lucky one!

dancn I really really hope that you and your DH end up catching the egg this time around.

looty Okay, keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get your BFP this month!!!

Sunshine Yup, my eyes have always been super sensitive. It can be a serious PITA sometimes. Eyedrops are my friend. :)

ME CD 30!!! AF has yet to appear. And no, I haven't POAS yet. I'm trying to hold out for a few days, mainly because I'm concerned that if I ovulated later than normal this month, that would of course make AF be later, right?? I guess I just don't want to be all hopeful and then get let down when the hag appears. DH is bouncing off of the walls already but isn't trying to make me test before I'm ready to. So, I guess I get to have another day of running to the restroom a million times to check for AF. Yippee.

Hi everyone. just dropping by to say that i think I am o'ing today. My left side is killing me, adn I am attributing it to the fact hat i am o'ing today. And that would be the case, since my DH is working all day today. Go figure. 24 hours, so I can basically already say I am out....that is a bunch of crap. So whatever, what can you do.

Heehee...I'm sorry!! :o I guess I'm hearing too much stuff from people. You ladies, of course, are encouraging me to go ahead and test. But other people are telling me not to bother, there's no way I managed to get PG this fast, it wouldn't show up this early, yadda, yadda, yadda. Its kind of depressing to hear it, to be honest. I much prefer the positive attitudes I receive here from you ladies. In any case, I promise that I will test sometime this weekend. If I can hold out till at least Saturday, that would be good.

Kym - you should go read my posts from last week. People were telling me to test and I told them I preferred to be an ostrich (sticking my head in the sand) - I would have preferred to see AF rather than a BFN - of course, now that AF is late, you can test anytime. If I were you (and I think I was, last week, *lol*) - I would test Sat morning when DH is home with you for the day.

Of course, you'd better run straight to the computer and post your results here! *lol*

Good luck!

jimmysgirl - I can't wait to hear the results of your test!

Sorry for no more s/o today, but I do have a quick question for you ladies.

DH had his wisdom teeth removed on Monday and I was wondering if anesthesia affects his sperm at all? I know it's just a deep sleep and the more I think about it the more I dont see how it could affect the sperm, but I was just wondering if any of you knew anything about that?

I guess I must have jinxed myself. :( After calling the doctor's office and leaving a msg, I had to go to the bathroom and AF showed.   Then they called back and I felt like a complete fool to have to tell them "Ok, nevermind." Well, guess that means CD1 for me, and start temping tomorrow morning.

Hello All.
Pride: Sorry AF came. For all those catching the egg, I hope your bunny action is a huge success. For those about to test, my fingers are crossed for you.

I this neck of the woods, things are just nutty. I tested on Tuesday night and got a BFP. I posted here and was sooo excited. It was a light line but it was for sure a line. DH is not home because of work so I brought the test to work and the ladies in my office very much agree that there was very much a line. Wellllllll since then I have taken 3 other HPTs and they have all been BFN. They have been different brands of test, but still the kind that are supposed to give early results. Today is the day my period should have come and it has not gotten here. I feel crampy but not really the same as the cramps I most often get with my period. I am CONFUSED girls. Was my one test just wrong?? SOOO strange. I am thinking of going to this womans health center and having a blood test but I think maybe that is just silly and I should just wait a few more days. I am torn!! Who the heck knows. For sure not me.

Hello All! I'm getting my butt in gear and am doing s/o's. Yay me!

Tenny - I hope you O'd :)

Jimmys - Good for you for holding out! I hope you see your BFP on Saturday morning!

Looty - Yay for O! Thanks for cheering me on and know that I'm doing the same for you :)

Dancn - We're doing the BD every other day thing too. I have OPK's but after work plans for every day this week have kept me from using them so I guess I'll just try to cover my bases and hope for the best.

Delsol - Sorry about AF.

DocoNY - Happy Early Birthday!!!

Jenn - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get some answers soon.

Pride - Sounds like my last cycle. Looks like you O'd late just like me. Sorry about AF :(

Sam - I hope it was O!

Robyn - Sounds like things are going good for you! I'm really happy for you.

Sunshine - Hey sweetie, how are you and the little bean doing?

Loving - I'm not sure about the anesthesia thing. It probably is okay though.

------------
Me - CD11 here and the BD Fest has begun. We're going to go every other day and I'm not going to worry too much about testing with OPK's, especially since I've been so busy lately. I'm also going to go to a wine tasting tonight and enjoy my non-preggo status ;)

ETA: HEW?B - You snuck in on me. I'm so sorry about the confusing results. I would try testing in the morning again.

FSUSammy
11-09-2006, 12:15 PM
HEW?B - Could that first line have been an evaporation line by chance? I'd honestly wait a few more days and test again if AF hasn't shown up.

Hew?B I was thinking evap line as well. I would say give it a few more days and if AF still hasn't shown, try testing again. Hang in there!!

For me...still no AF yet today. And this is definitely TMI, but things in that 'area' are getting rather sensitive thanks to me constantly running to the bathroom and wiping to check for AF. Stupid cheap-a$$ work toliet paper!! :p

I'm at work and shouldn't be on here, so just a quick one..

Pride, I'm sorry about AF, I was really hoping this was it for you

HEW?B Sorry about the confusion, maybe it was an evap line or possibly a chemical pregnancy, I hope you get a BFP in a couple days

Me, temp went back up today and my left BB is killing me, it is so sore, not sure why its just one and not both??? I've been tired and just feel run down, I'm not sure if I'll test tomorrow or hold out til Saturday, maybe I'll just base it off of tomorrows temp, we'll see.

FSUSammy

Hi everyone!!! Today is my Friday since we have no school tomorrow in honor of Veteran's Day (yeah)! I love 3-day weekends!!!

Well, my temp popped up a lot higher today... all the way from 97.7 to nearly 98.2!!! I love it when that happens. All it takes to make my day a good one is a nice high temp post-O. Keep it up little temps! So I'm on CD25, 3-4dpo. The weirdest thing happened yesterday though... I had some serious cramps from early afternoon on through the evening. I mean these were not just "little twinges" or "aches" they were CRAMPS. I often get the achey cramps throughout my cycle but this was odd to me.

jimmysgirl~ My work has horrid cheap tp too. It's awful. So, TMI or not, I know what you mean!!!

pride&prejudice~ Part of the beauty of being on these threads is that none of us should ever have to feel like an idiot. Almost everyone ends up with at least one wacky cycle and I think most of us have experienced AF playing tricks on us. Chin up! ;)

Lanapoo~ Enjoy that BD fest. That's the best part of the cycle!!!

HEW?B~ I'm sorry for all the confusion you're having right now. I would be terribly confused, and in all honesty upset, if I were you. If you can hold out a few days I would just do that. However, if it's really going to weigh on you I would go to a clinic have tests done there. Don't be embarassed... I had a coworker of mine go in for tests when she was till 6 days before AF was expected and the clinic didn't think twice about it!

To all those I've missed I send you tons of baby dust and luck. Have a great Thursday! Hopefully I'll be back again later to do some more s/o's!

dancn226 - Sorry about your o pains. I've had o pains last several days, thanks to clomid. Usually when its the actual follicle bursting I get a sharp sharp pain that feels like I'm getting stabbed inside. The pain you are experiencing could very well be that you a gearing up to O.

teacher_jessica I get a three day weekend too, I am a state employee! Isn't it great when it works out that way? Hmmm....well, 3-4 DPO I'm not sure what your cramping means. I thought implantation at first, but that doesn't usually happen this early. Glad you got those high temps going though!

BABYDUST to all of us!!

I will most likely check in here tomorrow, but if not, I promise I will post when I test or when AF arrives. Hope everyone has a great weekend with successful BD'ing and some more BFP's. (I hope I'm one of the BFP's!! :D )

I am somewhere between 11 -17 DPO and am sitting here waiting to see what happens. AF has yet to show up and really have no signs of her intentions. If nothing happens during this weekend, going to call the doc's office on Monday and get an appointment to check things out.

Kind of excited - hard to work with this looming question.

Hello all. Thanks sooo much responding to me. I am still in confused mode. I was too crazy at work today to go have a blood test done. Still no AF so who the heck knows. I have thought lots about the one BFP I got being an evaporation line. I am super new to TTC and HPTs. The thing that makes me think it was not an evaporation line is that it came right up. It did not come up after waiting several minutes and it came up right where the test said the line would come if it were a BFP. The other thing that I have been doing is taking my temperature this week and last week. I know it is not a good indication since I have not been temping all month, but for the past 2 days, my temp has gone up just a tad rather than down. Who the heck knows. All I know is that I am still waiting, but I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all of you keeping your fingers crossed for me.

dancn226: I just wanted to address your question about the cramps since it was something that I REALLY went through this month. I had no idea what it was because it was my first month TTC and I was in so much pain that I went to the DR. It ended up being nothing (except that my Dr. thinks I had a double ovulation). It last for 3 days for me. I am not sure which of those days was my O day because I was not temping or taking opk tests. Good luck!! I hope you catch that egg!!

Thanks again everyone and I hope that everyone has a great night.

HEW?B~First off I want to say sorry about all the confustion. Don't you just love how confusing our bodies can be, even though its still our bodies. Werid. As for my pains. My left side was killing me all day long . I went to teach dance, and forgot about it, now my right side is killing me. I havce never heard of double ovulation.  I just looked up some info on the internet, and possible twins it said!!! How great would that be?! They do run in my family. Anyhow, def. not getting to excited about that one!! :D

But anyhow, I am still hurting, and its more or less driving me nuts, but all getting me pretty happy since its still bother meing, I am have at least another 10 hours till DH gets home. So, cross your fingers, I am hoping we will make it this month. Major o pains like never before, and I can tell, becuase the CM is very wet...........??????

RP from SAI:

Me - Today is CD 34. My temp was still above the coverline today, it did drop from yesterday so I' wondering if I really haven't O'd. I read something super interesting last night in TCOYF. It said that constatnt watery CM is due to the increase in estrogen in women with PCOS. I found that very interesting because it seems like the majority of the time my CM is more watery than anything else. Hopefully my temps this weekend can either help me confirm O or completely say that I haven't O'd yet. Oh and I got my book on PCOS that I ordered from Amazon and read 2 chapters last night. Very very interesting stuff!!!!

I only have a minute since I am at work but I wanted to say that I am reading along and rooting for everyone. Come BFPs!:D

As for me...I am on 5-6 DPO today and just plugging right along. I would love to get pg this time because I could tell my parents at Thanksgiving when they are home and then wait a while until Christmas to make the announcement to everyone else. Here's to hoping that will happen.

Thanks girls. I was just in a funk yesterday and still kind of am, its just the mood swings that come along with AF, wonderful. CD2 so nothing exciting, but I started temping this time around. Of course it couldn't start out wihtout something funny. I had to get a new thermometer, and of course, I'm not used to it, well I forgot to wait for the beep that it was ready, and then take the temp. In the words of Carlos Mencia, Duh da duh. Oh well, at least I looked at it before I went back to sleep. :)

I won't be around too much today, mom is coming over so that we can make perogies, so sorry on not many SOs. Baby dust to all and hope we get some BFPs this weekend!

This exactly what I was thinking. DH actually made the comment that even though I'm not all that excited about being pg all summer, that it would be nice to be able to tell everyone at Christmas, crossing our fingers it happens this time around.

I'll be back for shout outs in a little bit,
repeat from charting

13 dpo for me, woke up 3 hrs early with no covers on and the window open, I was freezing, temp was 96.9, big drop but lots of things could have caused it so I'm still holding out hope, but I'll wait til tomorrow to test just in case, both bbs are killing me today, could be an AF thing so I don't know.

pride&prejudice - DH and I love Carlos Mencia. I am going to try to get tickets to his tv show, one day!!! Hilarious!

Also wishing you luck!! Would be really great to tell everyone at Xmas/Holidays.

looty - Great idea to tell family during the holidays, very special!! Hope it all works out so you can!

Chelsea524 - I hope that its not AF!!! Keep us posted.

As for me, I was so sick this morning. Close to tossing my cookies but didn't. I just wish that it would either HAPPEN or be done with already. I hate that feeling. Can't wait to take a PG test next week!

LadyD088 Wow, nice FPS you got going there! :D Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Chelsea524 Hoping this is your month! Got my fingers crossed! Do you have a test date in mind yet?

Pride Sorry you are feeling so down.:( It is such a disappointment when our bodies just don't want to cooperate with us, isn't it? Hope you have a good weekend with your mom though.

Sammy Sounds like the book is already helping. Hope you get to make that Christmas announcement!

looty Well, you definitely had excellent timing this month, so hopefully you caught that eggie! Good luck!

dancn If you've got that much EWCM along with those pains, I would say you are almost definitely O'ing. Get to BD'ing as soon your DH walks in the door!

HEW?B I know it sucks when that happens, but I'm still very hopeful for you. Keep on plugging along and take another test soon!

ME CD31!! No AF in sight. Can I just say I am driving myself nuts at this point? Woke up today with a headache and a tummy that wanted to be sick no matter what I told it. Trying so, so hard not to be too hopeful but its tough. And I'm running to the bathroom constantly to check for AF. Well, at least I'm home today instead of work, so I'm not driving my boss nuts by leaving my desk constantly. :o Still feeling those twingey-cramp thingies...almost like AF cramps, but not quite. I can't explain it very accurately. Anyway, I have an HPT sitting here, but I am going to go buy one of the more sensitive ones as I have one of those middle-of-the road kind. If AF doesn't show up today, I guess I will test tomorrow. Still thinking AF will make her appearance, no matter how I'm feeling. I'm scared and hopeful all at once and mad at myself for feeling that way, if that makes sense.

Happy Friday!

Jimmys - I hope this is it for you!

Chelsea - Sorry about the temp drop, hopefully it was just because you were cold.

Jessica - Nice temp jump!

Dancn - The thing to remember is you can have O pain before, during, and after O. Every woman is different. I just happen to get my O pain a day or so after I O.

Lady - I hope AF stays away!

Sunshine - Yay for your second appt! Seems like just yesterday that you got your BFP! Does it seem like time is just flying by?

Sam - Ack! I love Carlos Mencia, lucky you for going to see him.

Looty - I keep imagining telling everyone at Christmas too. I hope it happens for both of us. DH and I are going to surprise my mom and dad for x-mas and fly down to WA and it would be too perfect to be able to give them that news. They were going to come up for x-mas but now can't afford it due to my mom's chemo treatments (her last one is on 11/21, YAY!!).

Pride - Sorry about the funky mood. I'm sure the temping will help, although I managed to find a way to misinterpret my temps last cycle so be careful about that.

Motray - Good Luck!
-----
Me - CD12 here and I haven't O'd yet. But I can tell that things are gearing up based on my CM. Not much else going on. I can't wait to read about the BFP's coming up, I've got my fingers crossed for Lady, Jimmys and Chelsea!

Good luck with the testing. Hopefully we'll both have great news to share this weekend!

Kym and Deb - good luck. Sounds promising for the both of you. :) Can't wait to hear about the testing

Me - CD8 for me - we will start BD next Wednesday and continue for a while. I live in the south so delivering a baby in August makes me nervous, but then again, it's 78 degrees here today, so anytime I was pregnant, unless I GOT pregnant in July, would probably still be warm. I'm just planning on making our house full of frost!!! :) We dont plan to tell anyone until our at least 8 week appt, so we shall see.

Hew?B - what test did you use the first time? Don't give up just yet. If AF still doesn't show take a test on Monday, try not to stress though cause that can cause it to be delayed if you aren't pregnant. Hope you get an answer soon.

DelSol - wanted to ask what gyno do you go to? I have to find a new one between now and February when my annual is. You can let me know here or in pm, thanks.

Glad to see so many BFP's so early in this thread. Lots of babydust to all of you. To those that got their BFP's already, enjoy your pregnancy, time really does fly. Easton is already 2 months old

Well, I'm 4-5dpo today and my temp stayed up at about the same this morning. Yeah! This is the first time my temp hasn't dipped at this point in my cycle (trust me, I went back and peeked at my past 6 cycles just to see). I know it's probably too early for it to mean much of anything... but it's fun to have something to pick at for now. :p

loving624~ I see you're gearing up for the bd fest... the fun part of the cycle!!!

Lanapoo~ Sounds like you're getting ready to O so I'm sending you lots of baby dust and hope you catch that eggie (maybe even this weekend).

Well, girls, I'm on day 62 and the bloodwork was negative. I've been spotting a little so maybe AF is going to show up. I gotta admit....I'm bummed. Because no matter how hard I tried, I got my hopes up.

So the good news is we get to keep trying....and I won't have a baby in the heat of summer. But I also lost my last chance to have one before I turn the dreaded 35. So now I just want AF to show up so I can start over.

Thanks for all your support, girls. Sorry no shout outs tonight. I'm not really in a shouting mood!

Sorry about the bloodwork! Just wanted to tell you that you and I are just about in the same boat. I turn 35 in January. Try not to worry about it. And hey, there's a special thread just for us ladies TTC 35 and over, so don't get down about it! Chin up sweetie!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that AF has not shown up so far today. And I am SICK of going to the bathroom! Not to just check for AF either. We went to a bar for a party and I had to go to the bathroom 7 times in two hours. It was really pis$ing me off. (no pun intended!!) Oh well. Anyway, I did not make it to the store to buy a more sensitive HPT so I'm debating whether or not to test tomorrow or hold out till Sunday. I'll keep everyone here updated either way! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Kym - at this point AF is late - you can probably use any test today. I would test today while DH is home (but heck, you know that's what I would do b/c that's what I did last week ;)

You need to test today! I also tested last Saturday without a sensitive test (and not even using FMU) - AF is late so you can use any test you want.

Good luck! (I think I have an idea of what it will say ;) ) BTW - the running to the bathroom is a good sign!

LadyD - good luck tomorrow!

Jenn - I'm so sorry you didn't get the results you wanted. Hope AF shows up soon so you can move on :(

Sammy - I'm so sorry about Ovusoft taking away the O. Maybe something will change with today's temp? I know it's frustrating but now that you have a diagnosis, hopefully you'll be able to put in a plan of action going forward.

Sunshine - glad things are going well!

Sorry no more SO's - I gotta get dressed - but I had to stop by and see if Kym posted results and now I need to tell her she needs to test today! :D

Jenn (and Bill) - Sorry about the bloodwork. Hopefully AF will come super fast so that you can get started again. Are you going to be taking anything next cycle to make you O earlier?

Me - CD 35. Temp is still up and Ovusoft still hasn't put back O. My boobs don't feel like I've O'd so I'm starting to convince myself that I have yet to O which really makes me mad!

Chelsea524
11-11-2006, 09:08 AM
Kym where are you?? any news??

Sammy sorry they still have your O gone, I hope you did, are you using FF and Ovusoft?

Robyn how ya feeling??

Lady good luck tomorrow testing!!

Jenn sorry about the BFN

Sunshine hi, how are ya?

Me, 14 dpo, tested yesterday, BFN, it wasn't FMU, but I held it for 4 hrs without drinking anything so I think its pretty accurate, but my temp went back up today, not sure what thats about, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see, I'm out of tests and don't think I will buy anymore until Wed, so I'll just see if AF comes or what my temps do, I'm wondering if maybe I didn't even O, even though my temps really show I did.

Jenn (and Bill)
11-11-2006, 09:23 AM
Finally, some good news from me girls.....AF SHOWED! Isn't the timing weird? So now I can start over. I think I'm going to start temping this month, just so I can figure out what's going on with my body. And then we'll see. So does anyone know enough to determine if I had a 62 day cycle? Or 2 regular length cycles without AF in the middle? Are they both options?

I think I'm going to postpone my doctor's appointment on Wednesday since AF showed. Not enough data to worry yet....this one could be a fluke. Oh well, starting over for me and I couldn't be happier.

Kym and Deb, start POAS pronto!!! We haven't had a BFP in days!!!!!

jimmysgirl424
11-11-2006, 09:40 AM
Heeheehee!! Sorry ladies, I'm delaying things. I did buy a more sensitive digital test and am currently holding off going to the bathroom for a bit so I can get a good accurate reading. I bought the Clearblue Early digital. I'll be back today, I PROMISE! And its so sweet to come in here and see so many girls anxiously waiting. Thank you!! :D :D

FSUSammy
11-11-2006, 09:45 AM
Jenn (and Bill) - Yay for AF arriving finally. Did you have spotting anywhere in your cycle?? If you did its possible that you could have had 2 cycles but if you didn't you more than likely had 1 long cycle. If I were you I'd still go to the doctors on Wed. Maybe you can call them up on Monday to see if you can just go in on Monday to get CD 3 bloodwork done so that they can check your hormone levels just to make sure that there are no issues with that, that would cause another LONG cycle.

Kym - We are all hoping that you come back on here with a BFP!

RobynScott

Well I guess it's time for me to join here.

Me: Kim (33) - Birthday 1/1
DH: Joe (33) - 34 in Dec.
Married: August 16, 1997
Last BCP: About 5 yrs ago
DS/DD : None
MC/Stillbirth/Infant Loss: None
TTC since: Just starting this month

I had my annual exam yesterday. My DR seemed to think my 32-34 day cycles since May are a promising sign, and the medication I'm on for PCOS may (finally) be working. (My last cycle was 43 days, but that's probably because I was really sick with a sinus infection/bronchitis for about 6 weeks.)

We did a "trial run" of Clomid last April to have some bloodwork done, and everything came out OK. Now that I seem to be Oing on my own, he wants to run the bloodwork again later this month. Crossing my fingers!! :)

CONGRATS KYM!! H&H 9 Months!

Me-CD 30, 14-16 DPO. Two days late. AF ALWAYS comes on CD28 for me, so I don't know whats going on. I say this because I tested last night and got a very faint negative. Last months BFN was super dark, so who knows. Maybe because it was a different brand of test I used this month? Oh well, I just wish I knew what was going on.

Hope to see more BFPs on here this month! We're starting things off on the right foot, ladies!:D

RobynScott
11-12-2006, 10:06 AM
LadyD - sorry for the BFN and that you are still in limbo :( I hope AF stays away and that a BFP shows up very soon :)

When is AF due?

MandosBella- I'm confused by what you mean by a faint/dark negative. On the tests I took, there's either a line (positive) or there isn't. If AF is late, maybe try a different test?

Mandos*Bella
11-12-2006, 10:10 AM
Sorry Robyn. There definitely was a negative sign, although it was very, very light. Whereas my other test (from last month) was dark as night, you could read it from many feet away. I wasn't sure if this meant anything, as I'm kinda new to this. It was a negative, nonetheless. :o

Robyn - AF was due last Monday or Wed so I'm def late. But who knows I could have calcuated things wrong or just not have enough HCG levels. Don't really know right now. DH's is trying to keep me positive, a bit hard to do right now.

LadyD - I don't mean to get too personal (but hey - this whole thread is TMI ;) - how long has it been since you BD'ed? It's probably been less than 19 days- but just in case - by 19 days post BD you should be able to get a definitive answer. (sperm could live for up to 5 days, implantation could happen as late as day 12 and then 2 more days to show up on HPT)

Did you try a really sensitive test? Like First Response Early Result? I'm so sorry you are in limbo!

Deb, sorry for the BFN. Such a bummer. But i'm a prime example for our body playing tricks on us. Hope you figure it out soon!

MandosBella, I guess you're in the same boat. Hope it works out for you!

Me, I'm CD2 and just relieved I don't have to count past 60 anymore. I haven't started temping yet because I haven't had time to read TCOYF yet. Might have to wait till my plane ride on Thursday!

Robyn - Not being too personal, like you said, that's what this is all for, right?

We BD'd 17 days ago today. So I guess I have 2 more days? HA Like I said, I will test again on Wed (which would put me at 20 days since BDing). And you are right, I just read the packaging...saying to test no sooner than 19 days if you are unsure of when AF should arrive so...you are SMART!!! ;-)

Luckily no AF symptoms yet....just TRYING to keep a positive attitude here.

OH as for the test, I used...ClearBlue Easy Digital. It says you can use it "4 days sooner" so I am assuming its sensative. Honestly, it was the one on sale and provided me with 3 tests. Wrong brand do you think? Well I just read that its sensitivity is 50 mIU so I guess its not that sensative. Ok...looking forward to testing on Wed!!

Just wanted to pop in real quick and say thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the congrats. It really brought tears to my eyes to read them all. You ladies are the best and I feel like I am sharing this journey with all of you. It is a great feeling to have! :D I will be back for SO's tomorrow. Unfortunately for me, nausea and exhaustion have kicked in pretty hard, so I am going to curl up on the couch and watch my Ravens kick some as$ today!!

Thanks again!! :D :D :D

Chelsea524 ~ Sorry about the BFN.

Jenn (and Bill) ~ sorry about AF but now you can move onto the next cycle like me. This time I really will be SWH vs. Charting.

KaliLily ~ Welcome! I hope your stay is short & sweet.

LadyD088 ~ Sorry about the BFN. I hope it was too early.

Mandos*Bella ~ One thing you'll learn is once you start TTC, AF never shows when she's suppose to but I do hope you get a BFP.

CD5 for me. I'm pretty sure AF has left, I haven't had any spotting today. I'm up in the air on whether or not to really try this month. When I said something to DH, he just rolled his eyes. Now the tricky part is my fertile time should start around my anniversary and go into Thanksgiving. I'm pretty sure I'll be with my ILs for Thanksgiving and we'll leave Wednesday night to go to their home. Of course Wednesday & Thursday are usually crucial days for BDing. So I guess I’ll be SWH no matter what.

ETA: I got my flu shot yesterday at the mall, I met some football player from the Eagles, he was retired and I also met Joy Behar from The View. She's a lot prettier in person vs TV. My flu shot cost me nothing because of the type of insurance I had. I was happy it saved me my PCP co-pay and a trip to their office.

Conceptionmoons: Can a vacation help you get pregnant?
By the BabyCenter editorial staff

As most couples know, getting pregnant often takes more than one night of magic. The reasons for the long wait — on average 6 months of trying — can be many and complicated, but one known baby delayer is something we all face nearly every day: stress.

Now, a new BabyCenter survey shows that parents-to-be are beginning to fight back against this fertility buster with a vacation dedicated to getting pregnant: a conceptionmoon.
How do conceptionmoons work?
Scientists aren't exactly clear on why stress mucks up the works, but whatever the cause, the effects are pretty clear. Research, like a 2004 study published in the journal Fertility and Sterility, shows that women who regularly worry about things like work or money problems are significantly less likely to conceive than those who don't.

Vacations are about relaxation, so it makes sense that some folks are now combining getting away from it all with something more purposeful. And as far as our survey is concerned, a conceptionmoon looks like a winner. Of the more than 1,000 BabyCenter members surveyed, 40 percent of those who took conceptionmoons conceived while on vacation.

With a success rate like that, conceptionmoons could move from being a new trend to a pre-baby must-do right up there with eating right, knowing when to say when, and tossing your birth control.

Who's taking the trip?
Those looking to relax, light a fire in their relationship, or make conception something special are packing their bags.

The typical conceptionmooners are thirtysomething, have been trying to get pregnant for eight months, and, like most people in need of a break, are busy: They have other kids; they have demanding jobs. Some of our survey takers also declared they were "taking control of their fertility," and a few reported they headed out the door on doctor's orders.

What to consider before you book
Take a good look at how you define relaxation — beach, city, mountains, whatever. You don't have to go far or spend a lot of money. Just make sure the environment you choose is conducive to helping you unwind. Then get out the calendar and pick a date when you're likely to be ovulating.

How to make the most of it
Bring whatever you need to pinpoint ovulation (tests, a basal body temperature chart, and our list of baby-making sexual positions). If you have other kids, call a sitter and leave them at home if you can. (If Grandma has been bugging you for more grandkids, call her.)

Don't bring your stress with you on the road. Head to a destination that's off the grid or at the very least, leave the Blackberry, the e-mail, the voicemail, and (if you can bring yourself to go without it) the cell phone behind.

Finally, relax. Catch up on sleep, lounge, eat good food, and enjoy each other — in and out of bed.

For more tips, see our articles on boosting your chances of conceiving.

What to do if you can't get away
Reduce stress with some exercise, yoga, meditation, or whatever allows you to take a deep breath (literally or not) and get some peace.

At the same time, make some moves to reconnect with your partner. Try a real dinner for two. If you can afford to, take a day off from work together. And if you know you're ovulating and can arrange it, consider a night in a nearby hotel.

Fab facts from our conceptionmoon survey
· 1, 2, and 3 The ranking of Florida, Hawaii, and Las Vegas as top domestic conceptionmoon destinations. The Caribbean and Mexico topped the lists of people wanting to use their passport.
· $1,700 The typical amount spent on the trip.
· 48 percent were stressed about trying to conceive.
· 8 months The typical time couples had been trying to conceive before going on their conceptionmoon.
· 68 percent of couples heading out of town have at least one child.
· 45 percent of conceptionmooners planned their departures around their ovulation schedule.
· 24 percent timed their baby-making break based on when they wanted their baby to be born.
· 51 percent said they shared the planning duties of their conceptionmoon with their partner.
· 77 percent of couples who took a conceptionmoon would recommend taking one to other couples trying to conceive.

LadyD - check out http://www.peeonastick.com for HPT sensitivities (it may be at the beginning of this thread too) -

I know that no matter what they say, digitals are supposed to be less sensitive than the others. Expecting AF and not having her show is a great sign I think :) If I were you, I would probably pick up a First Response Early Result and see what that says (esp if AF doesn't show) - that test seems to get good reviews everywhere I have read.

Good luck - fingers still crossed for you :)

What time of day do you test with your OPK?

I used to use a fertility monitor so I am accustomed to using FMU. However, I read on my OPK's instructions that you can test any time of day, as long as you haven't had anything to drink in 2 hours. Anyone had better sucess with one time of the day over another, such as afternoon vs FMU?

Hello all and a HUGe CONGRATS to KYM!!!!! Sooo darn exciting!!!

Here, I think I may have gotten AF. Every day since the line I thought was a BFP, I have gotten BFN's but no AF was supposed to be here Thursday but did not come till this morning. It is strange though because it is the lightest period in the history of the world. I have had some cramping but just very light spotting. Did that happen to anyone else their first cycle off BCP? I have been on those darn things for so long that I have no idea what a "normal" AF is for me. Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!!

KaliLily - I think in the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility - they recommend that you use OPK's 2 times/day - and I want to say it's like 2pm and 10pm, but I havent read the book so I could be way way off. I too have read on them that you can use them at any point in the day. Anyone else that's read the book??

Hew?B - my first period off of bc was pretty light. I had about 2 days of decent dark red blood (TMI sorry) but it still was very short - 3 1/2-4 days. This past cycle was my 2nd one off of bc and it was too very short still. That part of it is weird to me since my cycles before the pill used to be more like 6-7 days. It could still be my body adjusting to being off of the pill, but it's still odd to me.

Me - CD9. Hubby is deer hunting, gets home on Wednesday, CD12. The OPKs tell me to start using them on Thursday, so we will start BDing when he gets home on Wednesday and keep at it for at least a week. I'm the one who asked the question about anesteshia and sperm, so we will have to see if it's affected. I guess we wont really know one way or another. This will be my first month to use the OPK's so I am very curious about them. I do hope this is our month. I've had some weird things this month, even though AF has come and gone, she went away on Monday and I have had some on and off cramps, and then there was some odd spotting Thursday morning. Not like I even think i could be pg, as she was pretty dark. Just the cramping is weird, this will be my 3rd cycle off of bcp and I can feel when I O but it's not time yet. Just weird. I kinda thought about POAS just to tell myself nothing is up, but I think that is kinda silly. Oh well. Can't wait for DH to come home. I dont love staying here by myself.

Thanks! I have the book, so I'll check it out. I should probably start reading it. I've had it for years - even lent it to a friend about 3 yrs ago.

Hope the days go by fast until your DH comes home. Mine was in Munich last Saturday through Wednesday and I hated being home alone, especially at night.

I just want o say again Congrats Jimmys' girl

Delsol~I know what you mean about trying again. I am really up in the air about next month if this doesn't work out I really don;t want to be pregnant during the summer months, and don't wnat to have a child the Oct Nov days because of teaching, so I totally feel you.

Honsetly, never though TTC coudl be so hard. I have always been in tune enough with my cycles, that I thought for sure it would be easiter for me than harder, but whatever. Sometimes life just doesn't work like that.

Okay, I am on CD 21. I am almost positive i o;d either Wed or Thurs just because of my CM alone. That grapefruit juice def. made it appear. Anyhow, I am going to go wtih Wed so I am goin to say 5 dpo. DH and I dtd on Tues night, so we are def. swh this month. No use of OPK's like last month. NOthing, just gods will alone. So, who knows what is going to happen for me. I went to the gym this morning with the whole mind set that I am not going to try next month if htis month doesn't work out. I feel liek I want to wait until later like maybe April or May to start again. So, we will see. If this month doesn't work out, I am def. back in teh gym to loose some weight. I need it. HOpe everyone had a great weekend, I am off to watch the Bears Loose. That is what happens when you get cocky and think your going to get to the superbowl this early in teh season. Take care!!!

Kali -OPK's unlike Pregnancy tests should be taken anytime after FMU, primetime is between 12 and 7pm, I read somewhere.

KaliLily - isn't it weird how we get used to having our husbands with us and then they leave and it sucks to be home alone? I dont know why I have that problem, I lived alone for 4 years before him. Oh well. Can't wait till he comes home! :)

LadyD - The digital PG tests are not as sensitive as the regular ole line tests.

Dana - Yay for the flu shot. Yay for meeting some celebs! There was an article similar to what you posted on cnn last week that said that a lot of hotels are now catering to couples trying to conceive.

Kim - I read somewhere that the best time to do an OPK is between 10am-8pm. The ideal time for some is at 2pm. That's because it takes time for the LH to makes its way down to your urine. If you get a positive with FMU then more than likely you would have gotten the positive the night before so you really have less time to BD. Also make sure you don't drink or pee for 4 hours before.

Jill - Glad you enjoyed 3 concerts this weekend. That's a lot!

Me - CD 37 today. I could not take my temp this morning because my thermometer seemed to have disappeared from my nightstand. I was hoping to temp to see if my temp from yesterday (which was a dip) could have been an implantation dip. Of course now I'll have to wait until tomorrow. I might be 7 DPO today. Still not sure since if my temp is lower than yesterday's temp then I probably didn't O last week. However my CM has managed to dry up. It's not quite dry but its more sticky than anything. I'm feeling very hot today. I had to turn the AC down in my car all the way to 67 to actually feel cold. Hope this is a good sign. Oh yeah and another FPS I have is I've noticed a blue vein in one of my boobs. It's very noticeable too. Oh and I guess one more I'm feeling sick to my stomach today. I am also tired but that could be because DH and I spent the entire day yesterday landscaping our front yard. Gotta love FPS!

KaliLily I saw a few pages back that you asked me how long we TTC'd. Actually, we just started trying in September, so we got PG on our second cycle of trying. I hope using the OPK's help you out in determining your O date. Oh, and welcome to the thread! You chimed in on the day I got my BFP!!

BsstGrl Well, hopefully you will O before your parents arrive. But if not, guess you will have to find a way anyway, right?

Sammy Hmmm....some interesting FPS you've got going there! Hope that dip was because of implantation. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

APhiJill Wow, thats a lot of concerts! Sounds like you had a great time!

dancn Yeah, yeah, yeah. Your Bears, my Ravens!! They both kick butt!! Won't it be interesting if the two teams meet post-season!! Anyway, hope your BD'ing had perfect timing this month and that you caught the egg!

loving Sometimes the first few months off of BC can do tricky things with your cycle, including weird AF's. But, surely there's nothing wrong with POAS if it helps to set your mind at ease!! :D

HEW?B My first cycle off of BC, I only had AF for 3 days and it was just barely there. Don't worry!!

ME Okay, everyone, I need some "sticky baby" vibes now! Now that I have that BFP, of course I've turned to the "please let everything be okay with this pregnancy" thing. I guess thats normal. Anyway, called my doc's office today for an appointment, only to be told he is no longer practicing OB.So then they tell me to make an appointment with their nurse after I've missed two periods!!  I was pretty upset with this. For one thing, I'm almost 35 and I just don't feel comfortable waiting that long. For another, I've had one miscarriage already, even though it was a number of years ago, its still scary for me. For another, I'm sure as heck not waiting two months for an appointment only to see a friggin' nurse!! I looked in my provider directory and found another OB. Called her office and they put me in to see her two weeks from today. Thats more like it. Plus, she practices out of the hospital that I wanted to have the baby at, so hopefully she will turn out to be someone I like and am comfortable with.

I have joined the July mommies thread, but if its okay with you all, I'd like to still check in here and see how all of you are doing! Hope everyone gets their BFP's fast, fast, fast!! Good luck everyone!!

dancn~Ummmm, the Bears have been kicking A$$ the whole season! DH and I are continually shocked by their performance! I SERIOUSLY believe they are winning the Bowl this year! GO BEARS! (But dont tell my *ahem* Rams that I said that...)

HEW?B~I'm sorry AF showed.....I was sure this was it for you...But you never know what your body will do off of bcp. I know several women who have had super long cycles off of bcp, some who were normal, and some who had barely there periods.

jimmysgirl~I am still wishing for sticky vibes for myself and I am 16weeks on Wednesday:p Its hard not too, you just always want everything to be okay. I am definately thinking and sending you TONS of sticky vibes and hope yo uhave a WONDERFUL 40 weeks!(ish)
I have also had 1 m/c....and I didnt get to see my OB until 11 weeks. SO I can understand how you are feeling, especially only seeing a nurse.

Good morning all! I hope your weeks are starting out great! It's pretty darn windy here right now so I blew all over the road on my way to work this morning. There's nothing like wind to keep you alert on your drive though!

Today is CD29 for me and I'm either 7 or 8dpo. My temps are doing great and I'm feeling really positive still and trying to keep it that way since I have a tendency to start getting down on myself at this point in my cycle. This morning when I woke up the first thing I realized was that my abdomen was really tight and it almost hurt. It felt like I'd done a gazillion sit ups. But, soon after getting out of bed that feeling pretty much went away and now my abdomen just feels "heavy." I've never experienced anything like that before so that's a new one to add to my FPS list!

Other than that, nothing much to report. I think I'll test this weekend and DH's birthday is on Monday of next week so it would be pretty awesome timing if this were "it." :p

jimmysgirl~ I'm sending you sticky vibes! Any chance you might look into getting a completely new doctor at a totally different location? They might see you sooner.

Tenny~ I'm looking at testing in the same time period. Eek!

jen~ Have fun with the bd fest!

Hew?B~ I'm so sorry that AF showed. On to a new cycle and perhaps this will be the one!!!

Yes...I made an appointment with a completely different doc (female this time) and she is seeing me in two weeks. I feel much better about that.

Sunshine You know, I'm not sure if I will be considered high risk or not. I've had one miscarriage and turn 35 in January, so I suppose its possible that my new doc will refer me to a high risk OB, isn't it? Didn't even think about it.

Welcome KaliLily! Hope your stay is short and sweet :)

LadyD088 - Sorry about the BFN.

Mandos - I hope you get your BFP, sorry about the confusing end of your cycle.

HEW?B - That is strange. But strange is completely normal after BCPs.

Dancn and Sunshine - Yeah, so much for the Bears losing huh? My husband is estatic (him being a longtime fan). I have mixed feelings since my Vikings are totally sucking, but I'm secretly happy just because DH is so blissed out about it :p . Awesome game!

APhiJill - Great picture!

Sam and Jessica - Yay for FPS! Oh how they tease us so!

My body was giving me all the fertile signs so I thought that was it. I even took an OPK (finally remembered :o ) last night and it was negative so I felt like I O'd. docoNY Glad you had fun on your mini-vacation!

teacher_jessica Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

So does anyone else feel like they are in a funk? I'm just feeling down today! I don't like to complain because I don't want to sound like a brat. But I'm not feeling very hopefully this cycle even though Dh said to me last night that he thinks I'm pg. I hope he is right. It also doesn't help that everything I do has to be a project....if anyone can help me set up my computer for wireless that would help. I think I need to buy a new modem, but that is a different story. I need to go shopping I feel like I have nothing to wear, but I keep putting it off because I hope to pg. I have been putting it off for 4 cycles now I just need to bite the bullet and go shopping. Maybe if I do then I will finally get my BFP! Anyway, I did have a really nice long weekend so I can't complain too much. Well thanks for letting me rant for a second....I need that!

Hey ladies. Quick drive-by post before I head home at 4:30. Yippee! I've been on fire all day. I'm super hot and noticed that my cheeks are all red when I looked in the mirror. I've been drinking water like crazy to try and cool off but that really hasn't helped much. I KNOW this isn't a FAKE pg symptom. I can't possibly be THIS good at making this stuff up! LOL I know progesterone can make you feel hot and tired but THIS hot? I even sit under the AC vent at work and its not doing anything for me. Usually I'm freezing today I'm burning up. Just needed to vent. It's still WAY too soon to test at only "possibly" 7 DPO. The earliest I'd test would be on Thursday since I have a ton of those cheapie PG tests.

FSUSammy: I sooo feel your pain. I think I started testing at 7DPO. I was nuts. I can not even believe I am going to admit this in public but this past cycle, I took a total of about 12 tests. Thank heaven for the $1 ones!!! Good luck. My fingers are crossed for you.

CD 14 here so hopefully our TTC will start soon - doing OPK's and with my wacky cycles I need too!

I'm on CD 14, too! :) I did my first OPK this afternoon. Man, was it hard to keep from going to the bathroom for 3 hours! It was good for my house though, I got a lot of cleaning done in an attempt to distract myself.

That is why I handed all my pg tests over to DH this month. I start way too early and test way too much! I test more then I usually admit!:D

Hey everybody. Just checking in so you remember I'm around. I'm on CD3. I haven't read TCOYF yet so I haven't started temping yet and was hoping to start this month. So this month, we'll just have to have a lot of BDing in my house and hope we get lucky.

I just sit at my desk at work and not move - made it till about 12ish :)
hopefully I will O like normal around cd16/17 - last month I had to keep testing till I think it was CD22 and that was annoying :)

RP from Charting:

CD 38, possibly 8 DPO. Temp was up again today. Not feeling as warm as I was yesterday. Probably has to do with the fact that today I'm wearing a skirt instead of pants. Also not feeling sick to my stomach like I was yesterday which is good.

Seeing What Happens again.

DH and I decided to not go on BC of any type following Easton's birth. I am not going to chart as I was directed to do following Rebekah's birth. We are just letting things happen as they will. So if you see me around, that's why. Will be cheering all of you on, waiting to see all of you get your BFP's

Hey Ericka - welcome back

Sammy - glad you arent feeling as badly today as you did yesterday. When is AF due?

Me - CD11 - DH comes home tonight and BD will start through next week. I will start on OPK's tomorrow. I am so concerned about holding the pee that long!! Silly thing ot be worried about I am sure. I am going to try to hold it for just 3 hours - from 1:30-4:30 and then POAS at 4:30 to check.

FSUSammy

Tenny~I am totally agreeing wiht you on the Funk that I am in. My plumbing was all messed up yesterday so I called into work. Well peopel here are just nasty. Whatever I am only here until June so WHATEVER.

Sunshine~The Bears are kicking ass. I have never really gotten that into it, but this year they are def. doing an awesome job. Its quite awesome to tell you the truth.....

Me, let me see..I am on CD 23 6 DPO. I am okay other than dealing with this stupid work place. I am tired of dealing with stupid people who think they are awesome get a clue, your really not!!! This woman, likes to think everyone hates her. But she is the one that sits in her dman office all day and awtns nothing to do with anyone...whatever, I am not goig to sit in another meeting and her about how she is so abused by all of us.

Good morning ladies! It's actually sunny here today so I'm in a pretty darn good mood! :)

Nothing too terribly exciting to report on my end. I'm 8-9dpo today and my temp dropped slightly. :( It's still up at a level I'm happy with but I'd LOVE to see it start climbing on up there! ;) Woke up with that same tight abdomen this morning so who knows what's going on there. Maybe I'm sleeping weird?

dancn226~ 6dpo... only a little longer until testing right?

FSUSammy~ You're not too far off from testing either! I'm glad you're not feeling as hot today!

loving624~ Enjoy that bd fest!!!

Welcome Ericka!!!

I wrote a song 5 minutes ago that I thought you all would appreciate. :)

An Ode to OPKs
I have to pee!
I have to pee!
Oh won't you please
Let me pee?

No applause, please. Just make the next 1 hour, 45 minutes go by fast! :D

Sam~Your symptoms sound spretty good! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. When are you planning on testing?

Ericka~Hey! Glad to see you back around. (Not so glad that I am still here but I am over it). :p Your Easton is precious. I'll add you to the front in a minute.

Loving~Good luck holding it. I have to hold it that long pretty often since i am a teacher and can't just run to the bathroom whenever. Have fun bd'ing!

Dancn~Sorry that you are hating your work right now. I can relate to that sometimes. I hope people get a clue and if not that thyey leave before you plan to. If not, at least you have a countdown to look forward to.

Jessica~Maybe that could be an implantation dip. Here's hoping that temp pops back up tomorrow. We are right on the same schedule. I was 8-9 DPO yesterday too. When are you planning on testing?

KaliLily~That was too funny. I love it. I hope you make it another hour!

I am about 9-10 DPO today. I am having pretty few sypmtoms and the ones I have could be due to impending AF. I am definitely not going to read too much into it. I am also pretty moody which is not a typical Af symptom for me but the Clomid has been making me more emotional so I am attributing it to that. I will probably test on Sunday if there is no AF, spotting, or cramping.

Hello All!

Tenny - Sorry you've been in a funk. I totally know what you mean about the clothes issue, I've been doing the same thing but I'm getting desperate at this point.

Sam - Yay for a temp jump! Hope you heat up again ;)

KaliLily - Yay for your first OPK! LOL, love the song!

Ericka - Welcome back! Although you've never really left us and have always been so helpful when we are confused and have questions :)

Loving - Good luck with the BD Fest!

Dancn - Sorry for the work funk. That lady sounds like a real peach

Jessica - I hope your tight abdomen feeling results in a BFP!

Me - Well, I thought I may have O'd on Saturday but I think I really O'd last night. I took an OPK after work and it was positive so I let DH know that there would be some BDing going on. OMG, neither one of us was in the mood and we just kept laughing, trying to figure out what to do. We were trying to find something sexy on TV but fate was conspiring against us. What I wouldn't have given for a porno at that moment :o . Eventually we managed to be serious and get the job done. And this morning I was rewarded with a massive temp jump. Praise God, the BD Fest is finally over :p .

ETA - Yay Looty, you're almost at the end of your 2WW! I've got my fingers crossed for you!

KaliLily ~ I'll have to remember that song when I start mine. I hope you made it.

I don't know how I'll be able to hold it in especially if I can't test first thing in the AM.

I'll be back later on, just busy again calling people trying to set up interviews. Taking a CC break.

I DID!!! :D And I hadn't gone since 9am! I had a hair appointment today at 9:30 and then ran a bunch of errands. By the time I got home it was too late to go again until OPK time.

teacher-jessica~I am going to hold out to test if AF is late. I don't like wasting $ since I have a problem with not buying other stuff liek flat panel tv's. So I will wait as logn as I can.

Looty~I am tired of stupid people. Its going to get very intresting espeically tomorrow. There is a board meeting toinght, and they are laying off a TON of people. My job is safe because once again its grant funded, so they can't touch me but its unreal all the people they are going to get rid of......

Lana~You go girl. You and your DH are hard core, we have the smae problem to. Its liek when you just don't have then energy, it take EVERYTHING!!!

Anyhow, its been a long day. In Chicago area there is no sun at all, os its kind of depressing I can't wake up, and it sjust so cloudy!!!

Sammy - Glad to hear about the temp jump. I hope that this is the month for you.

KaliLily - You are a champ. I dont think I could hold it that long.

Loving -Have fun with your BD fest.

Dancn - Sorry to hear about work. The dreary weather cant help.

Looty - Your story is funny. I hope that it worked and that this is the month. What a story to tell.

Me: I havent really been keeping track this month. Although, I think we had pretty decent timing. Plus we were away on a trip together, so I was super relaxed. I will be able to test around the 24th which is my grandma's birthday so it would make a BFP extra special.

loving624
11-14-2006, 03:41 PM
Krissy - I have read a lot about that, called a "babymoon". When you are super relaxed sometimes it really does help.

Me: I was on my way home and I for some reason remembered a song. Its a long post, but I thought I'd post it on here.

"Lately (Dreaming about babies)"

"I used to think I had it made,
Every time we said goodnight.
This little dating game we've played,
Has always seemed to feel all right.
I've had my privacy and your heart on a string.
And it's never been my style to ruin a good thing.

Oh, but lately,
I've been thinkin' 'bout a change of plans;
Maybe get a couple wedding bands,
And do something crazy.
Maybe get a piece of land and see,
If we could start a little family tree.
Well, I don't know what's gotten into me,
But I've been dreamin' 'bout babies.

I know it can be hard these days,
To be a family man.
I know that all the experts say:
"You need to live life while you can."
I've heard psychology on what makes "true love" true,
And I've read the books on educated points of view.

Oh, but lately,
I've been listenin' more to Dr. Seuss,
Readin' up on Mother Goose,
Seems she's quite a lady.
I've been seein' lots of pinks and blues,
An' little bitty tennis shoes.
Hearin': "Goodnight Daddy, I love you"'s.
Yeah, I've been dreamin' 'bout babies.

I used to dream of fancy foriegn cars,
And black tie affairs.
And how we'd live in separate condos,
While we climbed the golden stairs.

Oh, but lately,
I've been thinkin' that it makes more sense,
To build a house with a picket fence,
Forget the Mercedes.
Get some puppy-dogs and trainin' wheels,
And a family Oldsmobile.
I can't believe just how good it feels,
To be dreamin' 'bout babies"
